How does the winner pay, and what happens if they do not?

When a lot closes with a winning bid at or above the reserve, the winner is awarded the lot and emailed a Pay now link. The lot page shows the same button to that member and nobody else. Payment runs through Stripe on your own connected account, for exactly the winning amount, and the winner has the lot's Payment Window (72 hours unless you set another value) to pay. A physical lot collects a shipping address at payment; put shipping and delivery terms in the lot's Fulfillment Terms and Shipping Note, since no shipping charge is added to the bid.

Once paid, the lot shows as Settled, the winner gets the usual receipt, and the order appears under Orders like any store order, marked as an auction. Podspun's share is the same per-sale cut as a store sale.

If the deadline passes unpaid, the award expires and the lot lands in Unpaid awards on the Auctions page. Nothing happens automatically: there is no second-chance offer and no charge. Contact the bidder, relist the item as a new lot, or click Mark handled to take it off the list. Canceling a lot keeps its record and voids a pending award; a paid lot is refunded from the order, never by canceling the lot.
