Make the image you need.
Describe an image in the asset picker, preview it and make variations before saving it.
Before you start
Choose where the image will be used. Know the shape and subject you need before generating it, and decide whether a real source photograph would serve the page better.
Open Make with AI in the image picker
Open an image field in the website editor and choose Make with AI. Start from the field where the image belongs so you can judge its shape and role before selecting it.
Open an image picker for the page or asset you are editing, then choose Make with AI. This option is for images, not audio pickers.

Describe the subject, setting, style and framing. Mention any space needed around the subject. Choose Make it and wait for the preview; avoid asking for paragraphs of text inside the image.
Choose Make it and wait for the large preview. Inspect the complete image before accepting it.
Look closely at hands, faces, letters and any details that should be accurate. Try a variation if the subject is useful but the composition does not fit.
Choose a result and place it on the page
Review the preview. Make a variation if the subject or composition needs work, then add the selected result to your assets and choose it in the image field. Review the actual page crop and write useful alt text before saving or publishing.
Save the image to your assets when you want to keep it, then select it for the page. Review the image in the actual block rather than relying on the generation preview.
Check its crop on desktop and mobile and give it accurate alt text. Keep explanatory text in the page where it remains readable and editable.
Review checklist
- The subject is fully framed in the intended crop.
- The image contains no misleading factual detail.
- Alt text describes the selected image.
If you get stuck
The composition is too tight
Request more space around the subject and review a variation.
The image looks good in the picker but not on the page
Review the block’s crop and shape or choose a version composed for that placement.
