How do I sell a product as a preorder?

Open the product under Store & Donations, Products, and in the Drop section set Preorder to Yes. Type the expected shipping in Ships By as a plain phrase or date (for example, late November 2026); buyers see it as Ships by late November 2026. Save the product.

A preorder is bought like any product: the button reads Preorder instead of Add To Cart, payment is taken at checkout through your connected Stripe, and the order arrives under Orders for you to ship when the goods are ready. Stock counts still apply, so a preorder with a Stock of 0 shows Sold out. A preorder can also have an opening and closing time.
