October 16, 202401:16:07
00:00:00
since time began we found ways to settle
00:00:02
our differences this town ain't big
00:00:04
enough for the both of us what you
00:00:08
heard looks pretty darn spacious to me
00:00:12
there ain't nothing but space but today
00:00:15
we don't shoot it out we bet it out
00:00:17
right draw right jockey man those one
00:00:20
shoots out the
00:00:25
gate bet it out with beta r18 bet
00:00:29
responsibly
00:00:35
George lock hat welcome to my podcast
00:00:38
man it's honor to be here brother
00:00:39
finally I really appreciate it first of
00:00:41
all um who is George lockheart and what
00:00:43
do you do uh I'm a I guess a Combat
00:00:46
Sports nutritionist strength
00:00:47
conditioning coach um for just about
00:00:50
anybody any Champion that you know I
00:00:52
probably worked with them either in
00:00:53
boxing or MMA I'm so excited to get into
00:00:55
this chat because yeah you you've you
00:00:57
name it you've worked with them like
00:00:58
Conor
00:01:00
Tommy you're here in New Zealand based
00:01:02
here at the moment working with um
00:01:04
Joseph yes sir working with Joseph
00:01:06
Parker we've been working together for
00:01:07
the last year and um you we've kind of
00:01:10
hit her stride and really taken off in
00:01:12
that year so things are good yeah what
00:01:15
have you done what have you done with
00:01:18
Joseph you know it's funny to me it's
00:01:20
the most basic stuff but it's you know
00:01:22
like um I work you know anybody that
00:01:24
knows me has followed me in the past
00:01:25
knows that you know like I'm the MMA guy
00:01:27
I started off in MMA worked with all the
00:01:28
MMA fighters and uh it's because MMA
00:01:31
isn't is a very new sport it's a very
00:01:33
young sport so like I wanted to bring my
00:01:36
expertise into a young sport thinking
00:01:38
that boxing I'm like boxing's been
00:01:40
around forever they know what to do how
00:01:42
to do it and then um I started you know
00:01:44
one of the first boxers I work with was
00:01:46
B Jack and um worked with him and he was
00:01:49
like hey man you think help some of my
00:01:50
buddies are on on the undercard and I
00:01:52
went to them and they were doing weight
00:01:53
cuts and they were doing nutrition and
00:01:55
it was like I'm like wow you guys are
00:01:57
worse than than any other sport that
00:01:58
I've ever seen in my life like it's so
00:02:01
primitive it's so old school boxing like
00:02:03
nobody um really tracks
00:02:05
anything came into boxing it uh found
00:02:08
out Joe was the worst of them you know
00:02:10
Joe was like I'm like wait you're a
00:02:12
world champion man um you know so what
00:02:15
we've been doing is basically the last
00:02:16
year we we created a Baseline and now
00:02:18
this year we're about to about to really
00:02:20
take off like really hit our stride and
00:02:21
everything El but we built the most
00:02:24
basic fundamental strength conditioning
00:02:26
uh mo mobility aerobic capacity he
00:02:29
didn't have any of those when we started
00:02:31
and uh he won on sheer boxing IQ and
00:02:34
tenacity so that that sounds really
00:02:37
insulting when you say that
00:02:39
bro I mean that as a compliment like bro
00:02:42
you're so good that like you didn't have
00:02:45
any of the fundamental freaking things
00:02:46
that you need the base you won because
00:02:49
you're so tough but you and also he's so
00:02:52
knowledgeable about boxing he's boxing
00:02:53
IQ is is on point and I told him last
00:02:55
year I'm like dude we start working
00:02:57
together and you get these fundamentals
00:02:58
you get that base I'm like you're going
00:02:59
to be unstoppable nobody's going to be
00:03:00
able to touch him so so did you how did
00:03:02
you guys connect did you meet him in
00:03:03
morham yeah yeah we were yeah so I was
00:03:05
work obviously work with Tyson Fury yes
00:03:07
he came in with a dillian white fight we
00:03:10
had met the second uh Wilder fight in
00:03:13
Vegas you know we C super nice guy I
00:03:16
mean like who doesn't like Joe uh but we
00:03:18
first worked together in Tyson camp with
00:03:20
dillian white he just wanted to see he's
00:03:22
like can't try this I've never had
00:03:23
anybody cook food for me and stuff like
00:03:25
that it was more personalized for for
00:03:27
Tyson he'd eat the food he's like a
00:03:29
losing weight and feeling good stuff
00:03:31
like that um it wasn't until the Jango
00:03:34
fight that he's like hey man can I bring
00:03:35
you in you know I just got done working
00:03:37
with Tommy brought me into moram and
00:03:39
then that's when we really started doing
00:03:40
stuff together and so how long are you
00:03:43
live how long are you in New Zealand for
00:03:45
till Joe leaves which I think is we're
00:03:46
here till August right yeah we're to
00:03:48
August and you and you've been here for
00:03:50
months yes uh April got here April so
00:03:52
that's a that's a massive call yeah like
00:03:55
you you you know upping rots and moving
00:03:57
to New Zealand for that length of time
00:03:58
yeah y absolutely no but it's uh it
00:04:01
feels like family here you know like uh
00:04:03
Joe besides just Joe you know paasa
00:04:06
John's brother his wife his little girls
00:04:09
I feel like it's a second family out
00:04:10
here so it's not like I'm I'm homesick
00:04:13
or anything like that it's it's nice out
00:04:14
here so so what does what does a day
00:04:16
look like um it's it's funny we always
00:04:19
talk about this you know like when
00:04:21
people see Fighters it's like the sexy
00:04:22
like oh your glamorous life it's
00:04:24
basically like cook clean grocery shop
00:04:27
go to the gym come back cook clean
00:04:29
grocery shop
00:04:30
every single day seven days a week um
00:04:33
but I love it it's awesome you know
00:04:34
seeing these things because at the end
00:04:36
of the day like you'll do this for four
00:04:39
months at a time and then all people see
00:04:41
is the the 12 rounds you know what I
00:04:44
mean or you know it could be with Joe
00:04:45
coming up in up upcoming fights be a
00:04:47
couple rounds but they're like wow man
00:04:49
you just you made that much money in two
00:04:50
rounds like they don't see the months
00:04:52
and months that it took but it's you
00:04:54
know the one thing Simplicity and
00:04:55
consistency every single day we make
00:04:58
these small small stride so it's
00:05:00
repetitive but consistency and
00:05:01
simplicity so that that is a general day
00:05:03
for me cook clean grocery shop and
00:05:06
gym because I follow you on Instagram
00:05:08
and I follow Joseph on Instagram there
00:05:10
is a lot of gym time yeah so so at this
00:05:13
part of the training cycle for Joseph is
00:05:14
he is he mainly doing white strength and
00:05:17
conditioning yeah so he's he's bulking
00:05:19
up right now you know so you know it's
00:05:21
funny he's he was so shocked like he's
00:05:23
like oh there's faces and stuff I'm like
00:05:24
yeah you know like yeah I know I'm like
00:05:27
what like how is that even a question
00:05:29
man um but it's like you know it's like
00:05:32
people they keep doing the same thing
00:05:33
over and over and over again in boxing
00:05:35
that is about everybody I've seen worked
00:05:36
with they have no Rhyme or Reason they
00:05:38
do it because it's always been done
00:05:40
before and I'm like why you doing this
00:05:42
right now he's in he's in a phase where
00:05:43
we're building like being bigger doesn't
00:05:45
Al necessarily mean better if Joe gets
00:05:48
bigger but his conditioning goes down
00:05:50
it's not really beneficial you have to
00:05:51
you have to out you know weigh things to
00:05:53
gain a little bit of muscle you have to
00:05:56
make sure that the conditioning and
00:05:57
Mobility stays then it's then it's an
00:05:59
Advantage if your conditioning goes up
00:06:01
with it and your Mobility stays up with
00:06:03
it and your strength goes up then it's
00:06:05
an advantage but only then so right now
00:06:06
we take a long like strength in in
00:06:08
building uh muscle is the long it takes
00:06:11
the longest if I ask you how long do you
00:06:13
think a bodybuild like a professional
00:06:15
bodybuilder on all the gear in the world
00:06:17
every steroid known to man how much
00:06:19
weight do you think they how much muscle
00:06:21
you think they put on per year I've got
00:06:22
no idea take gas 5 kilos they be 5 lb 5
00:06:27
PB so 2 and a half kilos in a year right
00:06:30
that's with every steroid known to man
00:06:32
and this is all they focused on so when
00:06:34
people were like oh yeah I packed on
00:06:35
20bs like you proba packed on you know
00:06:37
it's water weight it's fat it's also and
00:06:39
a little bit of misc amount of muscle I
00:06:41
started working with Joe and it's like
00:06:44
so precise like the food he eats what
00:06:47
time he goes to sleep the eating the
00:06:49
lifting and the thing is he's he's
00:06:51
Lifting for the first time in his life
00:06:52
for real now so now he is packing on
00:06:54
that muscle he's packed on about I think
00:06:57
10 to 12 lbs in the past year which just
00:06:59
I'm telling you it's astronomical it's
00:07:01
insane yeah and we're trying to get like
00:07:03
we're trying to get him to 124 kilos by
00:07:05
the time we leave here what ises he now
00:07:07
uh he's 118 wow yeah jeez and he's he's
00:07:11
looking like he's just looking better
00:07:12
than what he's ever looked before early
00:07:15
in his career he was nicknamed um the
00:07:16
king of
00:07:17
pies and he was even sponsored by like a
00:07:20
a place called Burger King he had Burger
00:07:22
King bro the stories I hear from this I
00:07:24
didn't know all this stuff and he's like
00:07:25
Uso like before one fight we had a
00:07:27
Whopper eating competition like it might
00:07:30
like like it's funny but it also hurts
00:07:32
my soul like I'm like before a fight I'm
00:07:35
like oh man I'm like you're that good
00:07:37
I'm like it's so crazy but uh yeah you
00:07:39
look at old pictures like he's when he
00:07:41
fought Joe Joyce his face was so puffy
00:07:43
he was like and he weighed less than he
00:07:45
does right now so you know he's
00:07:48
definitely packed on muscle and uh you
00:07:49
know things are going good okay but you
00:07:51
I might ask a lot of dumb questions CU I
00:07:53
I know nothing about I've never had a
00:07:54
fight in my life um say someone like
00:07:57
Anthony Joshua has always been in great
00:07:59
shape right and looks ripped and then
00:08:00
there's like you know Andy Ruiz or Tyson
00:08:03
Fury who look terrible out of shape so
00:08:06
why does it matter
00:08:07
well it's the question of what shape is
00:08:10
you know what I'm saying like if you
00:08:11
look at shape like for someone to look
00:08:13
aesthetically pleasing it's not very
00:08:15
hard to get ripped up cut up it actually
00:08:17
isn't hard at all you don't actually
00:08:19
have to lift you know it all comes down
00:08:20
to nutrition but to increase a robic
00:08:23
capacity power strength Mobility all
00:08:26
these things you can't actually look at
00:08:28
somebody until that you know like um you
00:08:31
look at Tyson you would not think that
00:08:33
guy was quote unquote in shape because
00:08:34
you're looking for a six-pack you're
00:08:35
looking for big muscles but his aerobic
00:08:38
capacity is absolutely insane and if
00:08:39
you're aerobic capacity mean that you
00:08:41
can recover every time there's an
00:08:42
exchange with a Boxer in a fight your
00:08:45
heart rate goes up right now when you
00:08:46
guys separate if if we're up here and my
00:08:49
heart rate can go down to here and yours
00:08:52
goes down to here every time there's an
00:08:53
exchange we do this and then it's like
00:08:56
there comes a point where this guy is
00:08:57
eventually going to break because you
00:08:59
have that ability to recover faster than
00:09:00
him um now if you have somebody like
00:09:03
Wilder he has got connectivity right
00:09:05
he's got super it's not that he's super
00:09:08
powerful but if you look the
00:09:09
connectivity means the punch goes from
00:09:11
the bottom of his foot to the end of his
00:09:13
hand he's able to knock people out is it
00:09:15
because he's super strong absolutely not
00:09:17
you know the guy can't lift very much is
00:09:18
it because he's so big absolutely not
00:09:20
it's because of connectivity you take
00:09:22
all these pieces and then that's what's
00:09:24
going to create actual Fitness or a
00:09:26
complete boxing and I think a lot of
00:09:28
people they look at Anthony Joshua and
00:09:29
they look at he's got a lot of muscle
00:09:31
and stuff like that I think Anthony
00:09:33
Joshua actually gets a lot of um
00:09:36
Confidence from that and I think he puts
00:09:38
a little bit too much confidence in that
00:09:40
because there's a lot of times where
00:09:41
muscle you know muscle consumes oxygen
00:09:43
more than anything else and if you have
00:09:45
this extra muscle and it's not helping
00:09:46
me punch faster harder more consistently
00:09:49
then it's just extra in as therefore
00:09:51
looks [ __ ] you're a genius at the stuff
00:09:53
aren't you no no no seriously so
00:09:56
knowledgeable so okay so um an average
00:09:58
day for Joseph so you control everything
00:10:00
he eats everything D everything he eats
00:10:03
every every training session sleep
00:10:05
schedule you know everything so you're
00:10:08
not there for meal time though like he
00:10:09
you just give him like a diet plan or no
00:10:11
no no I cook every single meal that you
00:10:13
know so usually like we live together
00:10:16
but you know like this is such a long St
00:10:17
he actually got me an apartment uh which
00:10:19
is awesome and it's nice kind of gives
00:10:21
me and my girl we get a little little
00:10:23
free space and stuff like that but we go
00:10:25
to the gym every morning so I'll just
00:10:27
basically set his breakfast first thing
00:10:28
in the morning we meet at the gym I give
00:10:30
his next lunch and snack and then we
00:10:32
meet in the gym again for the night
00:10:34
workout and then I give his dinner and
00:10:35
his nightly snack there so you know we
00:10:38
got a we got a pretty good schedule goes
00:10:39
back to sleep and we do it all over
00:10:41
again if you're not living in his head
00:10:43
he know he's I'm sticking to it no I
00:10:45
will tell you this I've been doing this
00:10:47
long enough man it's it's funny I know
00:10:49
Joe doesn't cheat and I know if Joe
00:10:51
cheats he tells me he's got this like
00:10:53
but like I've been doing this so long
00:10:55
I've worked with so many fighters and
00:10:56
it's funny because like it's it's it's
00:10:59
mathematical like this it's things that
00:11:01
are impossible people are like ah yeah
00:11:03
you know I went to bed at 115 kilos and
00:11:06
I woke up at
00:11:07
117 I'm like you know it's
00:11:09
scientifically impossible to gain weight
00:11:12
while you sleep and they'll be like well
00:11:13
I don't know what happened I'm like you
00:11:15
ate something I know that you know so um
00:11:18
the numbers don't lie like I'll know
00:11:19
something is up and if something doesn't
00:11:21
add up um it's usually a sign that maybe
00:11:24
he's getting sick or something like that
00:11:25
and that's us what we pull out but
00:11:27
that's you know we I monitor so many
00:11:29
things from his from his heart rate his
00:11:30
HRV his his uh sleep his weight first
00:11:33
thing in the morning right before he
00:11:34
goes to bed so we know something is
00:11:36
happening before it becomes an actual
00:11:38
issue you know what I mean so you know
00:11:41
right when he starts let's say maybe' be
00:11:42
getting sick we just cut back on actual
00:11:44
working
00:11:45
out and does he have like a a cheat day
00:11:48
or a cheap meal or anything is that such
00:11:49
a thing or no well you
00:11:51
know I guess how you put this he's a
00:11:55
he's a Lamborghini and I always tell
00:11:57
people like was gu going to cheat me
00:11:58
cheat this it's like like let's say you
00:11:59
have a Lamborghini right he's a
00:12:00
Lamborghini and your Lamborghini is
00:12:01
driving beautifully right and you're
00:12:03
like you know what you've been doing so
00:12:04
good I'm going to put some shitty fuel
00:12:06
in your system right does that make any
00:12:09
sense right but you know at the end of
00:12:11
the day he you know sugar crave sugar we
00:12:14
and he eats he eats sugar he'll have
00:12:16
like dark chocolate at night that
00:12:17
actually helps him sleep uh like Manuka
00:12:19
honey and stuff like that his night
00:12:21
snack would be a a cheap for a lot of
00:12:23
people but you know he loves Sushi and
00:12:25
it's like time and place for everything
00:12:27
he'll have sushi on Sundays and that's
00:12:28
his loading day especially now that he's
00:12:30
gaining weight um but he never you know
00:12:33
he'll never get like cake or pizza or
00:12:34
anything like that you know honestly I
00:12:36
don't think he ever craves it right so
00:12:38
what does an average day look like I
00:12:39
know no two meals are the same but say
00:12:41
an average breakfast lunch dinner yeah
00:12:42
know honestly like his breakfast is
00:12:44
almost consistent like I need
00:12:45
consistency especially when gaining
00:12:48
because if you have different
00:12:49
meals uh you don't know what's working
00:12:52
you don't know what isn't so like we'll
00:12:53
start off with four potatoes so morning
00:12:56
this is almost what you'll have four
00:12:58
potatoes half of a a black pudding
00:13:01
you'll have four eggs um two uh chicken
00:13:05
rashers and then you'll have a whole
00:13:06
package of minced uh chicken like a
00:13:09
whole package put that all together then
00:13:11
that's his breakfast you know if he's
00:13:13
not gaining any more weight guess what
00:13:14
you do you'll add like a potato you add
00:13:16
more chicken but you know exactly what
00:13:18
you need to do but you're not adding too
00:13:19
much you know um we did shotgun at the
00:13:23
first time where I just I'm like let's
00:13:24
just give him as much food as possible
00:13:26
but now it's it's pretty you know pretty
00:13:28
much the same it's just different I
00:13:30
guess flavorings like for lunch we'll
00:13:32
have a half a cup of rice and it's like
00:13:35
what what do we flavor it with you know
00:13:36
we're going to do bell peppers jalapenos
00:13:38
we going to make this more spicy we're
00:13:40
going to do with more like Co saw and
00:13:41
stuff like that but I cook everything in
00:13:43
a bone broth so it helps his digestive
00:13:45
track everything you know everything
00:13:46
moves fluently um and then the meats I
00:13:49
keep with pork uh chicken and then he'll
00:13:52
have you know he actually has a lot of
00:13:53
red meat right now you'll have less red
00:13:55
meat as we change phases once he starts
00:13:57
training camp because it takes a little
00:13:58
bit longer to digest right so you're
00:14:00
like a chef as well I wouldn't say I was
00:14:02
a chef yeah know anybody I don't want to
00:14:04
put any chef down because that's uh
00:14:06
disrespectful the chef call me a chef
00:14:08
I'm a cook I've been but I've been
00:14:09
cooking for a long time like I could
00:14:10
definitely throw down when it comes to
00:14:12
to cooking you know what I mean I make
00:14:14
good meals um you know people you want
00:14:17
to enjoy your food you know that's one
00:14:18
of the things I never thought in a
00:14:19
million years that I would if you would
00:14:21
have told me 10 years ago like you're
00:14:22
going to be cooked oh actually no God
00:14:23
it's I've been doing it for 10 years now
00:14:25
you have told me when I was in the
00:14:26
Marine Corps that I'd be cooking and
00:14:28
loving it I would have been like you're
00:14:29
crazy but I love it it's therapeutic and
00:14:32
you know there's so many ways to to cook
00:14:34
a chicken I never know so and do does it
00:14:37
pay well it's I mean it's a big
00:14:38
commitment from your part like moving to
00:14:40
New Zealand for half a year yes yes it
00:14:42
definitely does pay well yeah and it's
00:14:45
is he paying you new dollars or New
00:14:47
Zealand is is there a difference or oh
00:14:50
there's a big differ Dam that's I
00:14:52
thought I was making it I will tell you
00:14:54
I'm star to wonder how anybody out here
00:14:56
lives like I like I I'm like wait wait a
00:14:59
minute like oh I'm like this is a lot of
00:15:00
money and then you're like w this is
00:15:02
only worth half like but then you go to
00:15:04
the store and it's like a cucumber is $7
00:15:07
and I'm like $7 for like in America it's
00:15:10
like 40 40 cents you know so I'm like
00:15:13
what's going on everybody told me cuz
00:15:14
you got to ship everything out but I'm
00:15:16
learning a lot I love this I love this
00:15:18
country but I'm like wow leaves me with
00:15:19
a lot of questions yeah and um I I I
00:15:22
read somewhere that you said you plan to
00:15:24
work with him till the end of his career
00:15:25
yeah so this sounds like more of a like
00:15:27
a friendship or a bromance oh bro we uh
00:15:29
yeah he's my best friend really he's
00:15:31
he's my genuinely he's my best friend um
00:15:34
yeah we
00:15:36
uh is it more than like how do to put
00:15:39
this
00:15:41
um when you're close to somebody you be
00:15:43
like oh you're going to be the best in
00:15:44
the world stuff like that like when I
00:15:46
told him that like I meant that like I
00:15:48
it's not like I'm giving them BS or
00:15:50
blowing smoke like I told him you know
00:15:53
he's believing now like he he believes
00:15:55
and that's the dangerous part you know
00:15:56
what I'm saying like Joe's always been
00:15:57
this humble guy he such a nice stuff
00:15:59
like that and to be humble you have to
00:16:00
be that good you know like if you suck
00:16:02
at boxing and you're like I'm all right
00:16:03
you're not humble you're just all right
00:16:06
Joe's humble you know he's genuinely
00:16:07
humble but he like we talk now and he's
00:16:10
like dude I can beat anybody I can beat
00:16:12
everybody and he knows it and he knows
00:16:13
it's coming um we share that we share
00:16:16
commonality we share the same goals um
00:16:19
you know and we have we we definitely
00:16:21
have a friendship because I mean we
00:16:22
spend more time together than our actual
00:16:25
families and he spend with his wife more
00:16:26
than I spent with my son you know what I
00:16:27
mean and uh um you better like the
00:16:30
person you're working with if you're
00:16:31
going to do that long and um okay so you
00:16:34
you've worked closely with um Tyson Fury
00:16:35
and that's how you met Joe um if those
00:16:38
two were fighting where would you be
00:16:40
where would I I would be with I would be
00:16:41
with Joe I would 100% be with
00:16:45
Joe it's slightly awkward no not at all
00:16:48
no I mean um no I think Tyson um you
00:16:51
know he he win a different route um this
00:16:54
last fight he didn't work with me and um
00:16:57
you know I I he lost a lot of weight and
00:17:00
stuff like that and I think um you got
00:17:03
to click with the person that that
00:17:05
you're working with you know what I mean
00:17:07
like as a as a coach I really feel like
00:17:09
some coaches I don't know if you've ever
00:17:11
heard of Tim crater or Dustin porier
00:17:13
Dustin por is really big in MMA world uh
00:17:16
Tim crater was a really good friend of
00:17:17
mine he was a former coach of his uh
00:17:20
Dustin poer was beating everybody in the
00:17:22
UFC and his coach I've never seen this
00:17:24
before his coach is like I've literally
00:17:26
taught you everything that you like I I
00:17:28
possibly can and he was in Louisiana
00:17:30
he's like you need to go to a bigger gym
00:17:31
and that's going to lose him a lot of
00:17:33
money as a coach but he wanted him to go
00:17:35
to a bigger gym and he did he went to
00:17:37
ATT in in Florida but I was like man
00:17:39
that that's what a real Coach is you
00:17:41
know people that are like mad because
00:17:44
some they go somewhere else if
00:17:46
somebody does better and they they
00:17:48
increase better with somebody else I
00:17:49
want them to go with that they feel
00:17:51
better more confident with that
00:17:52
individual and I think Tyson did that
00:17:53
and you know there was a huge
00:17:54
transformation you know you look at his
00:17:56
physique and stuff like that um but in
00:17:58
in terms of like any kind of awk it
00:18:01
definitely but if there's a question of
00:18:02
who I'd be with there wouldn't be a
00:18:04
single question I'd be with Joe I real
00:18:07
and and he can be the best in the world
00:18:09
can be no he is the best in the world
00:18:11
that 100% like I'm telling you right now
00:18:13
like I'm telling you guys everybody
00:18:14
going look back like when they they said
00:18:16
the Wilder fight I was like wait for it
00:18:19
Zang fight wait for it but I told
00:18:21
everybody um the Jango fight that was
00:18:24
the first time we worked together you
00:18:26
know you know he had the fastest
00:18:27
knockout we worked together for six
00:18:28
weeks and he like the transformation
00:18:30
that he had in that six weeks was
00:18:32
incredible um and it's just like all the
00:18:34
stars line you know you know how we
00:18:36
started working straight condition
00:18:37
together yeah so I was doing nutrition
00:18:39
for him and Andy Lee and them they were
00:18:42
in the gym so we I'm like you guys are
00:18:43
go to the gym so I'll just go to the gym
00:18:44
so I'm lifting and uh they walk in and
00:18:47
they're kind of like what do you want to
00:18:49
do I'm like sitting there like no way
00:18:52
like there's no real like there was no
00:18:53
structure there was no planning I'm like
00:18:55
what the I was dying
00:18:59
you know and uh and he's like well you
00:19:01
know have George put us through and
00:19:02
stuff like that and
00:19:04
then I I think it's a lot different than
00:19:06
I expected I'm like this is going to
00:19:07
last this amount of time this am like
00:19:08
everything is structured which what
00:19:10
you're supposed to do each and SE like
00:19:12
every day the kind of growth that you're
00:19:14
going after every single day
00:19:15
CU like I always tell people you're born
00:19:18
you only have so many buckets a week of
00:19:20
energy right and as a as a an athlete if
00:19:23
I waste one of those buckets on doing
00:19:25
some needless activity you know what I
00:19:27
mean if I'm doing a needless activity
00:19:29
I'm wasting that energy you know and in
00:19:31
boxers be like let's go for a run like
00:19:32
why why are you running oh let's you
00:19:34
know let's pick up weights and just do
00:19:35
this for three minutes why are you doing
00:19:37
that you know what I mean everything's
00:19:38
got to have a purpose everything's got
00:19:39
to have a reason and a meaning and uh I
00:19:42
took over stre the condition and they
00:19:44
were like holy crap like I I started
00:19:47
teaching them you know like first ask
00:19:49
why you know and I'm like well how's
00:19:51
that going to help you box better and
00:19:52
you kind of be like I don't I don't know
00:19:54
you know and then he started learning
00:19:55
how to do certain things like core like
00:19:57
core strength and stuff like that
00:19:59
started teaching about connectivity T
00:20:00
you know talk to him about aerobic
00:20:01
capacity and all these things and he's
00:20:03
starting to notice it you I Andy started
00:20:05
noticing this huge difference like wow
00:20:07
his heart rate like Andy at first was
00:20:09
kind of but then we come back in the
00:20:10
corner be like how's his heart rate like
00:20:12
seeing how much it drops between each
00:20:14
round every 60 seconds is it is it going
00:20:16
down to where we want it to go and if
00:20:17
it's not why not you know is you know is
00:20:19
his muscular endurance off like you know
00:20:21
what is it that that's causing so so
00:20:22
many things but um yeah we it was all by
00:20:25
chance and then next thing you know
00:20:27
after the Jingo fight
00:20:29
we just started doing everything
00:20:30
together strength conditioning nutrition
00:20:32
everything it's amazing because a couple
00:20:34
of years ago like all the sports
00:20:36
journalists here in New Zealand were
00:20:37
like oh Joseph should retire like it's
00:20:39
one fight too many he was done done I
00:20:42
didn't know that until he told me that
00:20:43
cuz you know I do I I'm I'm in boxing
00:20:46
but I don't follow the sport like you
00:20:48
man I never followed the sport like
00:20:49
Triple G you know Triple G right he
00:20:52
called me they called me one day and I
00:20:53
called my business partner I'm like hey
00:20:54
man have you ever heard of Triple G and
00:20:56
he's like are you kidding me man he's
00:20:57
like Triple G I was like yeah so we
00:20:59
working with him but I had no idea who
00:21:00
he was I love what I do but I'm not like
00:21:04
watching boxing matches my job is to
00:21:06
make you the best boxer you can but I
00:21:08
don't know like all these boxers so on
00:21:09
so forth but yeah no that was um I
00:21:12
forgot I was going with that but what
00:21:14
was your question oh just about how you
00:21:16
know the media over here were basically
00:21:18
saying he was [ __ ] a couple of years
00:21:19
ago oh yeah so and then when he told me
00:21:20
he's like yeah he's like Uso he's like
00:21:22
after the Joyce fight they were like you
00:21:24
should retire and I was like I had no
00:21:26
idea like I was like after seeing you
00:21:28
know the grow stuff like that I would
00:21:30
have thought everybody's like this guy's
00:21:31
up in Comming he's like no so they they
00:21:33
wanted me to retire said I should retire
00:21:35
and you know couple fights it was funny
00:21:37
after Jango he he beat D Jango and uh
00:21:41
he's like he's getting his confidence
00:21:42
back he's like dude we have something
00:21:44
going on here and then he couldn't find
00:21:45
a fight and I told him I'm like listen
00:21:48
the the call always comes the problem is
00:21:50
that people aren't ready when the Call
00:21:51
Comes you know what I mean Andy Ruiz
00:21:53
like he was training for another fight
00:21:55
when he had that call that call he got
00:21:57
for uh Joshua came at the time he was
00:21:59
ready for it and I told him listen we
00:22:01
just got to be ready and then next thing
00:22:02
you know Sai calls you know he fights
00:22:04
Keem knocks him out on the third and
00:22:06
then next thing you know it's Wilder and
00:22:08
I I told him I'm like bro it's going to
00:22:10
go like this and then it's going to take
00:22:11
off and I like you just better be the
00:22:12
right person when it happens and he is
00:22:14
and he's still doing everything he needs
00:22:15
to be doing I don't think other Fighters
00:22:17
are doing what they're supposed to be
00:22:18
doing you know he's he's not staying
00:22:20
stagnant he's growing I see we know I
00:22:22
mentioned on Instagram you were coming
00:22:23
in for a chat and did anyone have any
00:22:25
questions um I did get one from Joseph
00:22:28
Park oh no who has a stronger core you
00:22:31
or Joseph
00:22:34
Parker I hate him I hate him so
00:22:38
much what's the joke well
00:22:41
well we started off like so like what we
00:22:45
started off he was
00:22:48
super let's say he wasn't the strongest
00:22:50
guy in the world like he like blew my
00:22:51
mind like I I would I would laugh
00:22:53
sometimes cuz I thought he was messing
00:22:54
with me you know Joe likes to joke
00:22:56
around I thought he was messing with me
00:22:57
and then I'm like oh no he's not J and
00:22:58
he's serious like he can't do this
00:23:00
specific exercise so I had a lot my core
00:23:02
is a lot stronger now like he blows me
00:23:04
out of the water in terms of core like
00:23:05
his strength is is 10 times and I have a
00:23:08
really strong core in my opinion and you
00:23:10
know I think he likes kind of rubbing it
00:23:12
in but as a coach I'm actually proud I'm
00:23:14
like you know what that's a good thing
00:23:17
so yeah yeah I I can tell you're proud
00:23:19
you can see um yeah just this twinkle in
00:23:21
your eye when you talk about him it's a
00:23:23
great relationship and and on behalf of
00:23:24
New Zealand thank you for what you've
00:23:26
done to re-energize his career oh no man
00:23:28
yeah that's a blessing yeah now let's
00:23:30
talk more about some of the some of the
00:23:31
George lockart stuff so so before you
00:23:33
got into this um in your previous life
00:23:35
you were a marine yes sir um for like 10
00:23:38
years yes sir um what exactly is a
00:23:40
marine and what's the training involved
00:23:41
is it is it similar to Navy Seals no uh
00:23:44
well it depends on what you do uh you
00:23:46
know so the Marine Corps would be the
00:23:48
most specialized out of all the branches
00:23:50
so you have you have the Navy Coast
00:23:52
Guard Air Force Army um the Marine Corps
00:23:55
is the smallest they have the longest
00:23:57
boot camp they are revered is like
00:23:59
basically the most I would say militant
00:24:02
of of the branches um I was a Recon
00:24:05
Marine so Recon Marine would literally
00:24:07
be uh you would equate to a Navy SEAL
00:24:11
you know you have to go through U you
00:24:12
have to go through a screening you got
00:24:14
to go through um pipeline like jump
00:24:16
School SE School uh RNs rip course stuff
00:24:20
like that so I got to go to a million
00:24:21
different schools I went through you
00:24:22
know basic digital network analysis
00:24:24
School Morris code School jump School
00:24:26
Ser I went through just about I felt
00:24:28
like I was professional student um so
00:24:30
for six years I was a Recon marine and
00:24:32
the last four years I was a I was a
00:24:33
combatives instructor so taught people
00:24:36
how to fight with weapons and stuff like
00:24:38
that from in the Marine Corp it's a
00:24:39
great job you get to get paid to fight
00:24:42
people which is a great job you know so
00:24:45
so to be be a marine you got to be you
00:24:46
got to be tough and smart no no no no no
00:24:49
they're definitely not smart that's why
00:24:51
that's why I join
00:24:53
Mar if you join you're probably not the
00:24:55
smartest you know but uh they they is
00:24:58
craye eaters for a reason like literally
00:25:00
that's that's call you what eaters craye
00:25:02
eaters crane eaters craye like you know
00:25:03
crayons like the the stuff kids crayons
00:25:07
CR
00:25:10
a we're me we're
00:25:15
me oh that's terrible um yeah I did some
00:25:19
uh Googling about it this morning and um
00:25:21
it said um in basic training you you
00:25:23
learn to uh learn to walk and talk like
00:25:26
a marine what does that mean uh well so
00:25:28
when you go into the Marine Corps they
00:25:29
they break down you as an individual
00:25:31
they teach you how to brush your teeth
00:25:32
they teach you how to uh wash your face
00:25:35
like you can't do anything you you can't
00:25:36
even use the the head or the the
00:25:38
restroom without permission they teach
00:25:40
you how to use the head how to do
00:25:41
everything so basically they treat you
00:25:43
like uh an invilet you know break
00:25:45
everything down so they can build you up
00:25:47
again you know and they do you know and
00:25:49
that's it's a it's a great feeling you
00:25:51
know nothing I more Pride than becoming
00:25:54
United States Marine it's an amazing
00:25:56
feeling you know you accomplish
00:25:57
something and then you're part of A
00:25:58
brotherhood that you know lasts lifetime
00:26:01
if I walk into a room and someone's like
00:26:02
hey so and so is a marine we
00:26:04
automatically click you know my dad was
00:26:06
a marine too so you know it's a like a
00:26:08
special Club oh yeah 100% you know I A A
00:26:12
lot of new zealanders probably don't um
00:26:14
understand because we don't have the
00:26:15
same sort of pride in our Armed Forces
00:26:17
here but yeah when you travel
00:26:18
domestically in the states if there's a
00:26:19
military person they get to board the
00:26:21
plane first uh there's a real sort of
00:26:23
prestige with it right yeah yeah we're
00:26:25
we're in a great part of the country
00:26:26
that that you know time in country it's
00:26:29
not always the case but right now you
00:26:31
know if you're in the military
00:26:32
everybody's like thank you for your
00:26:32
service stuff like that it's definitely
00:26:34
uh a lot of people take a pride in in
00:26:36
the military it's a it's a great thing a
00:26:38
great time fortunately it wasn't the
00:26:39
same with my dad my dad was in Vietnam
00:26:41
and it was the total opposite right it's
00:26:43
crazy it's a fad I think it goes up and
00:26:45
down at times and you went to combat Z
00:26:47
say where did you where did you go uh I
00:26:48
was in fuah 200 uh 2004 five and six so
00:26:53
it was a it was a good time was it a
00:26:55
good time was it a good time what are
00:26:57
your um yeah what are your experiences
00:26:59
or Recollections of that do you talk
00:27:01
about it or not really uh no I mean I
00:27:03
talk about it you know like a lot of
00:27:04
people will be like oh you know so and
00:27:06
so saw this and they don't really talk
00:27:08
about it um it's like one of those
00:27:10
things like um like like Joe like me and
00:27:13
Joe will talk fighting and stuff like
00:27:14
that cuz I fought before he's fought
00:27:16
before and it's fun to talk to people
00:27:17
about stuff that you guys can correlate
00:27:19
with you know it's not that like I don't
00:27:20
talk to people about stuff like oh it's
00:27:22
just so tragic and I can't you know
00:27:24
like I just can't comprehend and I you
00:27:27
know no it's not that it's just it's
00:27:28
like why would I bring that up to you
00:27:30
you know what I'm saying like it that'd
00:27:31
be the most awkward conversation in the
00:27:34
world you're like okay I can't really
00:27:35
relate to that or maybe you can you know
00:27:37
if there was a if there was a
00:27:39
circumstance or instance that that I
00:27:41
would bring it up where it would
00:27:42
correlate with you I wouldn't have any
00:27:44
quals with that yeah you know but it's
00:27:46
not one of those things you bring up at
00:27:47
a dinner party like a there one time I
00:27:48
saw the guy blown you know what I mean
00:27:49
like it's not really the yeah but did
00:27:51
yeah did you you see some horrible
00:27:52
things oh yeah absolutely I mean like
00:27:54
were you
00:27:56
shoad yes Shad BL yeah why is he
00:27:59
laughing like it's D no I mean yeah it's
00:28:03
definitely if you I mean fua was like
00:28:05
like a hot spot if you read about fua
00:28:07
yeah it's definitely uh yeah no 100%
00:28:10
yeah they shot at blown up you know um
00:28:12
if you look at all my like the guys that
00:28:14
they bring to the mace the martial art
00:28:15
center of excellence guys with uh uh
00:28:18
they Marine Corp hand picks some you
00:28:19
know a lot of a lot of it with uh
00:28:22
martial arts backgrounds and then
00:28:23
obviously combat experience they want uh
00:28:27
these guys to be able to to teach uh
00:28:29
Marines basically from their combat
00:28:31
experience I was I was handpicked from
00:28:33
the Marine Corps and it was it was it
00:28:34
was a great experience and you know
00:28:36
being able to teach and you know use
00:28:38
what I learned to help others you know
00:28:41
kind of stay out of situations and yeah
00:28:43
D did you do do did you take any lives
00:28:47
well you don't answer that or no no no I
00:28:49
didn't no no um what about um you said
00:28:52
so you said in the training they they
00:28:54
like break you down to to make you fit
00:28:56
in so you're no longer an individual
00:28:58
when when you leave after 10 years do
00:29:00
you have to like reverse that like how
00:29:02
do you how do you go back to being a
00:29:04
normal civilian again oh man it's
00:29:05
definitely it's it's transition there's
00:29:06
a lot like a lot of people have a very
00:29:08
hard time Marines have a very difficult
00:29:10
time um cuz the Marine
00:29:13
Corps how how I put this like
00:29:17
you're as a marine you're designed for
00:29:20
for one thing you know what I mean like
00:29:21
you're you're there to protect the
00:29:22
country but how do you protect the
00:29:25
country you know what I'm saying like
00:29:26
you like we you get down to nuts and BT
00:29:28
you go to a boot camp they're like
00:29:29
they're teaching you the inoculation to
00:29:31
violence to kill somebody or you know
00:29:33
not get killed and they don't want you
00:29:35
to think about anything else when I was
00:29:37
in the Marine Corps guess what I had to
00:29:38
worry about I didn't have to worry about
00:29:39
medical expenses I didn't worry about
00:29:41
dental life insurance I didn't worry
00:29:42
about taxes I didn't worry about nothing
00:29:44
they take care of everything they be
00:29:46
like lockart you need your taxes done
00:29:48
Roger that here's your so you bring like
00:29:50
a folder and then you go to the accting
00:29:52
the place in the base they freaking do
00:29:54
your taxes but you don't have to worry
00:29:55
about anything and then you get out into
00:29:56
the civilian world and it's like you
00:29:58
don't get medical dental like like I got
00:30:00
to get all this stuff myself like
00:30:02
nobody's teaching me how to do this like
00:30:03
I got to figure out like you feel like a
00:30:05
child you know what I mean and then you
00:30:06
get out and you're like they're like
00:30:08
what well what can you do and I'm like I
00:30:09
could beat people up very you know I me
00:30:12
you know they're like what like yeah
00:30:15
it's not it's a it's a transition you
00:30:18
know yeah so uh yeah the Specialties
00:30:21
what makes you a really good Marine but
00:30:23
on on a side note the Marine Corp
00:30:25
teaches you leadership skills and they
00:30:26
teach you what I always call the suck
00:30:28
Factor you don't what a lot of people
00:30:29
when they feel things are bad you know
00:30:31
in the Marine cor it's like you you
00:30:32
don't know what bad is you know what I
00:30:33
mean um and it's like you're able to
00:30:36
drive through and accomplish a lot and a
00:30:38
lot of CEOs of Fortune 500 company are
00:30:40
former Marines you know um they're very
00:30:42
successful but you can go one way or the
00:30:44
other you know and I think a lot of that
00:30:45
depends on the environment I was lucky
00:30:47
enough to transition and fighting is the
00:30:50
closest thing with the camaraderie that
00:30:53
I had in the Marine Corps like being
00:30:54
with joee and stuff like that we have
00:30:56
it's like a a common goal but it's like
00:30:59
there's it's a I don't know with Combat
00:31:01
Sports you still have that that grit and
00:31:04
you got that grind but like there's
00:31:06
nothing that humbles a man more than
00:31:08
training for fighting like I will tell
00:31:09
you this you know you see Joe and you
00:31:11
probably talked to a lot of Fighters and
00:31:12
they're probably the most humble people
00:31:14
nicest people um and I always tell that
00:31:16
because to get better at fighting you
00:31:18
got to get your butt kicked over and
00:31:19
over and over again and once you get
00:31:20
your ass kicked over and over again
00:31:22
makes you a humble person you know you
00:31:24
don't you realize like I'm not the
00:31:26
baddest guy in the world so you know
00:31:28
when you walk around and everything like
00:31:30
that and you get everything out of your
00:31:31
system every single day so you know you
00:31:33
yeah see so you were fighting cre so
00:31:35
this was after the after the Marines you
00:31:36
became like an MMA no I I was during
00:31:39
Marine Corps or over lied oh bro yeah it
00:31:41
a long story on that one oh yeah yeah
00:31:43
let yeah oh yeah I got I got uh so I got
00:31:45
njp twice so
00:31:47
um so njp is basically like um you're
00:31:52
got like going to court you know what
00:31:53
I'm saying like they sent me to court
00:31:55
basically I was a I was a professional
00:31:57
cage fighter before I joined the Marine
00:31:59
Corps and they were like oh yeah we're
00:32:00
all about it a recruiter's going to tell
00:32:02
you anything that you want to hear and I
00:32:03
like awesome I'm like you're going to
00:32:04
let me fight so I when I went to my
00:32:07
first a school they let me fight went to
00:32:09
the second a school let me fight and
00:32:10
they want to get Camp Lun um they
00:32:12
wouldn't allow me to fight and um I was
00:32:15
like wait what like I was like and I you
00:32:19
know I did a whole you know paper and
00:32:21
stuff like that went to my commanding
00:32:22
officer and uh you know showed the
00:32:24
safety of actual MMA I'm like look you
00:32:26
know this this and this like a ref know
00:32:28
protects and he's like I'm not worried
00:32:29
about you getting hurt he's like I'm
00:32:32
worried about you losing he's like how
00:32:34
does that make the Marine Corps look if
00:32:35
you lose I was like what so you know
00:32:38
what I did I called my manager I booked
00:32:41
a fight I booked a flight and I left so
00:32:43
I left I came back and um basically they
00:32:46
demoted me saw I was a Corp they brought
00:32:48
me down the last cor and they're like
00:32:49
you ever do this again we're kicking you
00:32:51
out of Marine Corp and I was like cool
00:32:53
so I booked the flight booked the flight
00:32:56
FL again I fought a guy Scott Harper it
00:32:58
was for it was for a title in Georgia
00:33:01
and uh I won the title came back with
00:33:03
the belt and the Marine Corps times got
00:33:05
a hold of it and did an interview with
00:33:07
my Battalion commander and they're like
00:33:08
you know we've been behind him 100%
00:33:10
we've supported you know uh Lance Coral
00:33:12
lockart d d and I'm sitting there like
00:33:14
what
00:33:16
like like I realized the poit like you
00:33:19
know politics of it but you know they
00:33:21
were up and down stuff like that once I
00:33:23
went to the mace the martial arts center
00:33:24
of accent they let me fight all time I
00:33:26
actually won the AFL World Championship
00:33:27
while I was in the Marine Corps so it
00:33:30
was uh it was it was an amazing
00:33:31
experience getting to fight with weapons
00:33:34
and Marines all day and then you know
00:33:36
after I was done doing that all day I'd
00:33:37
go to Lloyd Irving in in uh Baltimore
00:33:40
and train MMA all night and then that
00:33:42
was basically my that was my life and
00:33:45
what's it on your wrist is that a marine
00:33:46
souvenir no the on the LIF wrist oh left
00:33:49
no this oh this right here this is
00:33:50
something me and my son have my son's
00:33:52
all about survival you know this is just
00:33:54
something that me and him share but it's
00:33:55
like a survivalist like this right here
00:33:57
is FL
00:33:58
so like you can it's like a fire starter
00:34:00
get some metal there's a blade that got
00:34:02
taken from me at the airport that
00:34:04
supposed to be in there you got your
00:34:06
compass you got a whistle and then you
00:34:07
got deck cord right here so right oh
00:34:10
that's nice Al so you don't actually
00:34:12
need it cuz you're in you're in Oakland
00:34:14
City but uh let me tell you something
00:34:15
remind of your s if you need this you're
00:34:17
you're in a world of hurt like if I ever
00:34:19
need if you ever see me in the
00:34:20
wilderness with this I'm like okay we're
00:34:22
going
00:34:23
to problems oh that's cute how old are
00:34:25
you kids you got three right no no I got
00:34:27
one one yeah 13-year-old that's my son
00:34:30
yeah yeah he's uh just turned 13 he's
00:34:32
getting big he's already taller than I
00:34:34
am so he's he's about six foot so damn
00:34:37
that's crazy yes so you're fighting
00:34:39
career so if I've got this right 11 wins
00:34:41
seven losses uh 13 wins seven L1 seven
00:34:44
last yeah when you reflect on your um
00:34:47
your MMA career what what do you think
00:34:48
like from the position you're in now and
00:34:50
all the knowledge you've gathered since
00:34:52
then what would you do differently
00:34:54
nothing nothing at all um
00:34:58
it's funny in in life you know like you
00:35:01
don't realize what working hard for
00:35:04
something is going to translate into you
00:35:06
know um that's why it's like you know
00:35:08
always give 100% in everything that you
00:35:10
do even if it's you know like I don't
00:35:13
see where this is going to go it's not
00:35:14
necessary that that particular thing is
00:35:16
going to take you where you want to go
00:35:18
but it's going to give you the knowledge
00:35:19
that will take you somewhere else and
00:35:20
it's like um I trained so hard like I
00:35:23
was a grinder when I was when I was
00:35:25
fighting stuff like that didn't have NE
00:35:26
you know the the talent um and also like
00:35:30
I didn't train correctly I just wanted
00:35:32
to spar all the time now that I see
00:35:34
these guys like I'm like I'm like SC you
00:35:36
know drilling like it's like the guys
00:35:37
that are good they drill over and over
00:35:39
like in MMA they drill over and over and
00:35:41
over again they're not trying to beat
00:35:42
each other's brains in and stuff like
00:35:44
that they're they're very smart people
00:35:46
Conor Tyson Joe like all these guys like
00:35:49
people they they have this stigma
00:35:51
Fighters aren't intelligent to to be a a
00:35:54
a good fighter you have to be so
00:35:55
intelligent you have to see things see
00:35:57
Ang Les and you have to see them very
00:35:58
quickly but I didn't have those you I
00:36:01
didn't have that but it gave me the
00:36:04
capability like I started off fighting
00:36:06
at heavyweight which in uh in MMA it's
00:36:08
you know 225 lbs is where I when I
00:36:11
started I used to be about 250 lbs and
00:36:13
I'd cut down to 205 and then I ended up
00:36:16
my last uh when I did The Ultimate
00:36:18
Fighter was 170 lbs so that's that's
00:36:21
about 70 lbs lighter than what I'm at
00:36:23
right now so it's definitely a lot
00:36:25
learning how to way cut never knew that
00:36:27
that translate into what I did as a
00:36:29
profession in MMA and help people do it
00:36:31
more professionally yeah yes this weight
00:36:33
cutting thing it's um like a big part of
00:36:35
um your specialty skill set I guess yeah
00:36:38
um I knowing you were coming around here
00:36:40
today I hav listened to a whole podcast
00:36:42
you did with Joe Rogan talking all about
00:36:43
it so so for for anyone that doesn't
00:36:45
know what does it mean exactly like
00:36:47
weight cutting weight cutting so like
00:36:48
weight loss is something that's
00:36:49
permanent right if you're like a George
00:36:51
I want to lose 30 lbs that's going to
00:36:52
take some time okay cuz you got to lose
00:36:54
body fat weight cutting is the ability
00:36:57
to drop weight very quickly but being
00:36:59
able to rehydrate and reload so when you
00:37:01
cut weight it's it's not real you know
00:37:04
it's like it's not a real weight so like
00:37:06
if I told you not to drink any water
00:37:08
today and you weighed yourself tomorrow
00:37:09
morning did you lose five pounds no you
00:37:11
just didn't drink water you your body
00:37:13
released that amount of water so with
00:37:15
with these guys like uh one guy
00:37:17
particularly like Drew Dober he he would
00:37:19
lose 30 pounds in three days um and then
00:37:21
we would rehydrate him he had a 24-hour
00:37:23
process to rehydrate him so he go back
00:37:25
here and and and and fight again but
00:37:27
being able to do that in a proficient
00:37:29
manner where you know it's it's not
00:37:31
something I would ever promote anybody
00:37:33
but it's the name of the game in MMA
00:37:35
weight the advantage is so big you know
00:37:37
if I'm laying on you if I'm on top of
00:37:39
you and I'm 15 20 pounds heavier than
00:37:41
you that's a huge Advantage boxing is
00:37:43
not so much and it's it's funny because
00:37:46
like I told you you know I'm used to
00:37:47
guys dropping 25 pounds they'll be like
00:37:50
oh man I'm good man I got only got 20
00:37:51
lbs to lose and you have like two days
00:37:53
and they're like calms a Cuban cigar I
00:37:55
come into the boxing and the guys are
00:37:56
like dude I have 5 lbs you think I'm
00:37:58
going to make it and I'm
00:37:59
like like and I'm trying not to laugh
00:38:01
I'm like you're fine bro we're we got
00:38:04
those 5 lbs like like that's a burp a
00:38:06
hicup and a fart you think you know yeah
00:38:09
cuz some of the some of the stuff I
00:38:10
heard about you it seems like you you're
00:38:11
almost flowing in the week of a fight
00:38:13
like almost like as as an emergency guy
00:38:15
to help people lose weight yeah
00:38:17
unfortunately what yeah is it is it like
00:38:19
last worst case scenario sort of thing
00:38:21
last resort a lot of yeah like you know
00:38:24
if I work with somebody for an entire
00:38:25
Camp it's super smooth it's it's simple
00:38:27
they make weight but most of the time
00:38:30
like it's last minute like man we got 30
00:38:32
lbs we you know we don't know what we're
00:38:33
doing we need your help it's rock and
00:38:35
roll so so what do you do what do you do
00:38:37
when you've got that much weight in that
00:38:38
limited time frame uh well you know
00:38:40
basically
00:38:42
just this one no I'm telling you it
00:38:44
takes me three days like I do seminars
00:38:46
uh you know like I have certification
00:38:47
for this takes you know I'll talk for 10
00:38:49
hours a day for two to three days to
00:38:51
tell you exactly how to do this but to
00:38:53
break it down in the simplest of terms
00:38:55
like I always tell people your body
00:38:56
doesn't have a brain so like your body
00:38:59
doesn't understand that you can go to
00:39:01
the store anytime that you want right if
00:39:03
it knew that you can go to the store
00:39:04
anytime you want there would be no
00:39:05
reason for your body to hold on to body
00:39:06
fat if it knew that right all it has is
00:39:08
negative feedback signals okay I'm going
00:39:10
to hold on to body fat for this specific
00:39:11
reason survival mechanism right so when
00:39:13
you go out to the desert right if you go
00:39:15
in the desert the first thing that your
00:39:16
body's going to feel is heat right
00:39:18
what's the first response that your
00:39:19
body's going to think what do you going
00:39:20
need to do if it's hot outside sweat
00:39:23
yeah right why because that's a negative
00:39:25
feedback signal like uh oh we can't
00:39:26
overheat it's not it's your body's all
00:39:29
about survival so if it's hot you start
00:39:31
sweating then what happens is a triage
00:39:33
effect okay what's going to kill me
00:39:35
faster dehydration or overheating and
00:39:38
then body realizes like okay we're
00:39:40
cooling the body off but there's no
00:39:42
water coming back in So basically there
00:39:44
systems like the vast suppressing system
00:39:45
is called the RAS system is a reing
00:39:47
angiotension aldosterone system
00:39:49
basically will start pulling salt and
00:39:51
water back into the body so what my job
00:39:53
is to do is override these systems
00:39:55
because you got to remember your body is
00:39:56
65 to 70% water it's not that your body
00:39:59
doesn't have the water to drop it's that
00:40:01
your body do you have the ability to get
00:40:03
your body to let go of that water and
00:40:04
that's what my job is to do right but
00:40:07
I've heard you talking about um the
00:40:08
importance of things like the sort of
00:40:10
deodorant you use yeah yeah that's
00:40:12
that's not really overriding system
00:40:14
that's the most simplest thing in the
00:40:15
world a deodorant it's an
00:40:17
anti-perspirant anti sweat you know like
00:40:19
so when you put anti-perspirant on
00:40:21
you're not going to sweat so when you
00:40:22
get rid of water where's it coming from
00:40:25
sweat so these guys are go into the SAA
00:40:27
before they go in the S they're putting
00:40:28
deodorant on you're like what are you
00:40:29
doing you're like you're making my job
00:40:31
harder
00:40:32
bro [ __ ] that's amazing um where did
00:40:35
your uh passion for nutrition start
00:40:38
where did that begin when I was when I
00:40:39
was young like so I was I was PR Marines
00:40:41
yeah oh yeah I was more of the obese
00:40:43
going up talk about 200 lbs when I was
00:40:45
12 years old like I was just a a butter
00:40:47
ball and uh you know didn't didn't like
00:40:51
the fact of that so uh started learning
00:40:53
about nutrition started experimenting on
00:40:56
a million different things and then you
00:40:58
know by the time I was 14 15 got into
00:41:00
football American football um started
00:41:03
playing sports and then 16 started
00:41:04
fighting and then you know just uh when
00:41:07
you have to cut 10 pounds 20 pounds you
00:41:09
learn nutrition very quickly and you
00:41:11
started seeing how it affects
00:41:12
performance how it affects how you feel
00:41:15
uh recovery you know uh I loved it and
00:41:18
then the crazy thing is that you know as
00:41:20
a fighter he was all about me you know
00:41:22
and I never thought that you know like
00:41:23
watching somebody perform in there would
00:41:26
be more
00:41:27
of a you know like it mean more to me
00:41:30
than me doing well in the ring like
00:41:32
watching Joe kick ass and do what you
00:41:34
know do what he does it means more to me
00:41:37
than than anything you know which you
00:41:39
know like every time you know we do
00:41:41
something I'm never content with he'll
00:41:43
say something I'm like I'm sweating and
00:41:44
I'm like I'm like why is he sweating
00:41:45
extra why is he not sleeping this and a
00:41:48
lot of that like we found out it has to
00:41:50
do with his nutrition so my ability if
00:41:52
he gets in there and he gets dropped
00:41:54
because I didn't um you know do the best
00:41:58
I could have done you know what I mean
00:41:59
if I didn't give him everything that he
00:42:00
needed you know that that weighs on me
00:42:02
you know what I'm saying so you know
00:42:04
nutrition like seeing what it can do
00:42:05
with people it's um yeah that but my my
00:42:09
passion started when I was young yeah
00:42:11
how how did you get fed just poor diet
00:42:12
or oh God yeah my family dude like you
00:42:16
from an overweight family oh so I I have
00:42:18
an oldfashioned white father and I got a
00:42:20
Mexican mother right so what that means
00:42:22
is that I have a father that's like you
00:42:24
better eat everything on your plate and
00:42:26
I have a Mexican mother
00:42:27
that's like Miho you need more and
00:42:29
constantly put more on my plate you know
00:42:31
and it was like a very bad mixture um so
00:42:34
like I I like the amount of food that I
00:42:36
can consume growing up is just so it is
00:42:38
ridiculous and you know you don't as a
00:42:40
kid you don't know anything and you know
00:42:41
my parents didn't really understand uh
00:42:43
yeah you know but um yeah now that I do
00:42:46
it's uh yeah it's definitely fun going
00:42:50
back home yeah CU you're how old are you
00:42:52
you're in great shape now this is me out
00:42:54
of shape I I jacked my back up uh a
00:42:56
couple weeks ago I haven't lifted in a
00:42:58
while uh haven't been in the gym for a
00:43:00
bit but yeah no I definitely like
00:43:03
staying in the gym you know training
00:43:04
with Joe at Time stuff like that you
00:43:06
know competing with them and starting
00:43:08
it's starting to come to a point where
00:43:09
there's not really a competition anymore
00:43:11
which I'm actually proud about but um
00:43:13
yeah no I love it yeah so so Joe's the
00:43:16
um the latest of the um many incredible
00:43:19
Fighters you've worked with so you've
00:43:21
worked with over 100 UFC fighters 11
00:43:23
world champions oh I think even more
00:43:25
than that but yeah we'll go we'll go I
00:43:27
mean that's probably she probably got
00:43:28
just that in in um boxing now yeah Le
00:43:31
let's talk about some of these people
00:43:32
cuz um I I used to be a mess of Ronda
00:43:35
Rousey fan and I remember getting really
00:43:37
really excited for the fight that she
00:43:38
had with Holly home where um where where
00:43:41
Ronda refused to touch gloves at the
00:43:43
start Ronda had a real game face on
00:43:45
right and then um Holly home just like
00:43:47
annihilated her like immediately and you
00:43:49
were you were in Holly's Corner yeah
00:43:51
yeah I was working with her well I mean
00:43:53
so yeah I don't take any credit you know
00:43:55
uh wingle John her head coach probably
00:43:57
amazing guy he's been with there since
00:43:59
the beginning um but they they were
00:44:02
calling from Mar they were you know I
00:44:03
was doing her nutrition um for the
00:44:05
weight cut and then her hydration and
00:44:06
it's funny the girl is a gangster like
00:44:09
the mixture that I had to give her
00:44:10
because they didn't they weren't selling
00:44:12
certain things in Australia was it was
00:44:14
disgusting cuz you remember like when
00:44:16
you're hydrating a lot of people don't
00:44:17
realize like if you cut like 10 15
00:44:19
pounds the amount of sodium that you
00:44:20
have to ingest is not cool and it tastes
00:44:23
horrible and the stuff like we have
00:44:25
stuff in America that will actually help
00:44:27
lud a lot of that they didn't have it in
00:44:29
Australia so she was drinking coffee
00:44:31
with like 9,000 milligrams of sodium
00:44:33
chloride and and I was like oh God this
00:44:36
she's like I don't care just tell me
00:44:37
what I need to tell I'm like all right
00:44:39
girl like you know there was one fight
00:44:41
in um in Vegas that we were work I was
00:44:43
working with her and uh it was like she
00:44:47
was in a bath right and one of the
00:44:48
things I have to work out is like you
00:44:49
lose um you know feeling in your
00:44:52
extremities that means that you know the
00:44:53
osmolality in your body is going too L
00:44:55
your blood pressure is dropping too much
00:44:56
so if you stand up you're going to to
00:44:57
pass out that's a that's a you know it's
00:44:59
a common thing that happens but
00:45:00
something I'm trying to watch out for
00:45:02
and I I was like we're at 15 minutes I'm
00:45:03
like all right go ahe and get out she's
00:45:05
like no I said I was going to do 20
00:45:06
minutes and I'm like sitting there like
00:45:07
this girl is going to pass out but she's
00:45:10
like I said 20 minutes I'm standing here
00:45:11
20 minutes and I can tell she was dying
00:45:13
but he tell she's going to be a world
00:45:15
champion you know and everybody knew she
00:45:16
was going to win that fight and she
00:45:18
hydrated properly she did nutrition
00:45:19
properly you know Wile John gave her the
00:45:22
game plan and she shocked the world and
00:45:24
there it was yeah yeah and Ronda Ry was
00:45:26
never the same that no no never no I
00:45:29
think she had this belief and I think
00:45:31
there was an aura about her you know
00:45:33
what I mean like I think a lot of times
00:45:35
the aura beats people like with Anderson
00:45:37
Sila people were beat before they got
00:45:38
into the to the ring you know and um you
00:45:41
know we with with Joe I talking about
00:45:42
like with with wilder you know a lot of
00:45:44
people they were so it's like if I tell
00:45:47
you don't look at the ground right
00:45:49
you're going to want to look at the
00:45:50
ground right so like what it's like okay
00:45:52
don't get here with the right don't get
00:45:53
here with the right don't get with the
00:45:54
right what are you looking at you like
00:45:56
that right hand you what I mean like
00:45:58
like don't concentrate on what he's
00:46:00
doing concentrate on what you have to do
00:46:02
and then like everything will take care
00:46:03
of itself you know what I mean but yeah
00:46:05
no it's yeah working with all these
00:46:07
Champion stuff like that it's uh it's
00:46:09
been it's been fun yeah it must and
00:46:12
Conor mcgreg so you worked with him
00:46:13
quite you you were working with him
00:46:14
before his boxing fight with um Floyd
00:46:17
Mayweather yeah right that was
00:46:19
interesting yeah that must have been um
00:46:21
just the um the Jos between being a
00:46:24
military man and the back of one of
00:46:25
those shitty noisy planes flowing every
00:46:28
were in a private jet like very very
00:46:31
different Lifestyles bro it was crazy
00:46:33
yeah it was definitely insane for me I
00:46:34
mean I'm a good lie like uh we' worked
00:46:37
together on the Jose Aldo fall this the
00:46:39
first time I ever worked with him and
00:46:40
know you knocked Jose Aldo in 13 seconds
00:46:42
we did the first cut dude he was like
00:46:45
there's no way I'm on weight I'm like
00:46:46
step on the scale stepped on the scale
00:46:47
he on weight he gave me the biggest hug
00:46:49
and he's like dude I want you for you
00:46:50
know I think he wanted me for the rest
00:46:52
of the career then we started doing the
00:46:53
Mayweather thing and you know it went
00:46:56
from
00:46:57
being there the week of the fight to
00:46:59
being there the entire Camp so he fight
00:47:00
me out to Ireland then we're on a
00:47:02
private jet and I just remember like
00:47:05
I've been on a a lot of private jets now
00:47:07
which is really cool but the jet that he
00:47:09
had was nuts like there was like smoke
00:47:11
salmon everywhere like food everywhere
00:47:12
and I just remember like I'd eat
00:47:14
something and then they'd come and
00:47:16
they'd refill it and I'm sitting there
00:47:20
like how much can they like how many
00:47:22
times can they do this like this is I
00:47:23
was like this is amazing it was 13 I
00:47:25
think we flew to from Ireland to LA to
00:47:29
Ontario oh dude so here's something I
00:47:31
got to tell you so we're in Ontario this
00:47:33
is a I mean this will tell you how out
00:47:36
of the public that like I just knowledge
00:47:38
we're in Ontario and um they would help
00:47:41
they' be they would you know I've been
00:47:42
used for security too because of my
00:47:44
military background so like I'm doing
00:47:46
nutrition they'll be like hey you know
00:47:47
can you watch this you do security like
00:47:48
I've been security for Tommy and stuff
00:47:50
like that and um I see this guy walking
00:47:53
in Canada and I'm like dude nobody
00:47:55
stopping this dude like I'm sitting here
00:47:56
like I'm ready to like throw down then I
00:47:57
see I see Conor get up like hey like and
00:48:00
then I'm I'm like I'm like who is that
00:48:02
and they like that's Drake and I'm like
00:48:05
who's Drake you know I had no idea who
00:48:07
the [ __ ] Drake was like like I still
00:48:09
couldn't name one of his songs but at
00:48:10
least I know who Drake is now you know I
00:48:12
mean but that was like the Ontario story
00:48:14
it was uh it was you must be know you
00:48:17
you surely he must know one Drake song
00:48:20
Right hotline bling start at the bottom
00:48:22
now we here start at the bot he sings
00:48:24
that yeah start at the bottom now we
00:48:25
here I that's S I like someone must have
00:48:28
had that as a walking song oh man yeah
00:48:31
so um people must ask you this all the
00:48:33
time it's that's probably a lame
00:48:34
question yeah what's what's Connor like
00:48:36
what can you tell us about him Conor
00:48:37
yeah oh dude I I love Connor man uh is
00:48:40
he Luc unit or is he hardworking and
00:48:41
disciplined definitely he's hardworking
00:48:44
definitely hardworking he's goal
00:48:45
oriented um smart you know he's very
00:48:48
very charismatic um he's actually a lot
00:48:51
more humble than you would expect we I
00:48:53
was working with them in New York and it
00:48:54
was hilarious he's like hey you know
00:48:55
George what times with time his lunch I
00:48:58
told him and he comes in like so humble
00:49:01
and then I'm literally cooking his lunch
00:49:03
and watching him show up I don't know if
00:49:05
you've seen the the the press conference
00:49:07
with him and Eddie Alvarez most humble
00:49:09
guy and then all of a sudden he shows up
00:49:10
in his fur coat like talking smack and
00:49:13
I'm like what the heck like two
00:49:16
completely different people um so the
00:49:20
the Conor McGregor I think of as the guy
00:49:21
that walks like almost with rubber arms
00:49:23
yeah so he's not when you're with him on
00:49:25
his plane he's not walking around like
00:49:27
no no but I like I will tell you that
00:49:28
the guy's charismatic and like it's like
00:49:30
what you see is way he's not faking
00:49:32
anything he's just being himself to an
00:49:35
extreme when he's on on the camera so
00:49:37
yeah no he's a fun like I said he's a
00:49:39
fun guy you know what I mean like I'm
00:49:41
I'm happy for him he he's done very well
00:49:44
so yeah I heard an interview where you
00:49:46
were talking about this period of your
00:49:47
life and you um you didn't do like one
00:49:49
grocery shop a day or a week you were
00:49:51
going to the grocery store before every
00:49:53
meal so you're going before breakfast
00:49:54
going before lunch going before dinner
00:49:56
why is that yeah I just wanted
00:49:57
everything to be fresh and at the end
00:49:59
end of the day I was I was very new to
00:50:00
this you know like I had done nutrition
00:50:02
for a long time but cooking that was
00:50:05
very uh very new to me like when I was
00:50:08
working with so the first one of the
00:50:09
first Fighters I worked with was a guy
00:50:10
named Brian Stan we and him were
00:50:11
actually in the Marine Corps together
00:50:13
and uh that's why I was helping them out
00:50:15
and basically I'd like boil chicken and
00:50:18
like the food was horrible you know like
00:50:20
and then the the company I started a
00:50:22
company and it started taking off right
00:50:25
and uh we got a call it was lock Le we
00:50:27
got a call from Demi levado um she's
00:50:29
like I I want someone to do nutrition
00:50:31
and my partner's like bro we can't give
00:50:34
Demi levado boiled chicken you know what
00:50:36
I mean like we got to learn how to cook
00:50:38
so then it was funny cuz he's working
00:50:40
with Demi levado and then I get a call
00:50:42
like for Connor and I'm like oh crap I
00:50:44
got to learn how to cook you know and
00:50:46
that's basically how we started learning
00:50:47
so I'd go in and like now I know exactly
00:50:51
you know Joe always go like we go to the
00:50:53
grocery he's like how do you know
00:50:54
exactly what to buy how much to buy for
00:50:56
specific amounts of time and it's like
00:50:57
dud it's taking so long I used to buy
00:51:00
like a refrigerator full of food cuz I
00:51:02
had no idea and then when I'd be done
00:51:03
cooking it'd be like a little meal like
00:51:05
this but the kitchen would be just
00:51:07
wrecked youd see food everywhere like
00:51:10
you know what I mean like but you know
00:51:12
it was a learning process and know we
00:51:13
actually you know as lockart and Le grew
00:51:15
we you know we hired chefs and stuff
00:51:17
like that and started teaching people
00:51:18
not only the nutrition aspect uh but you
00:51:20
know actually how to cook food and
00:51:21
prepare food the proper way so been it's
00:51:24
been a learning process but you know I
00:51:26
don't actually have to do that anymore
00:51:27
I'll go shopping like you know every
00:51:29
other day now you know lot simpler so so
00:51:33
you um you by the way you dropping the
00:51:35
[ __ ] coolest names in the story ever
00:51:37
like just dropping Dei lado like it's
00:51:39
like it's nothing so when we when when
00:51:42
when a celebrity like her calls you like
00:51:44
what is she what's her goal what does
00:51:46
she want is it to lose weight is it just
00:51:47
to be healthier feel better what is it
00:51:49
yeah I you know at the time her her life
00:51:51
coach is one that called you know and
00:51:52
she worked with my my former business
00:51:54
partner Dan Le for a year you know I was
00:51:57
out there for two weeks and I was like
00:51:59
this ain't for me man like I'm not
00:52:02
Hollywood uh what do you mean um with me
00:52:05
what you see is what you get like I'm
00:52:07
like I'm old school like youan you
00:52:09
listen to my voice like if you go to
00:52:11
like could you imagine me in like a
00:52:13
Hollywood scene like nice dressed up
00:52:17
like you
00:52:18
know it just doesn't fit like I don't
00:52:20
fit you know what I mean um my business
00:52:23
partner never had a you never had a hair
00:52:25
out a place like sve you know Swag that
00:52:28
was that was his environment Fighters
00:52:30
that is my environment you know what I
00:52:32
mean like we get down and dirty
00:52:34
disgusting and like let's rock and roll
00:52:35
let's get you know get things done um
00:52:38
and I'm not exactly you know my
00:52:40
girlfriend tell you like not the most
00:52:42
fragile person in the world like giving
00:52:45
advice like you know are you just
00:52:47
telling how it is yeah like dude what
00:52:49
are you doing like what's going on
00:52:50
what's your malfunction you know like
00:52:51
and I'm like oh and with my voice it
00:52:53
always sounds like I'm angry you know
00:52:56
like like I'm not mad at you I'm just
00:52:57
trying to explain it in a voice and like
00:52:59
a version that you could hear me you
00:53:01
know um and especially if I get excited
00:53:03
people are like oh my God like but uh I
00:53:06
don't know I disagree like I you know
00:53:08
you're you're a very likable guy I think
00:53:10
you'd be very motivating to have around
00:53:12
as part of the team did you make Demi
00:53:15
cry did she she did cry was no she
00:53:18
didn't dude I was like oh man I remember
00:53:21
oh so oh dude y she stood in the middle
00:53:25
like I was in the
00:53:27
she just like right like here so I'm in
00:53:30
the kitchen and she stops at the dining
00:53:32
room and just starts crying and I'm like
00:53:35
oh and she goes down to her room and uh
00:53:38
yeah I
00:53:40
remember and uh yeah like I'm like this
00:53:43
is this this I need to yeah I'm not the
00:53:45
right person for this but my my business
00:53:46
partner Dan Le and her were very close
00:53:48
like they they uh they did very well you
00:53:52
know and I you know cele you know Nick
00:53:56
Jon is like we work together like uh Jay
00:53:58
Glazer is a good friend of mine he's
00:53:59
like hey man I need uh you to work with
00:54:02
this guy Nick Jonas and I thought he was
00:54:04
saying Nick jobis for the longest time
00:54:06
and um the friend of mine was like I I
00:54:08
think he said Nick Jonas and I'm like no
00:54:10
I'm pretty sure he said JIS and uh we
00:54:12
showed up to to the um the hotel and you
00:54:16
know she was like no that's him I'm like
00:54:18
I'm like that guy's a little fella you
00:54:20
know like just so but I was I was
00:54:24
teaching he was doing a a a show called
00:54:26
Kingdom and we're doing so we need to do
00:54:27
some like pad work and stuff like that
00:54:29
you know like I'm and working with you
00:54:30
know I just got done working with
00:54:31
Marines working with you know
00:54:33
professional fighters and stuff like
00:54:34
that and me and him were doing pww work
00:54:36
I'm like all right 30 seconds you got it
00:54:37
and and he would just
00:54:39
stop and I'd be like you go he takes
00:54:42
gloves off and grab some
00:54:45
water put them
00:54:47
on and I'm like I don't know what's
00:54:50
going on here this is this is so forward
00:54:53
to me man was so crazy and it was funny
00:54:56
cuz I got I got along really well with
00:54:57
his security team his his uh one of his
00:54:59
head guys was from the SAS right now
00:55:02
when you look at like Navy Seals and you
00:55:04
look at like Recon Marine stuff like
00:55:06
that like we can all brag about stuff
00:55:08
SAS is like that's top quality you know
00:55:12
and I was talking to him stuff and he's
00:55:13
like bro he's like he didn't even talk
00:55:15
to me for like the first month he's like
00:55:16
you're doing way better than most people
00:55:17
and it's funny ni Jones is like he's a
00:55:19
really shy cat I didn't expect that um
00:55:22
really nice guy like d he was he was
00:55:25
amazing to work for work with but like I
00:55:28
said it was different you know n of the
00:55:30
Marines anymore yeah like you know if a
00:55:32
marine did that to me I'd be like what
00:55:33
are you doing you know like you know but
00:55:36
with him I'm like I'm looking at
00:55:38
security like I can't I can't grab like
00:55:40
what am I I'm what am I supposed to do
00:55:42
like I work for him I'm okay all right
00:55:44
man do you know do you but yeah so like
00:55:47
but I think in those Hollywood circles
00:55:49
there's something um quite um appealing
00:55:51
or attractive about that like having
00:55:52
someone like you around or I suppose
00:55:54
like a gogin sort of figure you know
00:55:57
someone that's that's a badass I say
00:55:59
badass but it's definitely like uh it
00:56:02
it's weird because uh Fighters they like
00:56:06
uh like so have you ever heard of jelly
00:56:08
roll jelly roll is one of the last guys
00:56:10
that I worked with before I was working
00:56:11
with uh Tyson so he's a huge musician in
00:56:14
the United States and it's funny cuz
00:56:16
he's a huge MMA fan like he loves the
00:56:18
UFC and it's funny because a lot of UFC
00:56:21
guys love jelly roll they like they love
00:56:23
the the musicians and they love the the
00:56:26
actors and he's great by the way for
00:56:28
anyone that doesn't know country singer
00:56:29
his biggest song is probably the one I
00:56:30
only talk to God when I need a favor
00:56:32
which is a great song yeah yeah yeah
00:56:34
okay yeah yeah you know okay good jelly
00:56:35
roll what what were you doing with jelly
00:56:37
roll tell telling him to cut down on the
00:56:38
jelly I lived with jelly roll uh oh you
00:56:40
lived with him yeah we there six months
00:56:41
we went on tour together and everything
00:56:43
yeah it was it was crazy man it was a
00:56:46
he's a big he's a big dude yeah he's a
00:56:48
big dude yeah were you helping him like
00:56:49
lose weight or yeah we yeah he was doing
00:56:52
good it just it's a very rough lifestyle
00:56:54
like you're going I mean we're on that's
00:56:56
where met my girlfriend like on a it was
00:56:57
on a jelly roll concert you know it was
00:56:59
uh you know concert to concert to
00:57:02
concert to concert and it's very
00:57:03
difficult for him it's like you know
00:57:05
you're going from one concert to the
00:57:06
next concert and it's like okay well
00:57:08
you're driving 15 hours like when are
00:57:09
you going to work out when you you know
00:57:11
like it's it's tough you know so um it
00:57:14
looks like he's actually doing really
00:57:15
well right now like in not only in terms
00:57:17
his not his Finance but his uh his
00:57:19
career he's killing it but he looks like
00:57:21
he's actually losing weight so I haven't
00:57:23
talked to him in a little bit but D he's
00:57:24
a great guy you know great work with
00:57:26
with him as well too but again different
00:57:29
uh definitely a different lifestyle yeah
00:57:31
amazing who else who else you got oh who
00:57:33
else is in the roler no bro I mean if
00:57:36
you name fighter you know if you name
00:57:38
any fighter you know like Jon Jones
00:57:40
Frankie Edgar Dustin pu khabib like we
00:57:43
worked with we've worked with all of
00:57:44
them man um you know team worked with
00:57:48
KSI it was weird um but you know at the
00:57:52
end of the day you know uh I don't think
00:57:55
I don't think me working with
00:57:56
celebrities in is anywhere in the future
00:57:59
for
00:58:00
careers you never know that you never
00:58:03
know you never know seems like a nice
00:58:05
nice sedate lifestyle very easier money
00:58:08
bro I'm telling you that's I think
00:58:09
that's my problem like I I I I thrive in
00:58:13
chaos when things are chaotic I'm like
00:58:15
I'm like calm is a Cuban cigar when
00:58:17
things are calm I'm like I don't know
00:58:19
what to do like what's going on here
00:58:21
like bored yeah I'm like bored but it's
00:58:23
like you know like you're always on edge
00:58:24
like something's going to happen you
00:58:25
know
00:58:26
but uh no you know it's it's been
00:58:29
amazing in this career you know the
00:58:31
things i' I've I've seen and gotten to
00:58:32
do and you know people I've gotten to
00:58:34
work with it's really been an amazing
00:58:35
journey yeah and you mentioned doing um
00:58:37
security for Tommy before this is Tommy
00:58:39
Fury were you were you also working with
00:58:41
him in the leadup to that fight with is
00:58:42
it Jake or Logan which Jake Paul Jake
00:58:45
yeah I worked with him yeah he gave me a
00:58:46
call and I was working with Jelly Roll
00:58:48
and we weren't you know really weren't
00:58:49
making a whole lot of uh progress so
00:58:52
Tommy's like hey man do you have anybody
00:58:54
that you can send out for me I was like
00:58:55
dude I'll do it s person he's like you
00:58:57
serious Yeah man so I flew out uh flew
00:59:00
out to England it was like that Monday
00:59:03
and uh flew out that Monday and then we
00:59:04
we worked and you won got that yeah
00:59:07
there was a tight fight there wasn't it
00:59:08
that was yeah was yeah I was I was
00:59:10
stressing a little bit on
00:59:12
that I me yeah what do you do with him
00:59:14
cuz he looked like he was an impeccable
00:59:16
he's never been in bad shape like from
00:59:17
love Island a few years ago to now he
00:59:19
you he looks like Joshua doesn't he yeah
00:59:21
no I mean he's he's always in good shape
00:59:23
I will tell you this Tommy loves to eat
00:59:25
that kid is a connoisseur of food um you
00:59:28
know like a lot of people watch boxing
00:59:30
videos he watch eating food videos he'll
00:59:32
watch guys like he'll be like dude I
00:59:34
could do that I could totally do that
00:59:35
it'll be like a guy eating 20,000
00:59:37
calories and like a it's insane and I'm
00:59:40
sitting there looking at him like this
00:59:42
you know this scares me is is my
00:59:44
profession you watching this scares me
00:59:46
you understand that right but um he
00:59:49
loves food but when it comes down to it
00:59:51
fight Camp boom he you know he's he's
00:59:52
very disciplined you know obviously he's
00:59:54
he's a fury so you know he knows what he
00:59:55
needs needs to do needs to buckle down
00:59:58
um working with him was was super easy
01:00:00
and it was I think it was more just kind
01:00:02
of the science when I went in there I
01:00:05
just did what I needed like the right
01:00:07
stuff and he dropped weight very quickly
01:00:09
it had nothing to do with lack of
01:00:10
discipline or anything like that it just
01:00:11
had to know what to do and what about
01:00:13
Tyson you have much to do with him uh
01:00:16
yeah I mean I I hope so I mean I worked
01:00:18
with him uh first time work with him was
01:00:20
the uh Wilder 2 fight which I think
01:00:22
that's probably one of the best fights
01:00:23
that he's ever fought um he me and him
01:00:27
really we we got really close during
01:00:29
that that period of time we we clicked
01:00:31
very quickly um but you know we went
01:00:34
through that the dillian white and then
01:00:36
I went to go he retired and I was like
01:00:39
all right man I'm like I'm GNA go work
01:00:40
with jelly because I promised Tyson I'll
01:00:43
work with him over everybody uh we made
01:00:46
we made a little packed and then when he
01:00:47
retired he's said go ahead go work with
01:00:48
jelly and then he got another fight and
01:00:51
he called me and I was like we made I
01:00:53
told you bro like and then uh and then
01:00:56
he called me back for the Nano fight you
01:00:58
know so I went back worked with him with
01:01:00
Nano and um yeah and then he started
01:01:03
work with another nutritionist this last
01:01:05
fight and then um you I've been working
01:01:08
with Joe
01:01:09
so yeah I suppose it's timing for a lot
01:01:12
of these things isn't it yeah timing the
01:01:14
timing's on or it's not yeah I think
01:01:16
timing um fit is another one too you
01:01:18
know what I'm saying like you know if
01:01:19
somebody's ready if you're the right fit
01:01:21
at that point juncture in time you know
01:01:24
it's not necessarily the the smartest
01:01:26
person but the right person you know
01:01:27
what I mean like when when you have a
01:01:28
fight Camp it's The Vibes like you have
01:01:30
somebody that let's say they cook the
01:01:32
best food in the world but they come in
01:01:34
and you just you're not happy when
01:01:36
you're around them you know what I mean
01:01:37
you have that one person your food might
01:01:39
not be the best but like they're around
01:01:40
you just feel better stuff like that
01:01:42
it's it's a lot more to it than just the
01:01:45
the potatoes and the chicken and the
01:01:46
rice you know what I mean yeah you
01:01:49
reference your partner Kai who's here
01:01:51
with us in the room hey Kai um yes so
01:01:54
how did you guys me on on the jelly
01:01:55
rooll oh man how did we
01:01:58
meet she's she's beautiful by the way
01:02:01
she's beautiful I got lucky um I tricked
01:02:05
her tell you
01:02:06
truth does he make you eat potatoes for
01:02:09
breakfast no I I like actually love his
01:02:12
food though she loves his food I pull
01:02:14
her in with the food then we were we're
01:02:17
so a jelly roll
01:02:18
so we're at a concert so we obviously go
01:02:21
to a different uh town every every uh
01:02:24
concert so
01:02:27
this is GNA make me look horrible but I
01:02:29
saw she was in the vicinity like it was
01:02:31
it popped up on my Instagram she just
01:02:33
got done with a modeling shoot like she
01:02:35
was U like one of the the runway models
01:02:37
at a um it was like a what was it called
01:02:39
babe like just like a a fashion week
01:02:42
right and I saw her I was like whoa you
01:02:45
know and I was like hey I dm'd her I was
01:02:47
like dude oh my God I was like I just
01:02:49
left there I was like I can't believe I
01:02:52
missed you and she like she text me back
01:02:54
she's like you were here and I was like
01:02:56
oh my God yeah I can't I didn't go there
01:02:57
I was but I was like d you want to come
01:02:59
to a concert today and uh she was she
01:03:02
was like oh my God she's like I wish I
01:03:04
could but I can't she's like I'm going
01:03:05
home and um I'm leaving tonight so like
01:03:08
crap and it was in Kansas City that we
01:03:11
were at and I was like where do you live
01:03:13
she's like I live in Iowa guess where
01:03:15
our next concert was oh Iowa next day it
01:03:18
was in Iowa I was like no way yeah we
01:03:21
met D and that so he went to I was like
01:03:24
dude you're not going to believe this
01:03:25
but I'm like d want to do a concert
01:03:26
tomorrow like and she came in in Iowa
01:03:29
and then uh yeah we we met clicked and
01:03:31
then and here we are how long you been
01:03:35
together shoot it's been almost was it's
01:03:38
over a year and a half yeah yeah time
01:03:40
FES cool how good and you're both
01:03:42
enjoying your time in NZ oh yeah yeah
01:03:44
it's the best we love it yeah she's
01:03:46
always wanted to travel and since we've
01:03:48
been together she's she's gotten to see
01:03:49
a couple places Saudi Iraq Iraq Saudi
01:03:53
Arabia Ireland England New
01:03:57
Zealand how good have got some quickfire
01:04:00
questions here what do you find most
01:04:01
rewarding about your work what do you
01:04:03
reckon oh God uh what just seeing people
01:04:07
uh just see them Excel you know it's
01:04:09
great to see so many put everything that
01:04:11
they have in something and see it you
01:04:12
know get the the fruits of their labor
01:04:14
you know what I mean like I just I love
01:04:16
being a part of the journey I know you
01:04:18
know I'm a small part of that Journey
01:04:19
but it's like I always wanted to be a
01:04:21
world champion I always want to do stuff
01:04:22
and it's like now I get to do that
01:04:24
through Joe and Tyson and stuff like
01:04:26
that instead of being a world champion
01:04:27
once I get to do every like I was there
01:04:30
you know these are going to be
01:04:30
historical moments yeah and and you
01:04:32
don't have to get punched in the face
01:04:34
anymore I didn't want to say that but
01:04:35
yes 100% bro well I I get the feeling um
01:04:38
cuz to me that sounds like a nightmare
01:04:40
but I get I get the feeling you are a
01:04:42
person that enjoys that sort of
01:04:43
physicality you miss it 100% straight up
01:04:47
I'm not going to lie that's a oh and all
01:04:51
that makes see that makes sense to me
01:04:52
everything that makes sense to me uh
01:04:55
there's other like oh dude yeah uh what
01:04:57
are your goals for the future both
01:04:59
personally and
01:05:00
professionally uh personally I dude I I
01:05:03
want to get one more fight I was
01:05:05
supposed to fight uh we're going to do
01:05:06
this fight with the Dave naika that that
01:05:08
Joe is is co-promoting oh yes him on the
01:05:10
podcast yeah he's a good looking man and
01:05:12
a good fighter a good dude dude's a stud
01:05:14
man absolute stud um yeah an amazing
01:05:17
person but yeah I was we're going to do
01:05:18
the undercard I told you I was like dude
01:05:19
I want to get one more fighting you know
01:05:21
uh my knees are jacked up and everything
01:05:22
for jumping out of planes for 10 years
01:05:24
but um and still box so we were going to
01:05:27
do a boxing match but yeah you know
01:05:29
personally I want to get one more fight
01:05:30
in I want to get like a boxing match in
01:05:32
just just for you know personal
01:05:34
Challenge and stuff like that you know
01:05:35
I'm not planning on to try to do
01:05:38
anything with it just get in there and
01:05:39
and throw some punches get punched a
01:05:41
little bit um you know physically you
01:05:44
know I I think watching Joe become
01:05:47
Undisputed would be the number one goal
01:05:50
in my life right now you know uh that
01:05:52
would that would be it you know and I
01:05:54
know that you you say personal that is
01:05:56
my personal that's like I said he's my
01:05:58
best friend he's like a brother to me
01:05:59
like his family is my family so yeah
01:06:01
like I want to see that um you see what
01:06:04
happens after that you know like I'm not
01:06:05
actually looking this is the first time
01:06:06
in my life I'm not looking for the next
01:06:08
gig yeah good so so f for when you two
01:06:11
get married Joe will be the best man
01:06:14
well I don't know about that so so I'm
01:06:16
I'm I've been married three times so I
01:06:19
don't know force in my in my future
01:06:22
Lucky Number Four I don't know three
01:06:25
time oh yeah wait good on you for giving
01:06:27
it a Craig if it feel you know sa I'm
01:06:30
good at it I am I'm a professional I'm
01:06:32
professional at this right now what what
01:06:34
happened with the what happened with the
01:06:35
first three what happened no no
01:06:38
obviously it was not my fault it
01:06:40
couldn't be my fault as ever you know it
01:06:43
had to be them uh yeah know but I I tell
01:06:46
you like the one thing in life I when I
01:06:48
die I've had plenty of life in me man
01:06:51
you know between marriages between
01:06:54
combat military
01:06:56
fighting traveling it's it's man it's
01:06:59
been an awesome Road how old you what
01:07:00
are you now 41 41 yeah 41 see and you're
01:07:03
still very
01:07:05
young very young hey on the I'm 51 old
01:07:08
as [ __ ] 41's young you've still got a
01:07:10
lot of Life you've done so much hey um I
01:07:13
put on Instagram you coming over and uh
01:07:15
there was a bunch of questions the one
01:07:16
from Joseph earlier about the core um
01:07:19
and a bunch of others as well if you
01:07:21
could only eat one plate for the rest of
01:07:23
your life what would be on that plate me
01:07:26
yeah or just like I suppose for anybody
01:07:27
in general that wants to that has
01:07:29
limited food um options but wants to e
01:07:33
healthy or clean or whatever what would
01:07:35
be on that plan wow the so okay we're
01:07:39
talking I'm G to I'm going to because
01:07:40
there's a lot of like it's so funny
01:07:45
um when you know Joe since he's been
01:07:48
working with me you know like people
01:07:49
will come up and be like they'll ask me
01:07:51
questions like this and Joe's be like
01:07:52
wow there's so many more questions that
01:07:54
like I would be like well what's your
01:07:56
goal because if if your goal is to gain
01:07:58
weight to lose weight is it to lower
01:08:00
blood pressure increase X Y and Z so a
01:08:02
generalized thing you know I would it
01:08:05
would be um I guess like a low calorie
01:08:08
meal like you talk about one food or
01:08:10
just like a a meal one plight so I'm
01:08:13
guessing a meal on a plight that's a
01:08:14
tough one man it's funny it seems like a
01:08:17
su you're like this such a super simple
01:08:19
but I want it like I'm I'm I'm anal
01:08:21
about like uh giving a correct answer on
01:08:24
this well I suppose say like the more
01:08:26
knowledge and information you have the
01:08:27
harder a question it is to answer
01:08:29
absolutely there's so many variables
01:08:31
that are in that in that that question
01:08:34
okay we can skip we'll skip on that one
01:08:35
then um what are a few things that
01:08:37
everyone should stop eating immediately
01:08:39
uh vegetable oil would be a big one it
01:08:41
does have a huge effect on your
01:08:43
digestive system anything obviously
01:08:46
anything fried um if it doesn't grow
01:08:48
don't eat it like I it sounds so simple
01:08:52
but the so simple things create the
01:08:54
biggest benefits and the biggest change
01:08:57
um I'll tell people this like people are
01:09:00
like I you know I have the simplest you
01:09:02
know uh thought process when it comes to
01:09:03
nutrition give the body what it needs
01:09:05
when it needs it if I ask you what your
01:09:07
body's primary source of fuel was a lot
01:09:08
of people think that it's carbohydrates
01:09:10
your body's primary source of fuel isn't
01:09:12
carbohydrates it's fat you know what I'm
01:09:13
saying the only time that your body
01:09:15
Burns carbohydrates as a primary source
01:09:17
of fuel is when you're Anor robic
01:09:18
meaning you're working out you know if
01:09:20
I'm lifting weights or I'm doing sprints
01:09:22
if you're jogging your body's Prim short
01:09:23
fuel is going to be fat but if I ask
01:09:26
somebody how many carbs they had
01:09:27
somebody that's healthy they'd be able
01:09:29
to tell me exactly how many carbs how
01:09:30
many types of carbs what type of carbs
01:09:32
but after what types of fats they
01:09:34
wouldn't be able to tell me what types
01:09:36
of fats how much fat stuff like that so
01:09:38
give the body what it needs when it
01:09:39
needs it your brain's primary source of
01:09:41
fuel is glucose which is sugar so you
01:09:43
need to fuel the liver which fuels the
01:09:45
brain so fructose fruits vegetables it
01:09:48
grows that fuels the brain okay what's
01:09:50
going to fuel the body you know you have
01:09:51
your proteins protein through you know
01:09:53
like protein through glycogenic can turn
01:09:55
into a carbohydrate right whereas a
01:09:57
carbohydrate can't turn into a protein
01:09:59
so eating an excess amount of protein
01:10:02
which has a thermogenic effect like if I
01:10:04
eat 100 calories of protein 40% of those
01:10:06
calories are actually used in Breaking
01:10:08
the protein down so a calorie isn't
01:10:10
necessarily a calorie because it
01:10:11
increases your metabolism just by eating
01:10:13
the protein so Meats vegetables and if
01:10:16
you're not working out there's no reason
01:10:17
to eat rice potatoes but if you do work
01:10:19
out eat rice potatoes post-workout and
01:10:23
you know give the body what it needs
01:10:24
when it needs right what um in George's
01:10:27
opinion what are the superfoods
01:10:29
superfoods
01:10:31
ah I for me things that I always I
01:10:35
include in just about every single
01:10:37
meal
01:10:39
uh I do bone broth would be something
01:10:42
that I incorporate just about every
01:10:44
single meal um spinach is a huge one
01:10:47
spinach or kale is a big one I add
01:10:49
tomatoes a lot um I actually use a lot
01:10:53
of pork I like pork actually more than I
01:10:55
like chicken more nutrient nutrient
01:10:58
dense but not as hard to digest as red
01:11:00
meat um avocado is another big one that
01:11:03
I like
01:11:05
um yeah those would be I'd say those and
01:11:07
then obviously like Ian I say obvious
01:11:10
salmon I mean you got you got to throw
01:11:11
salmon in it Omega-3s oh me too I love
01:11:14
my salmon yes love it yes s in broccoli
01:11:16
bro are you into broccoli or not listen
01:11:19
I would tell you I'm the worst
01:11:19
nutritionist by practice in the world I
01:11:22
hate vegetables like I hate vegetables
01:11:24
bro
01:11:26
yeah sorry um uh uh where are we oh if
01:11:31
you could take one supplement for the
01:11:33
rest of your life what would it be uh
01:11:34
for performance I like for guys you know
01:11:36
uh like beta alanine would be one that I
01:11:38
would I would take for performance all
01:11:40
the time uh in terms of overall health
01:11:42
uh D3 you know that is a huge thing that
01:11:44
I think a lot of people are uh lacking
01:11:47
you know so a D3 supplement um and uh
01:11:50
performance like I said beta alling
01:11:52
that'll definitely help out with
01:11:53
performance muscular endurance
01:11:56
does processed food affect um your
01:11:58
mental health or gut health I think your
01:12:01
gut health drastically yeah I mean
01:12:02
there's there's been tons and tons of
01:12:04
studies
01:12:05
now I'm not one of those guys that's
01:12:07
like don't ever eat process I'm like you
01:12:09
know like the people that are too far
01:12:11
right or too far left on super things
01:12:13
you know what I'm saying like never eat
01:12:14
this and never eat that no um but you
01:12:17
know the
01:12:18
moderate terminology too I think is
01:12:20
overused like moderate like there okay
01:12:23
what what's moderate if um when you work
01:12:25
out your body becomes very insulin
01:12:28
sensitive your body needs carbohydrates
01:12:29
quick fast and in a hurry eating candy
01:12:31
right after you're done with that
01:12:32
workout is going to replenish those
01:12:34
muscles faster than just about anything
01:12:36
uh white bread is probably the best and
01:12:38
that's what the glycemic index is is is
01:12:39
off of that is that proess absolutely is
01:12:41
it going to be beneficial to what you
01:12:42
need 100% so you know it's not a never
01:12:46
or an always I I say so but on the in
01:12:49
the long term you processed food if
01:12:51
that's what your primary source of of uh
01:12:53
nutrition is it's going to have a a real
01:12:55
big impact on your uh on your your gut
01:12:57
binome you're not GNA be able to digest
01:12:59
things very proficiently and it's going
01:13:01
to affect your mental health and
01:13:02
everything else yeah what about Joseph
01:13:04
what would he what's his last meal
01:13:06
before a fight and then after a fight so
01:13:09
that's you know the whole purpose of
01:13:10
fight Camp is to find out exactly you
01:13:12
know like timing so let's say you're
01:13:15
fighting at 7 and we we'll have a meal
01:13:17
let's say uh 4:00 when he spars if we
01:13:20
have a meal 3 hour prior and it's like
01:13:21
ah he felt kind of weak then we have to
01:13:23
go maybe two hours you know what I'm
01:13:24
saying we'll find the the perfect timing
01:13:25
stuff like that so with Joe we do uh
01:13:27
Greek yogurt fruit nuts um and uh
01:13:31
granola and uh Manuka Honey on the top
01:13:33
and that's that's his pre pre-fight
01:13:36
snack pre-s sparring pre-workout he does
01:13:38
that every single workout before every
01:13:40
workout every single sparring match um
01:13:42
and it's usually about two and a half
01:13:43
three hours before right just cuz it's
01:13:45
kind of light it's light yeah his body
01:13:47
works very well some some people like
01:13:49
with uh like the dairy and stuff like
01:13:51
that it would affect him but Joe he
01:13:53
feels light feels clean he justed very
01:13:55
well what about after those last couple
01:13:57
of fights they' been very good fights
01:13:58
does he does he put some bad fuel in the
01:14:00
Lamborghini me and her we get on a plane
01:14:02
we take off literally right after like
01:14:03
we have it down to a science in Saudi
01:14:05
Arabia where like uh he fights and
01:14:09
usually the fight ends at 2 o'clock in
01:14:11
the morning our flight's usually around
01:14:12
4:00 in the morning so we freaking go
01:14:14
right back to the hotel get our stuff so
01:14:16
to answer what he has I'd like to say he
01:14:18
e very clean but I guarantee
01:14:21
you Ro serice I guarantee you that dude
01:14:24
up
01:14:25
but yeah that's cool and what's the um
01:14:28
greatest things you took from being a
01:14:30
marine that's now integrated into your
01:14:31
daily life oh everything oh man it's
01:14:34
it's it's affected me so much I don't
01:14:35
know if anything has affected me more
01:14:37
than being a marine uh discipline Drive
01:14:42
um yeah you know I think the one thing
01:14:45
you know you ever heard that saying you
01:14:46
know there's only three things that
01:14:47
change their Paradigm or our thought
01:14:48
process of a man it's the it's the the
01:14:50
places you see the books you read and
01:14:51
the people you meet being in the Marine
01:14:53
Corps I got to meet so many different
01:14:55
types of people I got to see so many
01:14:57
different places and that opened my mind
01:14:58
up to so many different thought
01:15:00
processes which opened me up and helped
01:15:02
me learn more professionally and and um
01:15:05
you know give me a lot I think better
01:15:07
perspective on on things so I'm uh I'm
01:15:11
always learning always always trying to
01:15:13
learn and you know I think that was you
01:15:14
know something taught to me by the
01:15:16
Marine Corps that you're not the
01:15:17
smartest one in the room so listen up to
01:15:20
others well for a for a crayon ad you
01:15:23
seem pretty smart it's been a really
01:15:25
enjoyable podcast I really appreciate
01:15:26
man it's been fun I really appreciate
01:15:28
you having me no it's cool I could sit
01:15:30
to your Yan all day it's um a
01:15:32
