Help Center/Your website/Languages and time zone
Can my website automatically publish in more than one language?
Yes. In Site Settings, open the Language tab, choose your Website Language, set Localize Site to Yes, then select additional languages under Also publish in. Your main address opens in your primary language. Podspun prepares and saves the translations, then adds each ready language to the visitor's picker with its own address.
With Open in the visitor's language on, someone arriving at your site sees the version in the language their browser is set to, when your site is published in it. Choosing a language in the picker switches it and is remembered on their device, and a link to a specific language version always opens in that language. Search engines are never redirected, so every version stays in search results at its own address.
Published website text, navigation, buttons, forms, episode descriptions and search descriptions can be translated. Audio, transcripts, direct quotations and original social captions keep their original language. Visitors read saved translations, so switching languages does not start another translation job.
Automatic website translation is included at no additional charge for now.
