How is a new site's palette chosen?
Every new site starts on one of the designed palettes shown in the theme settings. When the site is created from a channel, Podspun reads the channel's own art and picks the palette closest to it: dark or light, colorful or restrained, and which color leads. When no art can be read, the pick falls back to the channel's name and description.
The chosen palette is highlighted in the theme settings, and you can switch to any other palette there at any time.
