Take your catalog to another app.
Give an application authenticated read access to your channels and episodes through the documented Data API.
Before you start
The Data API gives another app read access to your account's channels and episodes. Each key has the recurring price shown on the creation screen. This is separate from a free, site-scoped AI Editing token that can change a website.
Read the API scope and documentation
Open Settings → Data API & ChatBot Tokens and find Data API Keys. Open Data API documentation for the current base URL, authentication method, endpoints and parameters.
Choose this when a developer or integration needs structured catalog data. Check what the consuming app will store and who can access it.
Use the live documentation rather than constructing guessed endpoints. The account role must allow creating a key when it adds a charge.
Review cost and create a named key
Choose Create key. Read the account-specific price or agreement coverage, label the integration and continue only when you intend to start that access and any charge.
The creation prompt explains whether the key is created immediately or follows checkout. A label helps you distinguish applications later.
Create a separate key for an independently managed app so replacing one integration does not force unrelated apps to change; each key can add its own recurring charge.
Use and maintain the connection
Copy the new key when it is revealed and store it in the consuming app's secure server-side configuration. Use the documented authentication and inspect the returned catalog.
The full key is shown once. Keep it out of screenshots, public page code and source repositories. If it is lost, use the rotation flow and update the application.
Review status and Last Used in the keys table. Rotate or delete keys deliberately: the old credential stops working and the consuming app must be updated.
Review checklist
- API scope and recurring cost are understood.
- The key is stored privately in the intended application.
- Returned data matches the intended catalog.
- Unused or replaced credentials are handled deliberately.
If you get stuck
I cannot see Create key
Ask the account owner or a Full Admin; creating a charged key is restricted by account role.
An application stops working after rotation
Update it with the newly issued key. The previous key no longer authenticates.
