What does Podspun cost?
+$29/month: Unlimited channels, with up to 300 public videos included. Each additional 100 videos runs at $4/month.

How does Podspun work?
+Podspun pulls in your YouTube podcast episodes and creates a clean, searchable home for your show. We import your transcripts and layer in AI so your audience can easily find what they’re looking for, down to the exact moment you said it. Podspun also generates summaries, highlights, quote cards, badges, and analytics for each episode—making your content even easier to explore.
Do I need to do any setup?
+No. Just link your Google account, and we’ll handle the rest.
What can my audience do on my Podspun site?
+They can search for any word or phrase and instantly jump to the exact moments where you said it. There's also an AI-powered assistant built in, so they can ask questions and get answers straight from your content. Plus, they can browse auto-generated highlights, download or share quote cards, filter episodes by tags or length, and explore summaries and analytics.
Do I need to manually upload my videos?
+No. Once you connect your Google account, Podspun automatically imports your public YouTube videos.
Can I use Podspun if my podcast isn't on YouTube?
+Currently, Podspun works by connecting to your YouTube channel. If your podcast isn't on YouTube, you might need to upload your episodes there first to take advantage of Podspun's features.
Can I use Podspun for more than one podcast?
+Yes, your account can link to multiple YouTube channels. Whether you host one show or five, Podspun keeps them organized and easy to explore.
Can my audience filter or explore content?
+Yes! Visitors can browse episodes by title, date, length, or tags, and explore auto-generated summaries, insights, highlights, and badges.
How does Podspun spotlight the best of my episodes?
+Podspun surfaces key moments, creates quote cards you can share or download, and adds badges and tags to each episode. Every highlight, quote card, and key moment links straight to its timestamp, so fans can easily find and share your best moments.
What kind of insights does Podspun generate for my episodes?
+Each episode gets auto-generated summaries, key moments with timestamps, smart tags, and analytics like words-per-minute, grade level, and listening ease. You also get a simple channel-level overview so you—and your audience—can understand your content at a glance.

Using and Managing Your Podspun Site
Is there a limit to how many episodes I can upload?
+For $29/month, you get unlimited channels and up to 300 videos included. Go over that? It’s just $4 for every extra 100. You can link your content and look around for free—no need to launch until you're ready.
How do I delete my account?
+You can deactive channels within your account login. Or email us at [email protected] and we’ll take care of it.
Who do I contact for billing or tech issues?
+Just send a message to [email protected] and we’ll help you out. Or you can click the chat bot widget in the bottom right corner to talk with us.
How fast does Podspun update new episodes?
+Your YouTube channel syncs automatically every night after you connect it. Podspun also updates transcripts and auto-generated highlights, summaries, and other insights. No extra work needed—we’ll keep things up to date for you.
Does Podspun work with private or unlisted YouTube videos?
+Podspun only pulls in your public videos, but you still have control over what shows up. You can hide any episodes you don’t want on your Podspun site—so even public videos can stay behind the curtain if you’d like.
What if my transcript is wrong or missing?
+We pull in the transcript directly from YouTube. If something’s off, you’ll need to update it on YouTube first—Podspun will sync the fix on the next update.
How does Podspun use my data with AI?
+Podspun uses your data solely to power your questions through AI just in that session, and does not store the results.
Will my YouTube video ads run on Podspun?
+Yes—if your YouTube videos are monetized, ads may appear when they’re viewed on Podspun.
Podspun displays videos using the standard YouTube embedded player. Embedded videos follow the same monetization and ad settings you’ve chosen on YouTube itself. That means:
- If ads are enabled on your YouTube video, pre-roll, post-roll, skippable, or non-skippable ads may appear on Podspun.
- If ads are disabled on your YouTube video, no ads will appear on Podspun.
- Podspun does not add, control, or sell ads on top of your content.

Revenue:
Any ad revenue generated from embedded playback goes only to YouTube and the video owner. Podspun does not receive a share.
Opting out:
There’s no way to disable ads only on embedded players. To prevent ads everywhere, you’d need to change your video’s monetization settings on YouTube or disable embedding entirely.
That Said:
If for whatever reason you want to send all video trafic to YouTube directly, and not embed it, we also give you the option for all video playback to link out to YouTube.
