What does Analytics show me?

Analytics shows what people do on your sites: page views, unique visitors, AI questions, keyword searches, and link clicks, for the days you choose in the date dropdown beside the Report button: Today, Yesterday, the last 7, 30 or 90 days, All time, or days picked in its calendar. The calendar reaches back to your first day of data, with busier days shaded darker: click a day to see that day, or click a second day to see every day in between. A day runs midnight to midnight UTC, and for one or two days the Activity over time chart shows each hour in your own time zone. Traffic includes the visitor funnel, conversion rate, gross checkout revenue, form submissions, email signups, member joins, purchases, memberships, and donations. What converts connects those confirmed actions and revenue back to the traffic source, referring site, landing page, and UTM source, medium, campaign, term, and content that brought the visitor in. It also shows session quality, landing and exit pages, common journeys, and top content. Campaign Tracking lists the UTM tag values on the links people arrived by, one list per tag (UTM Source, UTM Medium, UTM Campaign, UTM Term, UTM Content), with the tag's name beside each heading. Questions asked (AI search) and the keyword search lists show how many times each was asked, and when more than one ask came from the same visitor, how many different people asked it in brackets, so one person repeating a question does not look like many. Current ranges are compared with the previous matching period; today has no comparison, because the day is not over.

Individual activity and journey detail are kept for 90 days. Daily totals, conversions, revenue, and campaign attribution are kept for historical reporting.
