How does the Events block choose what to show?
The Events block lists the event records you manage under Film Studio, Calendar & Events. Under Which Events, All upcoming events (the default) shows every published event that is still ahead or on the air, soonest first, up to the number you set in How Many. Events I choose shows only the ones you pick, in the order you pick them. Only the events typed below ignores the shared records and shows the entries typed into the block itself.
Each event carries a status: Upcoming, Tonight, Today (for a date-only event), Live now, Replay, Ended, or Canceled. Tonight and Today are worked out on the visitor's own calendar day, and times are shown in the visitor's own time zone with the event's local time in brackets when they differ. The button follows the state: RSVP or tickets before the event, Watch live while it is on, Watch the replay after. An event without a replay link reads as Ended. A date-only event is never shown as live. With a film chosen, the block also lists that film's screenings from Film Studio.
