How do I add, rename, hide or delete a category?
In Site Settings, Content Categories, under Your categories. + Add a category asks for a Name, What Counts As One Card (for example "The dishes and restaurants in each post") and, if you like, Group Cards By (the small line over each card, such as Cuisine). Click Add and sort: Podspun reads every post, episode and article on your site and sorts it into the new category, only that one, so your other categories stay as they are. It takes up to an hour, and the cluster shows in your Social Explorer once it has three cards. A site can have up to six categories.
Rename changes the name everywhere the category shows. Show in Social Explorer: No takes it out of the explorer's clusters but keeps its cards, so it can still be the featured one. Delete first lists what it will change on your site, worked out for that category: its cluster leaving the Social Explorer, which category the explorer, home page and Live Portrait switch to, how many card pages stop opening, and, for a places category, the Where filter. Then it asks you to type DELETE, and removes the category and its cards from your site when you click Save; your posts and episodes stay. A deleted category goes to Recently deleted, under your categories (the last ten), and Restore brings it back as it was, with its cards, when you click Save; nothing is sorted again. A site keeps at least one category. Drag the rows to change the order of the clusters.
