Getting started

The kind is set on each website. Your account has no type of its own, so one account can hold a podcast website, a film website and an art website at the same time.

Open the website from Website Builder, then Site Settings, General. Under What this website is, check Podcast, Social Media, Visual Artist or Filmmaker. More than one is fine. Checking one adds the pages it comes with and offers its blocks in the block picker on that website; nothing you already have is removed. You also choose the kind when you add a new website.

Art Studio appears in your account menu once one of your websites is a Visual Artist website. Films appears under Pages & Content on a Filmmaker website.

Connect your channels. Every episode and post gets a page, and the site keeps itself current.

Every channel you add gets a page on podspun.com at its own address. While it is Active, Podspun.com Exposure in Podspun.com Setup sets how findable that page is: Full (promoted across Podspun and indexed by search engines), SEO Only (indexed by search engines but never featured by Podspun), or Unlisted (up for anyone with the link, but search engines skip it and Podspun does not list it anywhere). Keep it on Full to be included in the show strip, the topic pages, and what we share on our social media and in our newsletters.

Podspun pulls in your podcast episodes from YouTube, Apple Podcasts, or your RSS feed and creates a clean, searchable home for your show. It imports your transcripts and layers in AI so your audience can find what they are looking for, down to the exact moment you said it.

Podspun also generates summaries, highlights, quote cards, badges, and analytics for each episode, making your content easier to explore.

Go to Add New Site and choose Move a WordPress site.

1. Get your file: in your WordPress dashboard, go to Tools, then Export, leave All content selected, and click Download Export File. A file ending in .xml lands in your Downloads folder.
2. Upload it with your website's address (we bring your pictures across from it; the file holds only the words) and click Read my file.
3. Choose: every page and post is listed with its status (Published, Draft, Pending, Private) and where visitors find it today (your home page, in your menu, linked from a page, or not linked anywhere). What visitors can reach today starts ticked, with every published post. Preview any page before deciding, fold similar pages together with Group by name, and tick or untick posts a whole category at a time.
4. Article pages: your press page's links and your biggest categories each get their own page (for example Press, Press Releases, Blog). Keep, rename or turn off any of them.
5. Check and build: we build a private preview. Old addresses keep working, your Google titles and descriptions, categories, tags, dates, main pictures and authors come across, and drafts stay drafts.

Nothing you leave out is lost. To bring more across later, go to Add New Site, the Past Imports tab, and click Bring more across on your WordPress import. Nothing is charged until you turn the site on.

Yes. On Channels, choose Add a channel, pick TikTok or Instagram, and paste the profile's address or @handle. The instant website builder takes the same links: paste a TikTok or Instagram profile there and it builds a site from the account's posts. The account must be public. Podspun imports every post: videos get a transcript (TikTok captions are used when the video has them; otherwise the audio is transcribed), photo posts index their written caption, and each post gets AI analysis, topics, and a pull quote.

Keyword and AI search cover your posts the same way they cover episodes. Social Feed shows the latest posts, and Social Explorer adds topic browsing and search. Episodes, videos, and posts share one catalog total. Yearly includes 1,600 and prorates a newly crossed 100-item band through renewal. Monthly includes 800, then charges $1.50 per 100 when imported and each month.

A normal site lists episodes and plays audio. Podspun transcribes every episode and indexes every word, so visitors search what was actually said and ask an AI that answers from your catalog. A website is one optional output of that index: Podspun can also run as just the engine, with your catalog surfacing on podspun.com or through the Data API.
