Can I add a Share button, hide the quotes, or make the links in my show notes clickable on my episode pages?

Yes. Open your website, then Site Settings, Podcasts/Episodes, and Episode Page Setup. The switches there apply to every episode page on the site.

  • Add a “Share this episode” button: puts the button under the Brief Summary. On a phone it opens the phone's own share menu; on a computer it copies the episode's link. Off by default.
  • Turn web addresses and handles into links: a web address or email in the episode description becomes a link, and a handle like @name opens that profile when the same sentence names where it is, as in “Follow her on Instagram @name”. A handle with no platform named stays as text. Off by default.
  • Show the episode quotes: the quotes beside the Episode Highlights. Set it to No to show the highlights on their own. On by default.
  • Show the tension chart: set it to No to take the chart off every episode page.
  • Blur spoiler moments: the “Moments that hook you” labels show blurred until a visitor clicks to reveal them. Set it to No to show them plainly. On by default.

The episode description, the show notes your feed publishes, sits under the player with the heading Episode Description. A long one shows its first lines, fading out, with a Show more link that opens the rest; the whole text is in the page for search engines either way.

Beside the Episode Description and the Brief Summary, a narrower column shows the Episode details: the show, the date it was published, its length and the places it covers, then the guests and the episode's topics. Each topic opens the episodes that share it. In the Episode Highlights, pointing at a highlight shows a Watch cue next to its time, and clicking it plays the episode from that moment.
