Data & Integrations · Full walkthrough
Bring your content together.
Connect podcast and social channels, follow import progress and choose how their content reaches your website.
Before you start
Gather the public podcast feed and social channel addresses you own or manage. A website can use several channels; connecting a source, importing its content and placing that content on a page are separate choices.
Choose the channel type

Open Podspun Dataweaver and choose Add channel. Pick the appropriate podcast or social source rather than treating a channel address as a whole website.
For podcasts, use the Apple Podcasts address or RSS feed supported by the form. For YouTube, connect the channel using the available Google flow or channel option.
Use the channel's own address, not an individual episode link, when you want its catalog.
Connect the correct source

Complete the source's connection form and review the detected channel before adding it. Use the supported TikTok or Instagram import for those social sources.
Check name, artwork and source URL so you do not import a similarly named account. Follow authorization prompts only for the account you intend to connect.
Channel importing can affect your plan's included content and overages. Read the current preview or billing terms shown for your account before confirming.
Follow import and processing

Return to the channel list and review its import or processing state. Open the channel to inspect the items that have arrived and their source links.
New content can be ready while older items continue processing. Transcript search and AI features need processed material, so a connected channel is not proof that every episode is already searchable.
Review excluded items or failures rather than repeatedly adding the same channel. Ongoing syncing is separate from an initial historical import.
Configure the channel and website use

Review channel settings and content filters, then choose the channels your website or page should display. Preview a real item on the public page.
Use the channel's available controls for filters, split feeds and import scope. Avoid changing exclusions without considering how the website's lists will change.
Check artwork, dates, source links and playback for an imported item. A channel in your account still needs to be selected in the relevant website/page configuration.
Review checklist
- The connected sources belong to the intended channels.
- Import and processing states were reviewed.
- Filters match the desired catalog.
- The website displays and plays the intended content.
If you get stuck
A connected channel is not on my website
Review the channels selected for that website or page, then preview its content blocks.
Search cannot find an older episode
Check whether that item's import and transcript processing have completed and whether it was excluded.
