What happens to my films when I import my film's website?
When you import a filmmaker's website, Podspun reads its pages and fills in each film it finds (under Content, Films, in your website's menu): the synopsis, credits, festivals and awards with their laurels, screenings (festival, cinema or special event, with each venue's logo, filed in Events Calendar with the film chosen), critic quotes and press articles with the outlets' logos and photos, where to watch, stills and press kit files. Pictures and PDFs are copied to your website's files. It only uses what your pages say, so check each film and fill in anything it missed. This happens on your preview too, and if your preview still has no films when you turn your site on, they are filled in then.
Your pages are then laid out for you. A website about one film gets a landing page with the Film Hero, Film Details and short previews (laurels, the next screenings, one critic quote at a time, press highlights, where to watch), a Screenings page, a Press page and, when there are files, a Press Kit page, with your old site's own screenings or press page reused. The film's credits and your other films go on About. A production company's landing shows a slide and a card for every film, and each film has its own page.
