How do I make a promo code for my store?

Open Promo Codes under Store & Donations and click Add promo code. Type the code buyers will enter, like FANGORIA20, choose Percent off or Amount off, and set Status to Active. The discount comes off the products in the cart. Shipping and tax are never discounted, and tax is worked out on the discounted amount.

Starts and Ends limit a code to a window, so a campaign code stops working on its own. Partner names the outlet or campaign a code belongs to, and the list shows the paid orders and sales for each code. Each code has a partner link: a visitor who opens it has the code applied in their cart, and a buyer can also type the code in the cart. Checkout checks the code again, so a code set back to Draft or archived stops working right away. Orders that used a code show the discount and the code under Orders.
