What shows under each post, and can I turn it off?
Up to three rows show under every post: Related reading (other posts from your website, the ones in the same category or on the same subjects first), Related episodes, and Related social posts (your Instagram and TikTok posts). Podspun finds them by itself. There is nothing to pick.
Episodes and social posts are matched on the post’s subjects, the labels each post is given when it is written. An episode or a social post is shown when it shares a subject that the post’s own title names, as one of its topics, in its title, or in its caption. A subject that only a few of your episodes or posts share counts for more than a common one. A post with nothing that matches shows no row. A post built around one episode shows the episodes related to that episode.
All three are on for every website. To turn one off, open News / Blog, Automation Config and set Related Posts Under Each Post, Related Episodes Under Each Post, or Related Social Posts Under Each Post to Off. A post where you placed your own Related Social Posts block keeps your picks, and the automatic social row is left out there.
A new episode or social post can join a post’s row within about an hour.
