00:01:06
we replaced him with me much poorer but
00:01:09
I feel ask for the ball as yeah exactly
00:01:12
so you know how to share the ball what
00:01:14
you're saying I'm a distributor you're a
00:01:15
great teammate so welcome to the team uh
00:01:17

00:01:20
red uh Mark Pinkus hated now originally
00:01:25
hated by the right yeah now hated by the
00:01:27
left yeah what's it like now that you
00:01:28
you have you found a balance thereare
00:01:30
yourself it's I have to say sorry to
00:01:33
sound a little Politically Incorrect but
00:01:35
it's kind of nice to be here in DC it
00:01:37
kind of feels like maybe in the 80s if
00:01:40
you went to like a gay convention or
00:01:42
like I'm out you're out seeing people
00:01:44
from San Francisco who are out I'm like
00:01:46
oh there's some people that are gonna
00:01:48
maybe welcome me in their home I'm it's
00:01:50
good I'm making a list yeah fantastic
00:01:52
okay so officially for all the
00:01:54
journalists watching and losing their
00:01:56
minds Mark Fus is coming out today uh
00:01:58
and we support you and we always we had
00:02:00
a feeling I know you all these years you
00:02:02

00:02:04
the retunda also known as the beist our
00:02:08
bestie chth poly HOA in the Overflow
00:02:11

00:02:29

00:02:34
back okay great oh wow look we have Sam
00:02:36
Waltman on the live stream this is
00:02:38

00:02:53
wake up I woke up at 6 that's when did
00:02:55
you go to bed I went to bed at 1 yeah
00:02:59
see a and I had to go and go through a
00:03:01
whole rig roll get our wristbands and we
00:03:04
are now in the Rotunda I'm going to just
00:03:05
show you guys what it looks like here
00:03:07
hold on one second um wait he's in the
00:03:09
how do you do this yeah that's the legit
00:03:11
place he's in
00:03:15
chamber all right folks so we're trying
00:03:17
to get a view
00:03:18
from not an easy thing to do here but
00:03:21
there's the uh the retunda this is chth
00:03:24
this is uh essentially the Overflow room
00:03:26
who's there he can't hear you J oh
00:03:30
uh yeah there's the Rotunda is basically
00:03:33
for the cabinet and the world leaders
00:03:35
and then all of the other sort of folks
00:03:37
are here Sam is here I'm here we saw
00:03:40
Theo Von we saw Logan Paul we saw all
00:03:42
kinds of people walking around so we're
00:03:43
gonna try to grab some people from time
00:03:45
to time but we have about an hour to
00:03:47
kill before uh the whole ceremony starts
00:03:50
what do you think how how's the weekend
00:03:52
been for you it's good energy people
00:03:54
optimistic yeah what um what's been your
00:03:57
favorite part of the weekend so far
00:04:00
uh it's like a tech reunion it really is
00:04:03
Right been fun yeah I thought Peter's
00:04:04
party was great Peter party was great
00:04:06
Peter's party was excellent and then
00:04:07
yesterday did you go to the I went to
00:04:09
the yeah there last night it's a little
00:04:11
chaotic was a little chaotic it was good
00:04:13
yeah and then tonight you think you're
00:04:14
gonna no I'm gonna I hit my social
00:04:16
battery Li I'm gonna tonight what about
00:04:18
you I we were very committed to going
00:04:21
and I'm just like it's it's exhausting
00:04:23
my dopamine levels are a little low I
00:04:26
need a little uh I need a little founder
00:04:28
mode or something it's like a lot of
00:04:29
people a lot of yeah a lot of social you
00:04:31
know
00:04:32
amazing there are seven I guess still
00:04:35
living Medal of Honor
00:04:37
recipients and they walk around and you
00:04:39
can see
00:04:40
their it is very cool that is probably
00:04:44
one of the coolest things I've seen and
00:04:45
every it's like it's like Moses the Seas
00:04:48
for these guys super interesting people
00:04:50
around it's incredible yeah
00:04:53
um can you give us Jam can you give us a
00:04:56
view can you give us a view yeah let me
00:04:59
try to give you a
00:05:01
VI the only reporter on site at at the
00:05:04
capital today yeah in the build in the
00:05:06
inside no other reporter are
00:05:09
there can you walk around see it yeah
00:05:11
can you walk
00:05:12

00:05:15
walk around I was we were waiting I was
00:05:17
trying to get sky and Luke no as well
00:05:20
that's
00:05:22
here good morning feed your husband
00:05:25
otherwise he's gonna get angry
00:05:30
I fed him and I have chocolate in my
00:05:32
pocket she brought me some she brought
00:05:34
me some chocolate and some nuts so
00:05:37
that's
00:05:38
good
00:05:41
um I mean it's it's very it's very it's
00:05:44
very chaotic and what did they tell you
00:05:46
one one hour until you sit down and the
00:05:50
swearing in ceremony
00:05:53
begins exactly we're gonna start around
00:05:55
12 let me uh let me just walk around and
00:05:57
see Jam can you take us to the fast food
00:05:59
bu
00:06:00

00:06:03
is there fast food in the
00:06:04
runda what's that Jason's asking if
00:06:07
there's fast food in the Rotunda we in
00:06:09
the no it's called emancipation Hall
00:06:12
that's where we are emancipation Hall so
00:06:15
you can kind of see like we're all
00:06:18
yeah guy wearing a top hat the dude
00:06:20
what's with the dude with the top
00:06:22
hat all right give us a random person
00:06:25
just ask a question to a random person
00:06:27
who's there is there any yeah any anyone
00:06:30
else there that you know that you can
00:06:31
grab jamat or that you can just check in
00:06:33
with
00:06:36
folks service is a little choppy here
00:06:38
hold on I'm just gonna say hi to log
00:06:40
Paul hold
00:06:43
on we we had a little technical glitch
00:06:47
hold on it's pretty good I mean it it's
00:06:50
odd this view of chth is up the nose
00:06:54
regrettable he's not for the cameraman
00:06:56
here here we go Alex guys they can't
00:06:58
hear you is it is that
00:07:03
oh that's Jake
00:07:05
technically so funny if you could um hey
00:07:10
uh chth that was Jake Paul that was Jake
00:07:12
Paul FY Cham ask Jake Paul if I could
00:07:14
have my two hours back from the fight
00:07:18
any chance I can get those two hours of
00:07:20
my life back they're all the same to you
00:07:22
my
00:07:23
God that's so funny ask if it was
00:07:27
rig yeah take us back to Logan Paul ask
00:07:29
him how his go back to Jake Paul ask him
00:07:32
if the fight was
00:07:33
rigged I'm pretty sure I saw Evander
00:07:35
held I should go say toand I'm sure
00:07:37
you're gonna get that one wrong too and
00:07:39
that's gonna be even more embarrassing
00:07:40
Mike Tyson yeah like Mike Tyson wow uh
00:07:43
well we're off to a strong start here
00:07:45
our field reporter has no sense of pop
00:07:48
culture or how to operate a
00:07:53
camera complete utter disaster I saw I
00:07:56
saw Theo earlier he really he he really
00:07:59
look rough around the edges like he
00:08:00
needed a coffee or something Jam I
00:08:03
Really um appreciate you telling us to
00:08:05
hand you the ball and you've got the
00:08:06
show but I think you need to grab
00:08:08
someone to talk to because all we're
00:08:10
seeing is your face or flip the flip the
00:08:11
phone around bro yeah literally only
00:08:14
chamath could make this about Jamal his
00:08:18
face today the president's getting
00:08:19
inaugurated tell you about my
00:08:22
face forget the
00:08:25
president aash when you see this can you
00:08:28
guys stop getting these cheap be
00:08:30
replacements for me
00:08:33
please hey I remember in eth grade I got
00:08:36
invited to like the cool kids party and
00:08:37
then no one wanted to talk to me and I
00:08:39
had no one to talk to that's what this
00:08:41
feels
00:08:42
like we had there's a table at the end
00:08:45
of the cafeteria where yeah you and free
00:08:47
birg can sit him Sam Alman just being
00:08:49
like we saw cool people yeah wow we're
00:08:53
off to such a strong start here um an
00:08:56
unlimited number of powerful and
00:08:58
interesting celebrities that you will
00:09:00
not get to hear from today an incredible
00:09:03
array from Sports to the Arts politics
00:09:06
to science none of which you'll be able
00:09:07
to see but enjoy close-ups of Cham Cham
00:09:11
flip the camera around bro we want to
00:09:13
see we want to see the room white teeth
00:09:15
beautiful
00:09:17
tee how do I how do I do
00:09:21
that it only points one way it just
00:09:25
literally just flipped the entire go
00:09:26
back go back to somehow he grew Facebook
00:09:29
from 4 million uses to 400 million
00:09:31
somehow that occurred on his watch he
00:09:34
still hasn't figured zoom out there
00:09:35
wasn't video back then no no that was
00:09:38
not Logan Paul that was Jake paulan Paul
00:09:40
with Jake Paul yes you did Jak Paul okay
00:09:43
it's okay it's good thing you're talking
00:09:45
is ear yeah all right uh you want to
00:09:48
flip the camera around there's a little
00:09:50
button or just turn the camera
00:09:52
physically just physically turn the pH
00:09:54
around how do that you just physically
00:09:56
face the camera the other way just turn
00:09:58
your camera around
00:10:00
that's good that's better that's
00:10:01
terrible turn it around and face the
00:10:03
crowd just turn the phone
00:10:05
around look at the back no not you the
00:10:09
camera literally flip the phone over
00:10:11

00:10:13

00:10:16
gonna show us describe it oh dude he
00:10:18
told us one of the Paul Brothers he know
00:10:19
Paul brother yeah wow Paul seven
00:10:23
Congressional the Grant Cardone I saw oh
00:10:27
great came up and said hi what what a
00:10:31
lineup I would have loved I would have
00:10:33
loved to meet some of them but Jamal can
00:10:35
you can you just maybe grab someone
00:10:37
we're gonna cut back to the live feed
00:10:39
here you oh here we go okay oh there's a
00:10:42
celebrity that's a celebrity there's a
00:10:44
celebrity
00:10:47
skyra on the how many people are on this
00:10:50
live stream by the way eight people okay
00:10:52
to we are gonna cut back to the studio
00:10:55
let us know when you've got a real
00:10:56
celebrity to talk with oh sky sky
00:11:00
hurt ask him a
00:11:04
question Luke Luke Luke okay wow great
00:11:08
there's
00:11:09
Luke here cting Trump's inauguration I'm
00:11:13
so glad to be here with you guys I'm
00:11:17
glad to see what our country could do
00:11:19
with with all the people that are up wow
00:11:22
give him the light Ander great again
00:11:25
okay thank you Luke well there it is
00:11:27
folks venture this what happens when
00:11:30
Valley go to the DC
00:11:33
unbelievable I love that the only people
00:11:35
we can talk to are others I don't know
00:11:37
but we're gonna cut off now jamat we
00:11:39
love you have a great time text me when
00:11:41
you've got someone and we'll hop back on
00:11:43
the zoom I'm Gonna Leave the zoom open
00:11:46
okay okay thank you okay bye bye okay
00:11:52
um okay here we are where oh that's our
00:11:54
his view of us oh that's your view of us
00:11:56
yeah you got have to end that all right
00:11:58
everybody um I guess there were a series
00:12:00
of Pardons today occurred yeah yeah uh
00:12:03
are we back on the room any thoughts on
00:12:05
the Pardons and maybe uh any people you
00:12:09
would like to get see a par in like a
00:12:10
non-traditional paron out there any any
00:12:14
folks in the entertainment industry or
00:12:17
comedy who deserve a pardon that's a
00:12:19
good question I feel like we all
00:12:21
got pardons in entertainment with the
00:12:24
Trump win that's the best thing about
00:12:26
this is who's who's still in now it's
00:12:27
like the Liberals are going to get
00:12:29
thrown in I feel like got it who are you
00:12:31
pardoning wow um well I would I would
00:12:34
definitely pardon chamath for that
00:12:36
incredibly brutal live stream that's
00:12:39
definitely because I think they're GNA
00:12:41
have a special committee I think they
00:12:42
literally just had a special Council for
00:12:44
him so yeah
00:12:46
yeah Pinkus anybody would you like to
00:12:49
par in Reed Hoffman anybody in your
00:12:51
circle you'd like to par in uh
00:12:55
Zuckerberg uh Zuck could probably use a
00:12:59
pardon I mean just just to be safe
00:13:02
probably good to just have one in his
00:13:03
back pocket well in all seriousness you
00:13:06
know our industry when we got into it 30
00:13:09
years ago politics was not part of this
00:13:12
occasionally I don't know McCain would
00:13:14
show up at a an event and it was kind of
00:13:16
an oddity and people were just not
00:13:18
interested and now it's become an
00:13:20
obsession um what's your take on the
00:13:23
best case scenario for this presidency
00:13:26
for this term what's the best thing that
00:13:28
could happen
00:13:31
well I guess the best thing that could
00:13:34
happen is I think probably delivering on
00:13:38
Doge I think that that the
00:13:41
potential disrup positive disruption
00:13:44
there is that people could end up
00:13:47
actually starting to have confidence in
00:13:49
our government and and I think all of
00:13:52
the mainstream media and all the haters
00:13:54
I just think it's going to be hard to
00:13:56
hate if if if you get anything near the
00:13:58
scenario like melee has shown I in such
00:14:02
fast time I I think it it would just I
00:14:06
think it'd be amazing for the country on
00:14:10
on a lot of fronts I I I think people
00:14:12
are going to have to acknowledge it if
00:14:14
if Doge actually delivers and and we
00:14:17
need them to that's who needs a pardon
00:14:20
the bring them back bring back bring
00:14:22
back this guy's running for the
00:14:24
governor of Ohio nobody's goingon to
00:14:25
vote for his brown ass bring him back to
00:14:27
Doge that's what we need
00:14:29
well I mean what you're saying is who
00:14:31
knows how to save money better than us
00:14:33
exactly and if you're going to do it we
00:14:36
got an Indian guy that's we're in kind
00:14:38
of multitasking everywhere yeah um what
00:14:41
happened we clearly can't I mean just
00:14:44
run the zoom what happened with vake
00:14:47
over the last couple days freeberg it
00:14:48
seems like he's any insight what's the
00:14:51
buzz is he out at Doge that seems to be
00:14:54
what I saw in the headlines and what are
00:14:56
your thoughts on that and what are your
00:14:57
thoughts largely on Doge because let's
00:14:59
be honest you've been pounding the drum
00:15:00
about smaller government for the last
00:15:02
two years on the I'm more disappointed
00:15:03
than not in the conversations we had
00:15:05
this week with Congressional
00:15:07
Representatives um regarding Doge it
00:15:10
seems to be not just a disdain in some
00:15:13
cases kind of a masked disdain for the
00:15:15
concept of Doge but just a very
00:15:18
skeptical um refrain about it it's not
00:15:20
you know like Ted Cruz even yesterday
00:15:22
who claims he's a small government
00:15:24
Republican said I can't wait to hear
00:15:26
their big bold ideas the the the the
00:15:29
point he made is that anytime you try
00:15:31
and cut spending someone it's causing
00:15:33
harm to some group to some voting
00:15:35
constituency and ultimately the
00:15:37
politicians are going to end up losing
00:15:39
voters if they say yes to those things
00:15:42
this has always been the problem with
00:15:43
democracy over the long run anyway
00:15:45
everyone votes themselves all the money
00:15:46
ultimately and that's effectively what's
00:15:48
been going on so to actually go in and
00:15:50
cut trillions of dollars of money that's
00:15:52
going into some business or some
00:15:53
individual's pockets is going to cause
00:15:55
those businesses and those individuals
00:15:56
to say no thank you I'm not going to
00:15:58
vote for you anymore my current
00:15:59
representative because you voted for
00:16:00
this so everyone will lose their elected
00:16:02
positions so I think without term limits
00:16:04
without the cycling of politicians we're
00:16:06
not going to see real legislative change
00:16:09
now what can they do administratively
00:16:11
there's a lot of ideas a lot of the
00:16:13
rumors and theories I've heard and we'll
00:16:15
see what gets executed what are what are
00:16:17
some of the rumors people have heard
00:16:18
about come back to the office or you or
00:16:19
you lose your job that they can mandate
00:16:21
that to non-unionized agencies where you
00:16:24
don't have a union that's got a contract
00:16:25
that says they're allowed to work from
00:16:26
home there's a lot of folks that don't
00:16:28
have that contract where they want to
00:16:29
say come to the office as an easy way to
00:16:31
start as a way for them to start to kind
00:16:32
of you know have a right to remove
00:16:34
federal workers and then not move fast
00:16:36
to replace them is one Theory one rumor
00:16:38
of something that they could do and this
00:16:39
would be the uh what we call in the
00:16:41
industry the gentleman's riff so a
00:16:42
reduction in Workforce where people have
00:16:45
gotten used to staying at home and maybe
00:16:47
they're working hard maybe they're not
00:16:48
who knows but if forced to come back to
00:16:50
the office you will get some attrition
00:16:52
you've seen this yeah oh yeah yeah how
00:16:55
much attrition do you get actually
00:16:57
because it seems like most people just
00:16:58
be like all right well I need I don't
00:16:59
want to lose my job so I'll come in I
00:17:02
mean in the I would say in the tech
00:17:04
industry you would expect 20% but in the
00:17:05
um there's a there's another rumor that
00:17:08
I've heard I don't know if it's been
00:17:09
publicly talked about that there's a lot
00:17:11
of workers who are working more than one
00:17:13
job and so they're like working in Ohio
00:17:18
yeah where it's more affordable to live
00:17:20
and their office is in DC and then
00:17:22
they're doing other stuff locally and
00:17:24
the accountability Factor might not be
00:17:25
as strong when they work remotely in
00:17:27
Ohio so by and and there's also this
00:17:30
idea that get them to sign I've heard
00:17:32
this publicly that if you can get
00:17:34
Workers to sign a commitment to working
00:17:37
one job that could also have an effect
00:17:39
so well you would think it's unethical
00:17:41
to work two jobs from home and there's a
00:17:44
great subreddit I think it's overworked
00:17:45
or
00:17:46
overemployed uh overemployed probably
00:17:48
overemployed and so people in that
00:17:51
subreddit are trading strategies of how
00:17:53
to be on two Zoom calls like your daily
00:17:55
standup at the same time my sister had
00:17:58
three fulltime jobs at one point amazing
00:18:00
two in a Consulting all just and nobody
00:18:02
knew they they didn't know nobody knew
00:18:04
she was Triple working she was killing
00:18:05
it yeah working from home yeah what
00:18:08
about their opport okay well um and know
00:18:10
now you can
00:18:12
file sister sorry sorry uh just kned on
00:18:16
your sister well done content what you
00:18:18
want me to do ki trying to get content
00:18:20
let's talk uh you have something to add
00:18:22
to that oh just when you think about
00:18:24
what can they do in their control
00:18:27
there's uh seven 0% of the labor spend
00:18:30
is for outside contractors so I'm
00:18:33
curious how far they can push that
00:18:36
because they might not have to go
00:18:38
through all the legal labor side to to
00:18:40
cut that I think it's 1.2 trillion total
00:18:43
spent on labor and so 70% of that 800
00:18:49
billion or so 900 billion that they from
00:18:52
top down could go after but they said
00:18:54
yeah the the other option um that
00:18:56
they've publicly talked about in their
00:18:59
letter that they published a couple
00:19:00
months ago a couple weeks ago now was um
00:19:03
if they drop regulation that's not
00:19:05
legislated so there's no law that says
00:19:07
you have to do this regulation as they
00:19:09
cut back on that regulation they no
00:19:11
longer need to spend money on doing that
00:19:14
regulation and so then they have a right
00:19:16
even though there might be people money
00:19:19
flowing they have a right to stop that
00:19:20
money flowing and saying we're not going
00:19:21
to regulate this thing anymore in this
00:19:23
way that's going to be another way to
00:19:24
cut they talked about this in their open
00:19:26
letter Elon and and Vivic I saw saw a Vi
00:19:29
at the um Crypt ball yeah let's go to
00:19:32
the crypto Ballo and I had I had a good
00:19:34
chat with him he was very friendly but
00:19:36
it he is um pretty serious it sounds
00:19:39
like uh talking about doing this this
00:19:43
Governor run and you know if you want to
00:19:45
have a position that ultimately gives
00:19:47
you a stepping stone to maybe having
00:19:49
influence and doing big things you know
00:19:51
K you do any uh impersonations because I
00:19:53
can teach you to do a aigue very quickly
00:19:56
please just do an Obama impersonation
00:19:58
that's what he's it's just it's perfect
00:20:01
my wife always says that actually he's
00:20:02
trying to do literally trying to do
00:20:04
Obama so actually the reason I don't
00:20:06
like him not on do just because this was
00:20:07
his whole platform was making government
00:20:10
more efficient but my my thing I think
00:20:12
his issue is he when he talks to guys
00:20:14
like y'all who are smart you see what he
00:20:16
really thinks but when he tries to talk
00:20:17
to like regular people I think he's so
00:20:20
much smarter than them he's like well
00:20:21
they want to hear about the Deep State
00:20:23
and the NFL being fixed and that's when
00:20:26
people lose him so I don't think he's
00:20:28
going to be able to win governorship but
00:20:29
you're saying he like talks down he
00:20:31
doesn't know how to talk down even he
00:20:32
just like he's like well instead of
00:20:34
saying hey there's too many government
00:20:35
jobs and we should cut them he's like
00:20:37
the Deep State runs everything and then
00:20:39
I think regular people are turned off
00:20:40
because it sounds so conspiratorial but
00:20:42
he actually just means cut the
00:20:44
bureaucracy that's all he means but he
00:20:46
calls it the Deep State because he
00:20:47
thinks that's what they want JD Vance
00:20:49
has similar rhetoric does he do a better
00:20:51
job do you think have you seen him talk
00:20:52
much yeah jie Vance I don't think is
00:20:55
like I just to me he doesn't have any
00:20:56
Charisma really I'm not grabbed by him
00:20:58
when he talks V I actually think could
00:21:00
be more charismatic because he's doing
00:21:02
Obama right but it just I think he can't
00:21:05
communicate or like after the Super Bowl
00:21:07
when the Chiefs win he's like the NFL is
00:21:08
rigged I'm gonna put a stop to this I
00:21:10
think he thinks that's what people want
00:21:11
to hear yeah he was on Twitter what did
00:21:13
you think of his um tweet about we need
00:21:16
to have you know the problem with
00:21:18
American this is like this is like
00:21:20
honest thing he said instead of calling
00:21:21
it The Last Supper you should call it
00:21:23
the last tweet yeah that was like you
00:21:25
that was like it like the Ender I you're
00:21:27
Indian and that that he actually feels
00:21:29
that I don't necessarily agree to be
00:21:31
honest or whatever but like that I knew
00:21:33
was what he really thinks he was a kid
00:21:35
that probably worked his ass off that's
00:21:37
why he thinks he's successful and it is
00:21:38
but he's like well that's just do that
00:21:40
every successful person says just just
00:21:42
do what I do do what I did right but
00:21:44
that at least even if we didn't like it
00:21:45
that was the one time he was honest that
00:21:47
was the one time he's just saying what
00:21:49
he feels and letting it go right and
00:21:51
then for people who didn't follow that I
00:21:52
don't know if did you see the Tweet
00:21:53
where he was like is the essence of the
00:21:55
Tweet correct me if you guys think I get
00:21:57
it wrong here uh we'll put it in we pull
00:21:59
it up yeah it was
00:22:01
essentially um the problem is American
00:22:04
kids are lazy don't study enough they
00:22:06
spend too much time playing jock in high
00:22:08
school instead they want to be the jock
00:22:09
it was kind of yeah combination of the
00:22:13
American he not authentic on Twitter no
00:22:16
he I think he's trying to communicate in
00:22:19
a way that he thinks will understand it
00:22:20
but then he just doesn't know how to do
00:22:22
that where I think if he's just himself
00:22:23
and talks at a high level the people who
00:22:26
get it which would be most people would
00:22:27
be like oh oh I like what he's saying
00:22:29
that makes a lot of sense but it just
00:22:31
gets lost anytime he goes on like a
00:22:33
different podcast that's not you guys or
00:22:35
I think flagrant we were able to get a
00:22:37
real sense of who he was but before you
00:22:39
guys met him didn't you what what did
00:22:41
you say to him you which one I gave him
00:22:44
a couple good I sent him a fast ball or
00:22:46
twoo yeah he said some crazy to him
00:22:48
but it's like that's what you think of
00:22:49
him when you don't get to talk to him
00:22:51
yeah I mean I just wanted to clarify
00:22:53
with him because he was very early on
00:22:55
the trans issue yeah and I was just like
00:22:57
hey do you have problem with gay people
00:22:59
yeah it's a you know two-part question
00:23:00
and he said no and said okay do you have
00:23:02
a problem with trans people and if so
00:23:04
what are the issues and I thought
00:23:05
actually handled it pretty eloquently
00:23:07
and he nailed in some ways exactly what
00:23:10
happened with the American populace
00:23:12
which is they don't have a problem with
00:23:14
any trans adult anybody dressing how
00:23:16
they want pick your hair color pick your
00:23:18
gender pick your name change it every
00:23:20
week but I think any parents I've spoken
00:23:24
to are very uncomfortable with the
00:23:26
concept of doing surgery on a child to
00:23:28
change their agenda yeah or giving them
00:23:30
any kind of hormones because it's
00:23:31
irreversible and your brain is still
00:23:33
yeah they and I think they wound up
00:23:35
spending what $150 million on one ad
00:23:38
which was the
00:23:39
comma um she's for they them that was
00:23:41
the greatest political ad I've ever seen
00:23:43
in my life why why was that one so
00:23:45
effective you think I think it just it
00:23:46
just perfectly encapsulated what so many
00:23:48
people were feeling which is these
00:23:51
people on the far and I don't think I I
00:23:53
truly think I'm moderate but like you
00:23:55
watch the far-left kind of hijack the
00:23:58
way I think the early tea party kind of
00:24:00
hijacked to the right the far left kind
00:24:02
of hijacked it and that's what became
00:24:04
Democratic party and so saying Kamala is
00:24:07
for them those extreme people not even
00:24:09
they them the extreme people which
00:24:11
calling them they them or calling call
00:24:12
Kamala is for them Trump is for you or
00:24:14
us or whatever it was it was like oh I
00:24:16
mean anybody that's remotely in the
00:24:20
middle is going to feel pushed a little
00:24:21
bit to the right right and then the the
00:24:24
cherry on top of it was the reaction was
00:24:27
on the breakfast Club oh so you know you
00:24:30
got Charlemagne the God and everybody
00:24:32
making these grimaces like what you know
00:24:34
that's whack like why yeah that was also
00:24:36
so smart yes pulling from having
00:24:39
Charlamagne say I don't agree with kamla
00:24:40
spending money on this right that's the
00:24:42
kamla guy so right yeah so smart um
00:24:45
let's talk about crypto a pivot to
00:24:47
crypto anything to add on this issue
00:24:49
well now that you're Unshackled and your
00:24:51
Chief of Staff pissed me by way he's
00:24:54
really upset with me about that yeah um
00:24:57
okay for those who don't know Mar came
00:24:58
on the show and I was asking Mark like
00:25:00
hey you know you're kind of um pretty
00:25:03
effervescent and going for it now uh on
00:25:05
the socials and he's like yeah my chief
00:25:07
of staff was kind of throttling me and
00:25:09
you know kind of polishing me on the
00:25:11
edges but you know once I got rid of my
00:25:13
chief of staff essentially you know I
00:25:14
became my authentic staff and I think
00:25:16
probably people know who he is and you
00:25:18
you had to make the clarification to be
00:25:20
clear he he wasn't even my chief we
00:25:23
worked together for nine years he wasn't
00:25:24
my chief of staff at that point he had
00:25:27
transitioned to being a co-founder of an
00:25:30
effort that I've been on but but still
00:25:32
advising me and I said to him I think
00:25:35
that you're right half the time and
00:25:37
that's a lot like that's a big number
00:25:39
you're really smart and everything you
00:25:41
said was smart and so it did and he was
00:25:43
kind of risk averse so I was like I I
00:25:47
listen to him because it was let's go to
00:25:49
the um to our little um oh I trans issue
00:25:53
I did want to add the advertisement I'm
00:25:55
curious whether
00:25:58
maybe you guys already all agree with
00:25:59
this we're we we have a new way of doing
00:26:04
politics after this election that
00:26:06
there's only authentic like only long
00:26:08
form and you you're gonna have you're
00:26:11
even the Democrats aren't GNA be able to
00:26:13
feel the candidate that isn't the full
00:26:17
color and and I wonder if this is even
00:26:19
going to go so far as people starting to
00:26:21
like overdo it on all the imperfection
00:26:24
side like no I'm more imperfect I'm more
00:26:27
of a up person
00:26:29
am but I just wonder whether this thing
00:26:33
is going to be the newm it's definitely
00:26:35
the new Norm don't you think freberg
00:26:37
I've always felt like the worst thing
00:26:39
about money in politics is the fact that
00:26:42
money actually affects politics and that
00:26:45
says that like consumers or voters can
00:26:48
be influenced by an ad the fact that
00:26:50
these people buy ads like do any of us
00:26:52
like look at ads and buy stuff from ads
00:26:54
anymore it's crazy to me that they'll
00:26:56
spend a billion dollars on TV radio and
00:26:59
print ads and Internet ads and people
00:27:01
change their vote like that's the
00:27:03
craziest thing to me I don't understand
00:27:05
like I would never look at an app but do
00:27:06
you think it works that people change
00:27:08
well it must work and that's the problem
00:27:10
and I think like maybe what this is is a
00:27:13
solution to that problem which is a very
00:27:15
positive feature of like you know
00:27:18
citizen journalism podcasting
00:27:21
distributed media the inter the open
00:27:23
internet is that it enables that like
00:27:26
authentic voice to win out over the paid
00:27:28
media yeah and then the paid media I
00:27:30
really do hope is worthless and if it's
00:27:33
worthless and spending money on ads no
00:27:35
longer changes votes then people will
00:27:37
stop spending money on ads and they'll
00:27:39
stop raising money to to to go buy ads
00:27:42
you know with the money that they raise
00:27:43
so that they can get the whoever raises
00:27:45
the most money can buy the most ads it's
00:27:47
the craziest being less beholden to
00:27:49
whatever super pack or whatever and
00:27:50
whatever gave them the money and so I
00:27:52
really do hope that what you're saying
00:27:53
and the power of the internet even
00:27:55
though it's like 27 years a little bit
00:27:57
late here when I think we all thought it
00:27:59
was going to happen like 97 it's like oh
00:28:00
my God the internet's going to
00:28:01
democratize access to information we're
00:28:03
all going to have access it's going to
00:28:05
change the world democracy will run
00:28:07
rampant across the Earth it's going to
00:28:09
be amazing that hasn't really happened
00:28:11
if you're still spending ads and you can
00:28:12
control votes and you can buy votes with
00:28:13
money hopefully this is the the change
00:28:16
and the internet really is working um
00:28:18
and that would be pretty powerful and
00:28:19
pretty amazing it'd be amazing if if the
00:28:21
money in politics thing just got solved
00:28:23
by the internet totally everyone hating
00:28:25
X yeah yeah what we're talking about
00:28:27
here really is is earned media versus
00:28:29
paid media and if you look at Donald
00:28:31
Trump he can get on a live stream he can
00:28:34
do three hours I mean talk about it like
00:28:36
a if you're as a standup you watch that
00:28:39
guy I mean unreal unreal it's just
00:28:41
amazing you know to do a tight five
00:28:44
tight 10 you might work a year on that
00:28:46
just you know in the beginning of your
00:28:47
career he's been ad liing and just you
00:28:51
know reading crowds he's so good at
00:28:54
crowd work he can he can look at the
00:28:55
crowd and know this time I need to lean
00:28:58
to crypto and he his reaction when he
00:29:01
was doing the fire Gary Gensler and
00:29:03
we're going to do Bitcoin I don't know
00:29:05
if you saw that when he was at that
00:29:06
Bitcoin convention he said yeah and you
00:29:08
know G the reign of Gary Gensler is
00:29:10
gonna be over and the crowd went nuts
00:29:11
and he's like let me state it again yeah
00:29:14
we're gonna and he just doubles down on
00:29:16
it triples down on it it's just such a
00:29:18
comedic Instinct isn't it yeah oh it's
00:29:20
unbelievable he can he's socially people
00:29:24
make fun of him he's socially maybe the
00:29:26
smartest human being I've ever been
00:29:27
around like the we got to interview him
00:29:30
in person which was awesome oh so we had
00:29:32
a lighting setup like this this is how
00:29:33
funny and quick witted he is and you
00:29:35
know we had these lighting setups
00:29:36
there's big for people who can't see it
00:29:38
it's got like three prongs and we're on
00:29:40
a couch like this one lighting setup is
00:29:42
next to me and he's going to have to
00:29:44
walk by it and one of the Secret Service
00:29:46
people tripped on a light like a leg so
00:29:48
he said hey just make sure president
00:29:49
Trump does watches out for that so I
00:29:51
said okay so I say to president Trump
00:29:53
and I meet him hey nice to meet you by
00:29:54
the way watch out for that that lighting
00:29:56
stand I don't want you to trip on it and
00:29:57
he goes oh that would have been bad that
00:29:58
would have been a disaster I tell you
00:30:00
Joe Biden would have tripped on that
00:30:01
thing oh camera's not even on and first
00:30:04
words he says boom in and it really is
00:30:06
like as a as a comedian you're looking
00:30:09
for the thread of what's GNA get the
00:30:11
laugh and for him it just he he
00:30:13
processes it so fast and he drops it it
00:30:15
and then just this is why you know like
00:30:17
I don't want to make this a uh vake
00:30:19
bashing you know event here but I think
00:30:22
VI perfected over time doing what Obama
00:30:25
did which is behind a teleprompter and
00:30:27
talking with a Cadence that kind of
00:30:29
hypnotizes people but that is not that
00:30:32
it's not funny it's not interesting um
00:30:34
by the way Jason so we have the
00:30:37
live so and this is so like for the
00:30:39
folks watching at home on YouTube and X
00:30:41
they're actually seeing this along with
00:30:43
us so the the live inauguration feed is
00:30:46
kind of coming in so from kind of this
00:30:47
is the motorcade coming in I assume here
00:30:49
and uh it looks like president-elect
00:30:51
Trump and President Biden are on route
00:30:53
to the US capital let's talk a little
00:30:55
bit about uh crypto we have friend oh do
00:30:58
you want do you want to do a quick shout
00:30:59
out to the folks that paid for all this
00:31:01
oh actually yeah like we don't do ads on
00:31:03
the show but we actually had to build a
00:31:04
set here in DC and do the events that we
00:31:06
did to like um do the interviews with is
00:31:09
him one of the sponsors here so him is
00:31:11
one of those sponsors well here I got a
00:31:12
great integration here okay go go so him
00:31:13
is breaking news story suep uh madra
00:31:16
he's he's atep on Twitter let's get him
00:31:18
some followers My Guy um hims house the
00:31:23
uh which I guess is somehow related to
00:31:25
hims um has a breaking news story right
00:31:28
now the FDA is to allow Compounders to
00:31:30
sell TDE TDE is how it's pronounce yeah
00:31:33
yeah for the duration of the Offa versus
00:31:36
FDA lawsuit so uh if you are fat like I
00:31:39
was might I suggest you go to Hy and get
00:31:42
semaglutide or one of these
00:31:44
gp1s and uh lose 40 pounds and look
00:31:47
great on camera is that what you did
00:31:49
well I did fasting okay I lost I did
00:31:52
that intermittent fasting thing I used
00:31:54
the zero app you know that would make
00:31:55
that a lot easier uh and so I do the
00:31:57
fasting I'm not eating I lose like 10 15
00:31:59
pounds I do a little working out lose a
00:32:00
couple more pounds but then I you did
00:32:02
what did you do mjro or something I
00:32:03
started I did all three I started with
00:32:05
the OIC then I went to whatever the
00:32:07
other one isaro no I wound up with
00:32:10
monjaro and I take a very low dose now
00:32:12
just to maintain but I'm pretty how
00:32:13
often do you take it I think I'm every
00:32:15
10 days yeah I think this is I think
00:32:16
this is where a lot of people are going
00:32:17
to end up is like finding their own
00:32:20
dosing frequency yes and like the the
00:32:22
effects in some of the recent studies on
00:32:24
The gp1 Agonist is it's not just weight
00:32:26
loss but there's like anti-inflammatory
00:32:28
effects yeah they had good Phase 2 on
00:32:30
Alzheimer's um there's uh kidney disease
00:32:34
hypertension and crazy enough they've
00:32:36
got an indication clinical going right
00:32:37
now for sleep apnea so if you snore
00:32:39
they'll give you a do a prescription um
00:32:42
that's approved by your insurance for um
00:32:44
start Brian Johnson you know the live
00:32:45
forever guy yeah he's great he start I I
00:32:48
love him I great I love the fact he has
00:32:51
a seven hour erection every night
00:32:52
according to his data he said he has
00:32:54
more erections than an 18-year-old and
00:32:56
if you would like to have as many
00:32:57
erection
00:32:58
as Brian Johns who measures that joh
00:33:00
overnight he he told us like it's like a
00:33:03
ring and the ring like expands and
00:33:06
that's and so like he tracks it and he
00:33:07
said it was like an aura ring for yeah
00:33:09
and chth was talking to him and he told
00:33:11
chamat that it was the one thing he was
00:33:12
scared about putting out was the data
00:33:14
about his erections every night and so
00:33:16
he was it was like the one thing that he
00:33:17
was like should I should I do this
00:33:19
should I because people go after and he
00:33:20
said it's the one thing that like made
00:33:21
him really popular like people like oh
00:33:23
my God and that got a lot of attention
00:33:24
good marketing it was actually good
00:33:25
marketing so anyway hims is a sponsor of
00:33:27
this him him's paid a sponsorship to
00:33:29
help us build the set you told me you're
00:33:31
considering sampling a glp1 is that true
00:33:33
you still I may yeah I like the
00:33:36
anti-inflammatory effects yeah wait
00:33:38
that's I like the weight loss effects
00:33:40
frankly of just you got the final 15 or
00:33:42
something trvel all the time you don't
00:33:43
sleep I sleep like I have insomnia
00:33:45
I'm trying to work on that as well and
00:33:47
then yeah you're on the road you can't
00:33:48
really control what you eat as much you
00:33:49
end up gaining weight this seems way
00:33:51
easier than everything else it does it
00:33:53
turn off the food noise you know when
00:33:55
you're like you probably get back to the
00:33:56
hotel and you're like oh my God I should
00:33:58
get a chicken parm or a burger Grand hi
00:34:01
or something I mean that's drink I don't
00:34:05
cheat on my wife but I cheat on my diet
00:34:07
every day right so you're you're
00:34:09
a Serial chicken par F landerer yeah
00:34:11
yeah and you can't control it and so
00:34:12
this is uh perfect for you okay we're
00:34:14
gonna do another shout out for airall
00:34:15
they also help build the set you know
00:34:17
these guys I don't explain okay there's
00:34:19
um an AI powered customer communications
00:34:22
platform so you know we appreciate them
00:34:25
participating um they integrate with
00:34:27
tools like sales Force HubSpot zendesk
00:34:29
and UniFi Voice SMS WhatsApp social
00:34:32
channels um into one solution and you
00:34:35
get three months of free airall if you
00:34:37
go to aircall.io Allin thank you guys
00:34:40
for paying for our set there are three
00:34:41
sponsors so it's hims airall and Abra
00:34:44
Abra also sponsored our holiday I'm an
00:34:45
investor in Abra that's great tell us
00:34:47
about Abra uh Abra you just uh go if you
00:34:50
want to transfer Bitcoin uh money
00:34:52
transfer buy you're roundt tripping your
00:34:54
investor dollars back to I wasn't aware
00:34:57
of that uh they were sponsoring actually
00:34:59
I'm not involved in it okay sorry go
00:35:00
ahead to what they do you can well I
00:35:02
mean let's let's figure out what message
00:35:05
they want so if you go to if you go to
00:35:06
Aubra you go to code Allin you get three
00:35:08
months with no no fees abra.com
00:35:11
um it's a custody trade digital assets
00:35:14
so it's a crypto wealth and treasury
00:35:17
management uh products and services and
00:35:19
I know they had a great booth at the
00:35:20
Allin holiday show where they also
00:35:22
helped sponsor that shout out to Bill
00:35:24
that's how we pay for all the stuff
00:35:25
thank you to the sponsors obviously we
00:35:26
do the Pod for free but when we do the
00:35:28
Live Events we need some support so the
00:35:30
url.com Allin hims.com Allin get skinny
00:35:35
get skinny get skinny and have unlimited
00:35:38
overnight
00:35:39
erections wait I do have one question
00:35:41
can we talk about the um okay this the
00:35:44
status here oh well looks like uh
00:35:47
somebody is saying vake and Susie um
00:35:50
what's her last name Wilds who is the
00:35:52
chief of staff they're speaking Yeah I
00:35:56
guess CBS is speculating here that maybe
00:35:58
or cpan is pulling up a story about
00:36:01
maybe is no longer involved in Doge so
00:36:05
that was a rumor last night yeah and he
00:36:07
has not confirmed nor denied it and um
00:36:11
we'll see what happens but obviously
00:36:13
let's go to Every I think a lot of
00:36:15
people we all know are very anxious to
00:36:16
see what is revealed about Doge this
00:36:18
week that's like a big thing in Silicon
00:36:20
Valley and the world of business is like
00:36:22
how real is Doge what's coming out this
00:36:24
week and you know it's got the most
00:36:27
upsite it's the most asymmetric if it
00:36:29
does work it could be a change in the
00:36:31
entire philosophy of how we look at
00:36:33
government and it is the I was in Japan
00:36:35
and you know when you talk to business
00:36:37
people over there they are um they
00:36:40
brought up multiple times our national
00:36:41
debt and then what having two and a half
00:36:43
times I think Brad kerser what is the
00:36:45
debt load for Japan is it two and a half
00:36:47
times their GDP at this point sounds
00:36:49
about that yeah and so you and I think
00:36:52
that's the the highest of any you know
00:36:54
uh first war country and you know I know
00:36:57
Elon was around this weekend obviously
00:36:59
he's at the event today last night and
00:37:01
the event today um he's in the uh the
00:37:04
capital building for the swearing in
00:37:05
ceremony but despite being around all
00:37:07
weekend he was MIA apparently working
00:37:11
all weekend so I think he's very
00:37:13
dedicated to this Doge effort he's
00:37:14
obviously been very public and vocal
00:37:16
about it but certainly you know
00:37:18
anecdotally which I'm not kind of
00:37:20
revealing any secret preserved knowledge
00:37:22
here he's been totally absent and been
00:37:25
locked down well I mean yeah I have I
00:37:29
have some insights I think you're going
00:37:31
to see you know a very um my expectation
00:37:35
would be you're going to see a team that
00:37:37
is extremely dedicated from everything
00:37:39
from it to getting back to office that's
00:37:42
right you know coming in with a platform
00:37:45
and I haven't read it and I'm not
00:37:46
involved in it so I don't want to over
00:37:47
state it but but I think really the
00:37:49
formation of the team is what's going to
00:37:51
be the most compelling and I will
00:37:53
release some inside information Mark
00:37:55
pingis there you know is a rumor that
00:38:00
they were going to tap you to be
00:38:01
involved you had a couple conflicts I
00:38:03
understand but you wanted to come serve
00:38:04
your country and take four years off
00:38:06
from making money in the the way you are
00:38:09
uniquely qualified to do starting an
00:38:11
invest are you gonna work on Doge well I
00:38:13
he was
00:38:14
recruited I had some conversations I was
00:38:17
I was definitely intrigued and
00:38:20
interested and um and and I was ready to
00:38:25
take like the the shittiest like least
00:38:30
prestigious and kind of potentially some
00:38:33
like pretty polarizing position um for
00:38:37
at least six months um move my family to
00:38:41
DC um this was not like an
00:38:43
ambassadorship or anything um you wanted
00:38:46
to make software to make things more
00:38:47
efficient yeah I wanted to I said where
00:38:49
where is the most leverage like if I'm
00:38:53
going to really do this yeah um and and
00:38:56
yeah I I say I was conflicted out
00:39:00
because I've been such a big Democratic
00:39:03
contributor and I'm such a recent
00:39:05
addition to the Republican team so um
00:39:09
but I I love what they're doing and and
00:39:12
I'd just say that my own opinion and
00:39:15
this is not knowing anything um I think
00:39:19
that it's going to I think it's going to
00:39:22
overd
00:39:23
deliver um not to set expectations they
00:39:26
don't want that but I I think it's going
00:39:28
to be more aggressive and overd deliver
00:39:30
versus what kind of the mainstream media
00:39:33
yeah thinks at this point really yeah
00:39:36
and you know it's a good time to buy um
00:39:39
us treasuries then yeah I think a lot of
00:39:42
the trade in treasuries has been on the
00:39:44
expectation that US debt levels and
00:39:47
deficit levels will continue to climb
00:39:50
and we're not going to get out of the
00:39:52
you know the the spending problem we
00:39:54
have we're not going to get out of the
00:39:55
debt bubble we're in and ultimately
00:39:57
there's a real cut it's a you know
00:39:59
treasuries have been sold off and now
00:40:00
yields are like
00:40:02
5% um seems like a good time to buy
00:40:04
treasuries if what you're saying is real
00:40:06
I can tell you you know an interesting
00:40:07
proxy that I do have is the number of
00:40:10
folks who have asked me for an
00:40:11
introduction to some of our friends who
00:40:14
are involved involved yeah and so the
00:40:18
second uh you know thoughts around AI
00:40:21
crypto and do and efficiency were
00:40:24
released every day 10 people 20 people
00:40:28
sliding into my DM sending me resumes
00:40:30
just hey can you get this in front of
00:40:31
this person and you know some of them
00:40:33
were just kids in college but some of
00:40:35
them were people we know like Mark or
00:40:37
other people Sundar and Elon up on stage
00:40:40
at the inauguration together of course
00:40:43
the CEO of Google and they put all the
00:40:45
tech folks together we saw sindar last
00:40:48
night at the YouTube party and yeah
00:40:51
Google did a little event last night um
00:40:53
which we stopped in at thanks to YouTube
00:40:55
for the support
00:40:57
and uh a lot of folks in Silicon Valley
00:40:59
are here and are going to sit with um or
00:41:04
near president and vice president today
00:41:06
to show their support and I think
00:41:07
they're trying to highlight and I'm just
00:41:09
speculating here because no one told me
00:41:10
about the rationale for this but you
00:41:12
know putting some of America's most
00:41:14
successful companies on stage and
00:41:16
showcasing what the power of
00:41:20
innovation yeah yeah yeah what we can
00:41:22
bring I want to know the tea from the
00:41:24
Google party you guys were you guys were
00:41:26
out last night right we were
00:41:27
You' been out all week Google party the
00:41:29
Google party was the most tame of the
00:41:31
parties this weekend then let's get to
00:41:32
the fun okay let's go to the parties
00:41:34
okay so I mean starting with cryp the
00:41:35
crypto ball would be the most
00:41:37
interesting one have any photos from
00:41:38
that um we've got some photos here we
00:41:41
we'll pull up a photo or two but um at
00:41:43
the crypto ball um there were a lot of
00:41:47
um crypto obviously but a lot of people
00:41:49
in our Circle lot of V is this on screen
00:41:51
guys yeah okay so here's Elon V uh Sachs
00:41:56
looking incredibly this is this is just
00:41:58
a couple minutes ago it's about an hour
00:41:59
ago they're they're getting I don't know
00:42:00
who the woman is um they're getting
00:42:03
assembled uh for the um swearing in this
00:42:07
is outside my hotel this morning so JD
00:42:09
Vance goes to that church or he was like
00:42:11
going there so I got locked into my
00:42:13
hotel and then I couldn't go anywhere um
00:42:16
that's the church across from the White
00:42:17
House yeah yeah uh no no the church
00:42:20
across from the the hay Adams Adam which
00:42:23
is right across from the white house so
00:42:24
they go in there and it's um oh it is
00:42:27
okay yeah it's CR so we got blocked in
00:42:29
this morning it was pretty insane I've
00:42:30
never in my life seen so much security
00:42:34
it was like three blocks of Secret
00:42:36
Service military they it was crazy I was
00:42:39
walking down the street by myself there
00:42:41
was like and everyone was like what the
00:42:43
is this I was walking with a bag there
00:42:44
are secret service everywhere there are
00:42:46
dogs everywhere there are tanks there
00:42:48
are Humvees all kinds of things the can
00:42:51
we pull up a party photo Nick for maybe
00:42:52
the crypto ball um okay here's a party
00:42:56
crypto ball thank you that was me
00:42:57
getting ready keep going back there it
00:43:00
is there it is besties oh and and then
00:43:03
we found J yeah I mean I my strategy is
00:43:05
always to come in the second half of the
00:43:06
party I never want to be there early I
00:43:08
come at the end you know it's a much
00:43:10
better strategy I think let everybody
00:43:13
show up you know people get settled then
00:43:14
I come in I shake some hands kiss some
00:43:16
babies I don't know if that's what
00:43:17
happened but I hear you I came first the
00:43:19
second half um it was packed and the
00:43:22
number of people who I well everyone was
00:43:24
there how much did that raise I don't
00:43:27
know um it had to be tens of millions of
00:43:29
dollars and I don't know where the money
00:43:30
went it was tens of millions but I think
00:43:32
there's a crypto we went to a group
00:43:34
called magga Inc which I don't know
00:43:36
super pack but like we were we were
00:43:38
Sax's guests let's go back to the
00:43:39
inauguration feed guys but we were Sax's
00:43:41
guests at the crypto ball um and we saw
00:43:44
Snoop Dog and um but everyone was there
00:43:48
so VI sober Snoop sober Snoop is less
00:43:50
exciting definitely not sober nice
00:43:52
definitely not so I was I was I was at
00:43:55
the room and he comes out the room you
00:43:57
knew every time he walk through and he
00:43:58
has a huge Entourage and there's just a
00:44:00
cloud that follows everyone and they
00:44:01
walk through the room and you're just
00:44:02
like contact it was the most
00:44:04
uncomfortable dancing you've ever seen
00:44:06
it was all white people and then it was
00:44:08
a subset of white people white people
00:44:10
who are passionate about crypto never
00:44:13
and have a group of people dance so
00:44:16
poorly here I am with Lex and chth Lex
00:44:19
and I have a serious Bromance going on
00:44:21
in Austin yeah he's great I am Lex
00:44:24
Freedman today with love and in my heart
00:44:28
interviewing dictator idin who has eaten
00:44:31
half of his enemies he will share love
00:44:34
kindness and a fatty liver
00:44:38
enjoy yeah so that's my Lex yeah which
00:44:41
is you just use a robotic voice and then
00:44:43
you pair love and joy with the most
00:44:47
despicable person ever which is what his
00:44:50
gift is shout out to my guy uh Lex um we
00:44:54
oh I I'll say I I had to
00:44:58
I had a VIP pass for the Crypt Ball but
00:45:02
for some reason then the VIP line was so
00:45:04
long we went in the ga line yes um that
00:45:07
must have been brutal for you first time
00:45:09
you've been in a ga line in a long time
00:45:11
markas but but it gets worse so then
00:45:14
they give us the the white armband not
00:45:17
the vi okay so you were in genp genp I
00:45:20
was in gen poop so then we had to sneak
00:45:24
into the VIP so Shane cop Flyn who's
00:45:27
good at that I don't know CEO poly
00:45:30
Market coo poly Market said just follow
00:45:32
me he took me and my daughters of course
00:45:35
Shane is the guy that knows how to sneak
00:45:36
through parties yeah he's amazing he
00:45:39
just said just have the confidence which
00:45:41
we've done this before at film festivals
00:45:42
so we kind of knew and he just walked us
00:45:45
in then we're in like the bigger VIP
00:45:48
room and then our friends pulled us into
00:45:51
the
00:45:53
smaller and that's when I knew I was at
00:45:55
the party yes yeah there was a so there
00:45:57
was there was the the main room the VIP
00:45:59
room and then the vvp room which was
00:46:02
where well Donald Trump Jr came Donald
00:46:04
Don Jr Ted
00:46:06
Cruz um
00:46:08
VI uh who else was a lot of folks came
00:46:11
through I mean a lot of people the thing
00:46:12
with the parties this weekend is there's
00:46:13
every night there's a lot of parties
00:46:15
going on and everyone's driving around
00:46:16
town stopping in from party to party and
00:46:19
so all of the kind of political folks
00:46:21
are kind of trying to stop into all the
00:46:23
parties because they want to meet the
00:46:24
donors and the lobbyists and you know
00:46:26
the influence ERS and the executives
00:46:28
that are all in town so like there's
00:46:29
several heads of state in town many CEOs
00:46:32
from companies all over the world are
00:46:33
here and so you go to all these
00:46:34
different events and they all kind of
00:46:35
want to stop in so we had our event last
00:46:38
night the all-in party that was actually
00:46:40
pretty great which was awesome big shout
00:46:41
out by the way to our friend Sunny madra
00:46:43
and grock they sponsored for that party
00:46:45
which was awesome uh it was a great
00:46:47
party you know and just to to wrap on
00:46:49
the crypto party there's been an amazing
00:46:52
amount of speculation here 24 48 48
00:46:55
hours after it why we were there Trump
00:46:59
or perhaps Baron Trump I don't know
00:47:01
exactly who's doing all this Trump
00:47:03
decided to drop a meme coin oh and
00:47:07
it went to 30 or 40 billion dollars and
00:47:10
so we're sitting there and it's pretty
00:47:12
amazing because Gary Gensler uh who was
00:47:15
running the SEC he's out he ruled with
00:47:18
an iron fist he said you know there's a
00:47:19
rule book here play by the rules we're
00:47:21
not changing the rule book we have a
00:47:23
rule book yeah that's how it works and
00:47:26
crypto has to into the same rule book as
00:47:28
an IPO or a private company or private
00:47:30
Equity picked your lane and then follow
00:47:32
the rules and you have any questions
00:47:33
about the rules you know here's a here's
00:47:35
a website where you can look them up now
00:47:36
crypto is um you know a bit speculative
00:47:40
on the margins I would say uh people
00:47:43
call these meme coins the colloquialism
00:47:45
also is shitcoins and if there was a
00:47:48
question about how these coins will work
00:47:52
um we or how crypto is going to work I
00:47:55
think YOLO is how I would describe the
00:47:58
administration's policy now on crypto
00:48:01
what were your thoughts when you saw
00:48:02
this and then a Melania coin Dr dropped
00:48:04
12 hours later yeah and was that on
00:48:06
pump. fun I don't know if that like this
00:48:08
explain what pump. fun is let's it's a
00:48:11
website that lets people create meme
00:48:13
coins I think they create like 20,000 a
00:48:16
day through this and I I was shocked
00:48:19
because these guys launched a one of the
00:48:22
more popular meme coins from my office
00:48:24
called AI 16z it's and just to be clear
00:48:28
it's not a shout out to it I don't own
00:48:29
it I didn't I didn't buy it they said
00:48:33
you have to buy this get in and I was
00:48:35
like I don't even want to be associated
00:48:37
with buying one of these that goes up
00:48:39
and then down it never even occurred to
00:48:41
me that uh that Trump would actually or
00:48:44
anyone I knew would actually go launch
00:48:46
one and there's one up to2 billion
00:48:47
dollar market cap so it would have been
00:48:50
good public reaction and The Vibes when
00:48:52
I talked to crypto people uh I I
00:48:54
actually saw Michael salor at the crypto
00:48:55
party did you talk to him well you know
00:48:58
you you been extremely negative about
00:49:00
him publicly did you not him of the the
00:49:03
financial strategy of taking out
00:49:06
billions of dollars in loans and then
00:49:08
trying to Corner the market and be the
00:49:09
largest shareholder in Bitcoin which is
00:49:11
antithetical to the concept of Bitcoin
00:49:13
somebody cornering the market also
00:49:15
taking out loans and something that has
00:49:16
that much volatility I don't know Mark
00:49:18
what you think it's I'm with you I it's
00:49:21
it's nothing against the guy but I
00:49:24
actually thought oh when I came
00:49:26
back and took over over Zinga we had
00:49:27
like a billion two or billion three in
00:49:30
the bank and a Better Business than his
00:49:32
Core Business why did I think of that we
00:49:35
should have just bet it all on bitcoin
00:49:37
it was a lot earlier this was
00:49:39
2015 I think Bitcoin was down then at
00:49:42
like $240
00:49:44
$800 well the key word the key word
00:49:47
there is BET yeah yeah you know so I I
00:49:49
just decided I would defuse the whole
00:49:51
thing and somebody had handed me a
00:49:52
Bitcoin physical Bitcoin not actually
00:49:55
one but you know just a bit Co on it and
00:49:57
I said Michael um I'm a huge fan I came
00:50:00
over her shoulder and I whispered what
00:50:01
should I do with my Bitcoin I have a
00:50:03
Bitcoin what do I do with it should I
00:50:04
keep it or sell it and he turned around
00:50:06
well you want to keep Bitcoin for and
00:50:07
he's like
00:50:08
Jal and he just you know shook his fist
00:50:12
at the son and smiled and I said come on
00:50:13
the pot anytime and he has an open
00:50:15
invite to come on um I sent him a note
00:50:17
to check in and he refused to come on so
00:50:21
well I don't you know I think I think
00:50:22
we've passed that part of the story here
00:50:25
I if you um if you have when you say
00:50:27
enough negative about a guy's
00:50:28
business he thinks he thinks like maybe
00:50:30
I don't really have a shot at turning
00:50:31
the guy around why doesn't Benny off
00:50:33
come on I thought he was him and
00:50:35
Lonsdale Ben off was on the show I mean
00:50:37
he did a talk at but I thought he wanted
00:50:38
to come on and talk to
00:50:40
Lonsdale that one may still happen that
00:50:42
may still happen to do a debate I may do
00:50:44
it on this week in startups or if we
00:50:46
have time we'll do it on here but he um
00:50:48
you know Benny off we don't just take it
00:50:50
behind the scenes I don't believe we
00:50:53
should ever do any conditions on any
00:50:55
interview and Ben off had conditions he
00:50:57
wanted to do just sex and you know set
00:51:00
the agenda and stuff like that and I
00:51:01
think you mean at our Summit at the
00:51:02
summit and you know freeberg runs it I
00:51:05
trust him as my partner he does an
00:51:06
incredible job I did it was but it was
00:51:08
this was a last minute thing we were all
00:51:10
gonna talk to Ben off on stage he wanted
00:51:11
to go one-on-one with sax very last
00:51:13
minute while in the while everyone else
00:51:15
is kind of like getting getting ready
00:51:17
scattered it was a very kind of like
00:51:20
situation where I'm if I'm I'm going on
00:51:22
only if sax is why do you think why was
00:51:24
that well I wants to control the message
00:51:26
yeah well that's one way to interpret it
00:51:28
I think it's just he he told me a lot
00:51:30
how uncomfortable it is to be
00:51:32
interviewed by four people it's like
00:51:33
being thrown in the Viper pit it's I
00:51:35
mean that's kind of the the point it's
00:51:37
like you'd rather have a one-on-one
00:51:38
dialogue with someone and be able to go
00:51:40
deep and not have like all the questions
00:51:42
I I think that that's kind of what it
00:51:43
felt I would have told him he's not
00:51:45
speaking but I defer to on this wasn't
00:51:48
just to be clear this was like a game
00:51:50
time at the show minutes before
00:51:52
situation where we had no one else to go
00:51:54
on so yeah but I mean just and if you do
00:51:56
anything like
00:51:57
we had him at the at the all- in Summit
00:51:59
on stage but any and he did a one-on-one
00:52:00
with Sachs you did you and it wasn't
00:52:02
great I mean it got you can read the
00:52:05
comments I mean it got Savaged people
00:52:07
thought it was too self-promotional and
00:52:08
it wasn't the a shal of Allin which is
00:52:10
right or the currency of your podcast
00:52:11
you know it's like be honest be
00:52:13
authentic you know he's he's been at it
00:52:16
a long time and like you said with your
00:52:18
Chief of Staff controlling messages he's
00:52:19
got a PE a group of people around him
00:52:21
who are crafting a message and he's
00:52:23
staying on message he wants to talk
00:52:24
about his philanthropy which is amazing
00:52:26
and awesome
00:52:27
he's done so much for the city of San
00:52:29
Francisco and he's except for propy
00:52:31
except for propy which is a complet so
00:52:33
let's go back to the parties but I will
00:52:35
call you out if you TR to do anything
00:52:37
like that immediately okay let's go back
00:52:38
to the party so let's go back to the
00:52:39
parties good parties what were your
00:52:40
favorites this weekend uh I would say
00:52:43
the all in party for sure um the party
00:52:47
what was the Vib well well that I think
00:52:50
that I love the before I get to that the
00:52:53
the back bar at the crypto ball um that
00:52:57
was a good start I thought that was
00:53:00
great yeah who did you meet there
00:53:01
anybody notable I honest I a lot of tech
00:53:04
friends I reconnected yeah with a bunch
00:53:07
of tech friends with Peter
00:53:08
teal um yeah you guys were in a long
00:53:11
about a half hour discussion I wanted to
00:53:12
get in on that but what were you talking
00:53:14
about uh what were you talking about
00:53:17
your I mean broad Strokes broad Strokes
00:53:19
well honestly
00:53:22
um I'm I'm trying to broker peace when I
00:53:27
can like I I and it's whenever I step in
00:53:30
it I I know it was wrong but I'm trying
00:53:32
to broker peace like between wh pet him
00:53:34
and Reed Gawker no between Peter and
00:53:37
Reed um they've been friends for life
00:53:40
and they had a falling deep falling out
00:53:42
over all this and it was a bad idea
00:53:44
because it I think I might have like
00:53:46
really pissed Peter off he was he looked
00:53:48
really uncomfortable angry after that I
00:53:51
think he just yeah that was not maybe
00:53:54
the right lead in there I think it's
00:53:56
good work you know sometimes you have to
00:53:59
you know My Philosophy is sometimes you
00:54:00
have to go through it to get to the
00:54:02
destination yeah like and you got to go
00:54:04
through Sometimes some uncomfortable you
00:54:06
know storms Etc you know the the hard
00:54:08
thing and and I was it was great
00:54:10
reconnecting with Travis yes um I love
00:54:13
him um I ran into this this guy Rick
00:54:16
Thompson who oddly ran Plum who is like
00:54:19
my Arch competitor and they literally
00:54:22
burned me in effigy like they they hated
00:54:25
me and my company so much that they they
00:54:27
burned a mark mannequin on stage and so
00:54:31
but he was really nice and happy to see
00:54:33
me now he's like a and here's the um
00:54:36
runda and I think I just saw saak
00:54:38
talking to VI yeah on the wing can we
00:54:40
hear audio or no yeah um so they're all
00:54:43
filing in they're filing in I saw Mike
00:54:46
Pence go in he's going to oh we can drop
00:54:49
that thought that was Mike Pence is
00:54:51
going in to uh also face the guillotine
00:54:55
this is the ceremony Guillotine of the
00:54:58
non the non-loyal to Trump individuals
00:55:01
but you saw Pence and Trump shook hands
00:55:04
at the um they did Carter uh event yeah
00:55:07
he said on our part he was like Mike
00:55:09
Pence is a good man it's just
00:55:10
unfortunate they didn't have the heart
00:55:11
to do what it took or what was necess
00:55:13
overthrow the overthrow the government
00:55:15
yeah which is a wild thing to say but
00:55:17
yeah he didn't seem to have any ill will
00:55:19
toward him yeah I
00:55:21
mean I mean it was a it was a wild day
00:55:24
you know sometimes you've been at some
00:55:25
Hollywood party
00:55:26
it's out of control it's a little out of
00:55:28
control kind
00:55:29
of I like how J Cal's turned it around
00:55:32
now he's like it was a little out of
00:55:33
control a day I am being as factious as
00:55:36
possible with that one I will never
00:55:38
forgive Trump deared you Cur of TDS
00:55:40
yesterday who was that I mean if if you
00:55:42
it's the L it's the lamest insult you
00:55:46
know immature people can do which is to
00:55:48
tell you if you criticize somebody if
00:55:50
you criticize some of Trump's behavior
00:55:52
that you have TDS yeah and it's
00:55:54
brilliant it's a brilliant way to do it
00:55:56
putting on you the ownership of some of
00:55:59
the crazy things Trump does and I can
00:56:00
tell you we're going to be in for four
00:56:02
years of chaotic moments don't take it
00:56:04
all so seriously we'll get through it
00:56:06
and there'll be things that are
00:56:08
confounding to people like Pardons and
00:56:09
today we had a bunch of Pardons we'll
00:56:11
have a bunch of Pardons I'm sure from uh
00:56:13
Trump you're not going to agree with
00:56:15
most of them or some come the Supreme
00:56:16
Court Justices okay here come the
00:56:17
Supreme Court Justices uh this is the
00:56:20
ceremony where they come in and they get
00:56:22
free flights to amazing vacation
00:56:25
destinations
00:56:27
uh flight voucher here yes they're each
00:56:30
getting you see there there is the
00:56:31
Falcon 900 there is the
00:56:34
G650 each um if you're if you're a new
00:56:37
Justice you get a hog or 800 hog or 800
00:56:39
each Justice receiving their ceremonial
00:56:42
private Aviation I mean it's crazy these
00:56:44
guys are supposed to represent and be
00:56:46
the highest of party and this guy's
00:56:49
going I don't know which one it was but
00:56:50
I read the
00:56:52
grift he's on cases for this billionaire
00:56:55
and he's going on vacation with him
00:56:57
Clarence Thomas right W I don't know if
00:56:59
we Clarence Thomas I mean dad.com no
00:57:02
come on SO dis no we're not gonna get
00:57:05
that's a longer conversation we should
00:57:06
actually talk about this on a show but
00:57:07
it's a good it's a good I mean just
00:57:09
here's an idea if you if you're a
00:57:11
Supreme Court Justice don't there's a
00:57:14
lot of politicizing of Supreme Court
00:57:16
Justices as well so I like we we should
00:57:18
make sure we do the proper analysis of
00:57:20
like what actually happened and whether
00:57:21
it was reasonable or not here's the
00:57:23
proper analysis don't be a
00:57:24
rifter um but that shoot from the hip
00:57:28
yeah yeah this has gotten him into
00:57:30
really good places in the yeah well you
00:57:32
know every week the podcast is in the
00:57:33
top
00:57:34
10 I'm with you I'm with you seems to be
00:57:37
work wait wait wait so what we keep
00:57:39
going so other parties that you love
00:57:41
other parties Peter T's party Peter's
00:57:43
party yeah was Peter had a party at his
00:57:45
house which was in the New York Times so
00:57:46
we and there we talk about that it was
00:57:48
described in the New York Times that we
00:57:49
all went so we can talk about our name
00:57:51
there now Mark was your name included in
00:57:54
the New York Times no and this is
00:57:56
crushing for you no I was I was happy
00:57:59
because this probably isn't going to
00:58:00
help but I have some friends in San
00:58:03
Francisco that I didn't lie but I didn't
00:58:06
advertise to them that I was coming to
00:58:08
the inauguration they know that I'm Pro
00:58:09
Trump but they I think it just adds salt
00:58:13
to the wound so I'm happy when I'm not
00:58:15
New York Times there was I was mentioned
00:58:17
as having gone to West Palm Beach
00:58:21
because there's a reporter who sat
00:58:22
outside the transition office um and
00:58:25
that somehow even made monitored who
00:58:27
went in and out yeah well you know I
00:58:29
will you went to Mar Lago no I I I
00:58:32
didn't nothing that glamorous I went to
00:58:34
the transition office right and and
00:58:36
helped interview some people but I get
00:58:40
invited Mar there's a huge lesson here
00:58:42
for Democrats um if they have any hope
00:58:45
of reconstructing their party which is
00:58:48
you and I uh very critical of trump
00:58:50
chamath people are retweeting his old
00:58:52
you know uh tweets about
00:58:54
Trump he wasn't David Sax's preferred
00:58:57
candidate was the way he said it last
00:58:58
year when he was back in D santis All Is
00:59:01
Forgiven and if you are a supporter now
00:59:05
and you can be part of the party even if
00:59:06
you had differences and even if you're
00:59:08
not in the party and you're somebody
00:59:10
like myself who just calls balls and
00:59:11
Strikes and you know I'll call out Chief
00:59:13
justices or I'll call out Pence or
00:59:15
whoever they still invite you to the
00:59:16
party and that's I think a very
00:59:18
important message for the Democrat yes
00:59:20
this tent is so open yeah that somebody
00:59:23
who gave millions of dollars to the
00:59:25
Democrats
00:59:26
um yeah I saw Sergey last night yeah um
00:59:28
Serge is here you know they they'll have
00:59:30
Sergey here Sergey Trump was saying oh
00:59:32
my God we have to break up Google the
00:59:34
censorship or whatever and now they're
00:59:35
at the table this is the problem with
00:59:37
the Democrats we were at an off the
00:59:39
Record dinner let me tell you what was
00:59:40
said um I love that didn't land I love
00:59:45
that you were at an off the Record
00:59:46
dinner I love that off the Record was I
00:59:48
at the off the Record dinner yes we
00:59:49
would say who it was for but we were out
00:59:51
an off the Record dinner hint that's
00:59:53
right no it wasn't off the Record dinner
00:59:55
it was
00:59:56
talk about it it was for a technology
00:59:58
compan what's fun I know it was for a
00:59:59
technology company and they had some
01:00:01
podcasters there I'll leave it at that
01:00:03
and um there was a lot of right-wing
01:00:06
people there because we're we're here at
01:00:07
Trump's inauguration and so you know I
01:00:09
got to meet a lot of the right-wing
01:00:10
people um this is literally an off- the
01:00:13
record dinner yeah so I'm just giving
01:00:15
but I'm not saying what it is but we I
01:00:17
had a conversation I'm gonna get dis
01:00:19
invited to because of my uh after
01:00:22
after we left the dinner at the bar
01:00:24
afterwards we had some conversations
01:00:26
yeah so at the bar afterwards it's
01:00:28
always a good conversation yeah yeah
01:00:30
yeah and somebody was saying you this is
01:00:31
not off the Record the the problem with
01:00:34
the Democrats is you know they need to
01:00:36
have their own Joe Rogan they need a Joe
01:00:38
Rogan and I said you know they had a Joe
01:00:40
Rogan yeah um they kicked him out of the
01:00:42
party do you know what his name was yeah
01:00:44
it was Joe Rogan it was Joe Rogan yeah
01:00:46
he voted for this the first time I think
01:00:49
in his life he's voted Republican yes
01:00:51
and he previously was a Bernie Sanders
01:00:54
Democrat that's not just a Democrat
01:00:56
Elon I remember when we were coming up
01:00:59
Elon was so excited to meet Obama that
01:01:01
first presidency Elon was like I waited
01:01:05
like six hours in the rain to shake the
01:01:07
man's hand he was so excited and um back
01:01:12
to like having an inclusive tent and
01:01:14
then Biden didn't had an eveve Sumit
01:01:16
didn't invite him you know and um I
01:01:20
think that's like you know a huge lesson
01:01:22
here they had and The Californians
01:01:24
literally said get out of our state we
01:01:26
don't want you here and he's like noted
01:01:28
message received message received yes
01:01:30
and so this is the the big lesson you
01:01:32
know how big can you make the tent Trump
01:01:35
took I don't know half the positions of
01:01:37
the democratic party they just well I
01:01:38
think the best commentary I talked we
01:01:40
talked about this um last night at the
01:01:43
dinner we were at which was not off the
01:01:44
record it was just a fun friends dinner
01:01:46
but um there was a conversation that or
01:01:49
someone made this commentary which I
01:01:50
think is absolutely correct which is the
01:01:52
Democrats seem to be the most organized
01:01:55
party
01:01:56
and they have everything buttoned up so
01:01:58
the messaging is right who does what the
01:02:00
hierarchy the structure the system
01:02:02
whereas because the Republicans are more
01:02:04
freedom leave us alone individualistic I
01:02:07
don't want to be they're not as
01:02:08
organized and they're also not as tight
01:02:11
bound on what you have to say and what
01:02:13
you don't have to say Republicans seem
01:02:15
to be more open to they're freeing
01:02:17
having everyone come in and like critic
01:02:19
be critical sure they'll be critical
01:02:21
back they'll say negative stuff as well
01:02:24
they'll you know say things that you
01:02:26
don't want to hear but at the end of the
01:02:27
day they're still okay come on let's
01:02:29
have the conversation is what the
01:02:31
commentary was because they're much more
01:02:32
about the individual versus the system
01:02:34
and the Democrats are more of an
01:02:35
organized system yeah you know it's very
01:02:38
interesting to me I I when uh I with you
01:02:41
know they were having this party Peter
01:02:42
TS party and I guess saak and and Jackie
01:02:44
were the co-hosts I believe and I don't
01:02:47
know if that party was I thought that
01:02:48
party was off the recordo well I mean
01:02:49
it's in the New York New York Times what
01:02:51
was funny was the New York Times
01:02:52
Reporter was camped out on the sidewalk
01:02:54
and he was Teddy shout out to Tedd and
01:02:56
Teddy was taking photos of everyone in
01:02:57
chamat like Teddy I got a quote for you
01:02:59
you teddy jump back in it was
01:03:01
hilarious and Teddy laughed and then I
01:03:02
looked at Teddy I said he says that to
01:03:04
me to us every week but jamat was
01:03:06
obviously doing it as a joke to Teddy
01:03:08
because he knows him but yeah the guy
01:03:09
was camped out watching what I'll say is
01:03:11
I I just to get taken behind the scenes
01:03:13
I said to some of the folks who were
01:03:14
going listen I I don't want to go if
01:03:16
it's uncomfortable because you know I've
01:03:18
teed off on certain things and so I you
01:03:20
know you don't have to include me in
01:03:22
anything if it you know makes certain
01:03:23
people they uncomfortable if I've been
01:03:24
too critical or whatever they were like
01:03:26
absolutely not we want you there jco and
01:03:29
uh there was a particularly spicy uh
01:03:31
Republican there who's an online
01:03:33
provocator and we had a 20 30 minute
01:03:36
conversation I won't say who it is but
01:03:38
um I got to meet his wife and his kid
01:03:39
and you know people are extremely spicy
01:03:42
online then you meet him and this person
01:03:45
had said some very spicy things about me
01:03:46
online uh and uh you know they'll never
01:03:49
say it to your face yeah never and then
01:03:51
they incredibly Coral in person yeah and
01:03:54
I think that's like another important
01:03:55
Lon is I mean yeah I would like to at
01:03:57
least acknowledge what was said but yeah
01:03:59
in general like you were kind of saying
01:04:01
it feels like being a part of the
01:04:03
democratic part is like being a part of
01:04:04
like some old company it's been around
01:04:06
for hundred years you can't say anything
01:04:08
and then the Republicans right now seem
01:04:10
like a fun startup where they got beer
01:04:11
in the office and Y play ping pong
01:04:14
whenever you want take as much leave as
01:04:15
like Patagonia or whatever it's just
01:04:17
like ponia hey man the Republicans are P
01:04:20
yeah they're
01:04:21
Patagonian under your desk it doesn't
01:04:23
matter doesn't matter do what you got to
01:04:24
do I think that's a very welcoming
01:04:27
inviting exciting thing right now uh
01:04:30
there was a great part your political I
01:04:32
truly I think I I was hope I 2020 I
01:04:35
definitely did not want Trump to win
01:04:37
yeah 2024 I still didn't I was okay with
01:04:40
it but I was like I don't know I just
01:04:41
remember all the noise from the first
01:04:43
time Trump was president and I was like
01:04:44
I don't want that but once he won I was
01:04:46
like okay and then I thought RFK I think
01:04:49
can do a lot of great things with the
01:04:50
food like you know taking out a lot of
01:04:52
the chemicals and stuff like that I
01:04:53
think doge is awesome so I am very
01:04:56
bullish on what this could be yeah but I
01:04:58
don't typically like how do he end up on
01:05:00
your podcast Trump so I don't even that
01:05:03
we were talking back and forth for a
01:05:05
while yeah I think Donald Trump Jr is a
01:05:07
fan of Schultz and then they were
01:05:08
talking and uh I think Alex Bruce witz
01:05:11
the same he's the guy that like kind of
01:05:13
was trying to work it out but we they
01:05:14
wanted us to come to marago First and we
01:05:15
were like we don't want to do that we
01:05:17
want Trump in our studio that would be
01:05:18
the best and then we couldn't get that
01:05:20
to work compromise was yeah New York so
01:05:22
the compromise was Trump Tower in New
01:05:24
York Trump Tower yeah which was a did
01:05:26
you build a studio or what we built a
01:05:27
studio that day I mean I wasn't a part
01:05:29
of that but everybody works in the Pod
01:05:31
behind was it as nice as this studio
01:05:32
sponsored by hams no no no and no not is
01:05:36
nice
01:05:37
not 70% was nice it was hers okay how's
01:05:40
your nighttime erection going have you
01:05:42
honestly solid but I'll be honest I had
01:05:44
the flu and for like two weeks I just
01:05:46
didn't get hard and I was like losing my
01:05:48
mind I thought it was over got in your
01:05:49
head yeah I'm 40 I was like thought you
01:05:51
were done yeah yeah burn out yeah I got
01:05:53
a couple this weekend though so we're
01:05:54
back baby it's kind of like that second
01:05:56
or third Scotch you know you're gonna
01:05:58
need to get a him ex exactly.com
01:06:02
Allin wait what is the
01:06:04
address if you're going all in yeah we
01:06:07
recommend oh Obama's showing up Obama's
01:06:09
showing up is the audio guys or is it
01:06:11
all just still shuffling that's fine
01:06:12
you're just hearing clapping I mean oh
01:06:14
and
01:06:15
there Clinton interestingly did you hear
01:06:18
this that uh Michelle Obama not going
01:06:21
not going didn't go to uh there's Dana
01:06:24
White uh
01:06:26
is
01:06:28
awesome awesome getting
01:06:31
divorced what who that is a rumor who
01:06:34
Michelle Obama and Jennifer Anderson
01:06:36
wait Michelle sorry Barack bar Obama
01:06:40
jennif rumor my bad my bad my bad my bad
01:06:43
wait you said Trump dating on no B
01:06:45
Barack and Jennifer Anderson are
01:06:47
apparently thing no come on this time
01:06:49
line is crazy yeah yeah I mean literally
01:06:52
the Multiverse split I don't know if
01:06:54
like how someone can say something and
01:06:55
then everyone's like it's a rumor and
01:06:56
then it becomes a thing yeah like
01:06:58
everyone you almost okay here's a
01:07:01
supreme court justi and I think Michelle
01:07:04
didn't come because she saw Barack
01:07:05
having fun with Trump and there's
01:07:06
nothing a wife hates more than a husband
01:07:08
having fun without her yeah and that's
01:07:10
really dos in yes final straw you know
01:07:12
what my favorite part of the Carter
01:07:13
Funeral I mean it was a terrible
01:07:15
situation but like part the death of J
01:07:17
Carter top top 10 the best part was the
01:07:20
uh the bush uh tummy tap how great was
01:07:23
that clip he's awwesome you're like
01:07:25
you're like what's that guy up to now
01:07:26
yeah he should have never been president
01:07:28
just be MLB commissioner like he wanted
01:07:30
to and youever you ever see the clip
01:07:34
where they went behind the scenes and he
01:07:36
gets in front of the camera he's like
01:07:37
and I want to let the know let the
01:07:39
terrorists know that they will face
01:07:41
shock and awe and the American people
01:07:44
are not going to stand for radical
01:07:47
terrorism now watch me hit this five
01:07:50
hour he's like what so sick I was like
01:07:53
that is so B Watch Me Hit This Drive Bo
01:07:55
now watch me hit this drive
01:07:56
boom 10,000 people 20,000
01:08:00
people watching the stream share the
01:08:01
stream with your friends give a retweet
01:08:03
uh hopefully chamath will get his Wi-Fi
01:08:05
up and running and we'll go live to uh
01:08:08
the um inauguration itself but it looks
01:08:11
like Trump is um going to be uh sworn in
01:08:15
and this is not happening outside it is
01:08:18
so cold here it is
01:08:21
unbelievable last night's party was fun
01:08:23
I went to the Uber X party
01:08:26
and um I have a new bestie uh Lex
01:08:30
Freeman and I have been Rolling Deep
01:08:31
yeah and you know I only did this
01:08:33
because I saw you know freedberg is such
01:08:36
a fan of Lex and he hasn't been on yet
01:08:38
yeah and I saw Friedberg he was looking
01:08:41
at Lex with that look of science love so
01:08:44
funny and he is looking at him and I'm
01:08:46
like we hung out with leg two nights
01:08:48
Jason's like are you guys going in the
01:08:50
car together where are you guys going to
01:08:51
go I mean it was they were having such a
01:08:54
nerd off they were we talking about was
01:08:56
awesome
01:08:57
guy you got a man crush be honest I know
01:09:00
I think he's a great I think he's a
01:09:01
great human yeah he's a great guy and uh
01:09:04
we sat next to each other at this off
01:09:05
the Record dinner the other night and
01:09:07
then I we started chatting we had great
01:09:09
conversations he's a very maybe good
01:09:10
chemistry too very real very genuine
01:09:13
yeah like just a great person great
01:09:15
person anyway say more at a great time
01:09:17
well I I met him at some party the other
01:09:19
night and I said nice talking to you
01:09:22
great meeting but I don't want to miss a
01:09:24
seat at the poker game
01:09:25
and he said are you going to play with
01:09:27
Allin guys I said I maybe I think and
01:09:29
he's like you think chamath will be
01:09:31
there I want to come with you and he
01:09:32
drops whoever talking I see this I
01:09:36
see so I'm like you know I'm the I'm the
01:09:38
captain of the football team I'm gonna
01:09:39
go take the girl so I just go right over
01:09:43
I'm like Lex this's it going are you
01:09:44
describing yourself because you're more
01:09:46
of like the water boy yeah I like that
01:09:49
like bring so I go
01:09:51
and watching all the guys doing their
01:09:53
workouts you're like I just take the
01:09:55
girl right out of his head I start
01:09:56
talking to Lex Lex and I are you know
01:09:58
because we're Pals we start talking
01:10:00
and everything we go to the uh Uber
01:10:02
party and Lex is a little sad because he
01:10:04
broke up with his girlfriend it's okay
01:10:06
you know and I can speak a little bit
01:10:07
out of pocket here because I was like
01:10:09
Lex um if you need to be a girl you know
01:10:13
just point out which girl you want to
01:10:15
talk to and you're wingman and I'll
01:10:16
wingman it yeah I look over and there is
01:10:20
a model who's six foot whatever she is
01:10:23
stunning which which night was it this
01:10:25
this was uh last night oh after I left
01:10:28
so I literally I'm I'm sitting there
01:10:29
with DAR from Uber Lex and we're having
01:10:32
this nice conversation talking shop and
01:10:34
uh I'm like I'm gonna be right back I'm
01:10:36
gonna uh meet this girl this girl's
01:10:38
talking to like two guys you know tall
01:10:40
blue eyes Finance trust fun guys I walk
01:10:43
up to the guy I said pardon me I just
01:10:45
need to talk to her for one second I
01:10:47
said may I talk to you for 45 seconds
01:10:48
and then girl was like sure and I was
01:10:50
like I've got a great friend over here
01:10:52
he's um he's a little introverted um
01:10:55
he's single and by any chance are you
01:10:57
single she said yeah I'm single I said
01:10:59
would you like to meet my friend Lex
01:11:00
he's amazing and she I point him out she
01:11:02
goes oh what dides he do I said oh you
01:11:05
know he's like a you know he works in
01:11:06
podcasting or whatever and she's like oh
01:11:08
okay yeah I'd love to meet him and I
01:11:09
started out she doesn't know who Lex is
01:11:12
literally Lex got stopped twice as
01:11:14
muchis that a model didn't know who Lex
01:11:17
was I guess right now is that what's
01:11:20
happening yeah well I guess she's
01:11:24
watching leg she's like love to watch
01:11:27
this Ukrainian interview I thought she
01:11:28
was a fan I assume she was a fan of Sam
01:11:31
Harris you've got oh yeah I F
01:11:34
she Sam theory of SpaceTime
01:11:38
like I figure you know she might be into
01:11:41
quantum physics yeah yeah she could be
01:11:43
into global politics L whatever I I sit
01:11:47
her down she is an enamored with Lex
01:11:51
really enamored with Lex after meeting
01:11:53
him not knowing who he was she gets the
01:11:56
he gets the number wow they're going out
01:11:58
next week wow wow yep you're revealing
01:12:00
this this is exclusive news Well the
01:12:02
reason I'm repealing this is I am now
01:12:04
you get Lex's permission to no I don't
01:12:05
need Le Lex is on watching the live
01:12:07
stream right now in fact one of no he
01:12:09
did he just texted me that so anyway I
01:12:11
am now curating I am the uh gatekeeper
01:12:14
for Lex we're gonna match making could
01:12:16
be a very good business for you J I'm
01:12:18
gonna match so if celebrity M celebrity
01:12:22
celebrity podcast mm this could be a
01:12:24
good series on YouTube yeah this could
01:12:26
be big so if you're um if you're elegant
01:12:30
classy I wasn't just on Rya smart I
01:12:33
invested in the company I cold mailed
01:12:35
them and I info Ry app and said I use
01:12:39
your app every day I want to invest and
01:12:43
and this guy Jared from Facebook was Co
01:12:46
and he's like Pinkus you idiot I told
01:12:48
you check your email and then I invested
01:12:52
and their VCS had given up on them and
01:12:54
so I inv Ed how's it going over there
01:12:56
they're crushing it they are huh have
01:12:58
they gone cuz like the thing with all
01:12:59
dating apps is they always start with
01:13:01
like a niche and then after they get the
01:13:03
niche going and kind of if it's gonna
01:13:04
burn out they have to go wide I got some
01:13:07
it's like it's like it's like any
01:13:08
nightclub right like the nightclub
01:13:09
starts exclusive and then once it goes
01:13:11
mainstream people going my feature act
01:13:14
my opener on the road is on Rya nobody
01:13:17
knows who the this guy is what's
01:13:18
you doing on rot right but I'll say this
01:13:21
my take is dating apps are one out of 10
01:13:23
experience and Ry is a three out of 10
01:13:26
so I say it sucks three times less and
01:13:28
it's because there's a human curation
01:13:30
level so there's like some and you have
01:13:32
to have a real identity it's connected
01:13:34
to your Instagram assuming they vet it
01:13:36
so it's at least checked by somebody or
01:13:39
other and you can see if by the way I'm
01:13:42
not trying to shill them they don't even
01:13:43
want me talking about it they're doing
01:13:45
that well totally yeah speaking of
01:13:48
companies we're goingon to shill may I
01:13:49
once again recommend the folks that paid
01:13:52
for our set hims go to hims.com guys on
01:13:55

01:14:33
Allin I never in my life thought I would
01:14:36
ever do an ad read I I feel like I'm on
01:14:38
NPR never in my life usually I do we but
01:14:41
none of us none of us wanted to pay for
01:14:43
the set that we did this at and that we
01:14:45
did yesterday or the party we had so
01:14:47
we're like okay we'll do three sponsors
01:14:49
we've got to select them and I want to
01:14:51
say thank you to the guys for do they're
01:14:52
like hey you know we have like a little
01:14:54
uh consensus thing with the Pod hey is
01:14:57
everybody cool with this you a little
01:14:59
vote there's four of us so you know
01:15:00
three or four we go with Z was
01:15:01
originally gonna pay for our party by
01:15:03
the way and then he said well why don't
01:15:04
we all split it and that's when we said
01:15:05
okay yeah so then all of a sudden
01:15:07
freeberg was on the hook for 25 Dives
01:15:10
freeberg like
01:15:11
like by way the good thing is that the
01:15:14
party went from like was originally
01:15:15
gonna be like 50 people in a room at to
01:15:17
suddenly 250 taking over the whole
01:15:19
freaking place and we're like I don't
01:15:21
know maybe we should get a sponsor
01:15:23
sober was on hook for 25 dimes more that
01:15:27
it was a lot more than that I was like
01:15:28
we're selling a sponsorship I was like
01:15:30
well I think it was like well over 100k
01:15:32
and so he's like well I'm personally on
01:15:34
for 25 dimes I'm
01:15:39
reconsidering so this guy selling 48
01:15:42
hours I mean like it's great they're
01:15:44
great companies and we know them all we
01:15:46
we're investors in them we're all
01:15:47
investors in grock and we were at dinner
01:15:49
with sunny and Sunny's like I'll pay for
01:15:50
the thing great and we're like thank you
01:15:52
Sunny we love you so sunny at grock this
01:15:55
is a better way to do the ads because
01:15:56
it's tougher to skip on podcast you know
01:15:59
I can go plus 30 seconds plus 30 seconds
01:16:01
know we're dropping them randomly and
01:16:02
we're
01:16:03
making you got a lot of sponsorship
01:16:05
sorry everybody watches all the ads dude
01:16:08
and uh just shout out to our friends at
01:16:10
the flagrant podcast go ahead and
01:16:11
subscribe to flag podcast they've got
01:16:13
twice as many Subs as us uh because
01:16:16
candidly they're funny um and check out
01:16:20
uh a caution model watch our podcast
01:16:22
gasit you guys gasit
01:16:25
location wait hourong special gas
01:16:28
hourong special yes sir that's on where
01:16:30

01:16:33

01:16:34
like four million views four and half
01:16:36
million and yeah yeah and there's Baron
01:16:38
Trump can we hear the audio or camera
01:16:41
and there's Elon uh Baron do you guys
01:16:44
think Baron is um the character from
01:16:46
Dune the uh what are they call him the
01:16:49
what's the term Jal you know this I
01:16:51
thought you were going to go with
01:16:53
Omen omen inun what do they call him
01:16:56
like the the guy that sees the future uh
01:16:59
yeah I'm not sure um it bid other um
01:17:03
interesting oh is Joe Biden oh yeah
01:17:04
there he is um if you look at the
01:17:05
blankie and the couch in the back
01:17:08
there's Biden you can see Biden taking a
01:17:09
ceremonial nap he's in nap time he's
01:17:12
sitting they can't see him because he's
01:17:15
he's on the couch as it's customary the
01:17:17
outgoing president is taking his nap
01:17:19
taking his nappy poo and uh yeah he'll
01:17:22
be he'll be right back uh they're
01:17:24
getting him his juice box and oh and
01:17:26
there's uh by the way there's Apple Tim
01:17:28
Cook Tim Cook Apple Tim Cook um he looks
01:17:31
thrilled to be there oh my Lord look at
01:17:34
Tim C he's like I've got to go back to
01:17:36
San Francisco and face my
01:17:40
employees he looks like a hostage and
01:17:42
then look at Elon he's he's like really
01:17:44
processing and he's like this is gonna
01:17:45
be awesome elon's like when is this
01:17:47
gonna be over now solving season n of
01:17:50
Diablo in his brain yes while uh
01:17:53
figuring out the AR architecture of the
01:17:55
first moon base is that Eric Trump
01:17:58
that's who that is it was Eric Trump
01:17:59
blocked me on X many years ago block you
01:18:02
I I don't know I said something one of
01:18:04
the few huh yeah one of the few um he uh
01:18:07
he is uh the principal behind all these
01:18:10
great coins I'm impressed they're not on
01:18:12
their phones right now I think no phones
01:18:14
in the arena probably oh except they got
01:18:17
those bags how great are those bags that
01:18:19
you have at comedy clubs this is the
01:18:21
greatest thing ever right oh yeah yeah
01:18:22
the Yonder bags Yonder out To Yonder
01:18:26
they make life tolerable and they
01:18:28
brought comedy back yeah they really did
01:18:30
why because you can't film it live well
01:18:32
yeah so a lot of times if a comedian's
01:18:34
working on jokes a lot for especially if
01:18:36
it's like playing with the line it
01:18:38
starts off too far but then you kind of
01:18:40
refine it because the audience doesn't
01:18:41
laugh and then you find the place where
01:18:42
it's funny but if an audience member
01:18:44
films it early in its Inception then it
01:18:47
seems really unfunny the punch line
01:18:50
punch line is ruined it's probably more
01:18:51
offensive and then you're just kind of
01:18:53
you can't do that joke so getting
01:18:54
people to lock up the bags helps a lot
01:18:56
and then they're more present and
01:18:57
they're less likely I see it in my shows
01:18:59
we don't have the Yonder bags yet but
01:19:00
like people will be filming and whatever
01:19:02
and I don't mind but they're just like
01:19:04
distracted because they're not trying to
01:19:05
film The bit but they're just doing like
01:19:06
a you do a lot live to work on your
01:19:08
stuff like we went to some Club in
01:19:11
Manhattan that was like down not
01:19:14
downtown but like in the teens and it
01:19:17
was amazing I haven't seen Live Comedy
01:19:19
in so long they were crushing it yeah
01:19:22
it's all live and then you'll do some
01:19:24
short shows like that to like work on
01:19:26
the the hour You're Building you know
01:19:27
what's a bit annoying I heard that
01:19:29
people are doing and I don't know if
01:19:31
you're doing this but they're kind of
01:19:33
staging the crowd work I would never I
01:19:36
don't I was like never do that that so
01:19:38
annoying people would do that well
01:19:40
they're they're like kind of doing their
01:19:42
bits you know in a a stage in a set and
01:19:46
then releasing it on Tik
01:19:47
Tok and then it's not an actual bit it's
01:19:50
like super highly produced oh yeah I
01:19:53
can't IM met to me that's like stealing
01:19:55
a joke or and you know what's funny is
01:19:58
Andrew and I came up and we do a lot of
01:19:59
crowd work but we started in this place
01:20:01
where we would have to get you in off
01:20:02
the street and we would do shows for
01:20:04
like three people sometimes five people
01:20:06
sometimes so you couldn't just do your
01:20:08
jokes because it would be so weird so
01:20:10
you would have to talk to them do crowd
01:20:11
work kind of get some laughs and then
01:20:13
weave your joke in sneak it in so that's
01:20:15
how I got good at it and then but I
01:20:17
remember being like oh this is the only
01:20:19
unique moment that we have this whole
01:20:21
time cuz the jokes I love them but like
01:20:23
it's kind of a script at a certain point
01:20:25
you work on it you get the words right
01:20:27
and it's a little bit not inauthentic
01:20:29
but it's been done this crowd work thing
01:20:31
it's very exciting it could fall flat on
01:20:33
its face it could whatever so I can't
01:20:35
imagine planting someone to fake who's
01:20:37
the best at crowd work who's the best
01:20:39
right now at crowd workor I think
01:20:40
Andrew's really good I I put myself up
01:20:42
there I think Matt R is actually very
01:20:44
good at crowd work you have to be super
01:20:46
present are you scanning the audience
01:20:48
cataloging unique people who you think
01:20:50
like a hypnotist does for me I think
01:20:52
everybody's approach is different for me
01:20:54
I just talk to whoever's in the front
01:20:55
and then I just dig until I find
01:20:56
something that is funny so a lot of
01:20:58
times I'll ask what do you do and then
01:21:00
from there we'll see if there's or like
01:21:01
I'll ask about the relationship but I
01:21:03
want to dig into like interpersonal
01:21:05
stuff and like I dig until I find
01:21:07
something interesting and then we Hammer
01:21:09
that got it got it what's the what's the
01:21:11
what's the best moment you've had doing
01:21:13
crowd work D oh dude this is actually
01:21:14
filming my special so you do four shows
01:21:17
and then you kind of cut them together
01:21:19
with the best I remember after the first
01:21:21
show before the first show super nervous
01:21:23
first show I hit enough of my marks and
01:21:25
got enough words correctly where I'm
01:21:27
like I'm good in the next three shows
01:21:29
I'm going to have coverage who cares so
01:21:31
I remember saying to my my right-hand
01:21:33
man Kevin who films all my stuff I was
01:21:35
like I'm so relaxed for this second show
01:21:38
that it's almost making me nervous I'm
01:21:40
so not nervous but then randomly there's
01:21:42
this girl in the front that looks
01:21:43
completely white and she's with a brown
01:21:46
guy and then I make some joke and then
01:21:47
she says I'm not white and I'm like okay
01:21:49
what are you Italian turns out
01:21:51
she's Pakistani so I freak out I like
01:21:53
crouched on down on stage have like a
01:21:55
moment with her and I remember in my
01:21:57
head being like well let's just play
01:21:59
because I've got enough from the first
01:22:00
show who cares and then that ended up
01:22:02
being the most viral bit from yeah with
01:22:05
the yeah so and then she was really
01:22:07
sweet her boyfriend was really sweet
01:22:09
I've talked to them a little bit online
01:22:10
fiance was really sweet uh but yeah that
01:22:12
was like I couldn't believe that
01:22:13
happened during the special what did you
01:22:15
think of that uh Hassan Minaj um little
01:22:19
cruffle where can't can we can we cut to
01:22:21
this you you can exaggerate the funny
01:22:23
parts but you can't exaggerate serious
01:22:25
parts that's kind of the rule in comedy
01:22:27
so you can exaggerate the funny parts
01:22:29
but reality you can't lie or make up the
01:22:33
actual bones of Anthrax fell on my
01:22:35
daughter when Anthrax didn't fall on
01:22:36
your daughter to me that's even crazy to
01:22:38
like put in the universe right but
01:22:40
you're just manipulating the audience to
01:22:41
make them like you more without being
01:22:43
funnier if you're lying to be funnier
01:22:45
great that's what we have to do stories
01:22:47
aren't that
01:22:50
funny that's good so we can hear
01:22:54
oh we
01:22:55
are yeah yeah yeah definitely but this
01:22:57
is the the feed this is the live feed
01:22:59
this a C- span and um some Opera I think
01:23:02
we got like a direct we had a direct
01:23:03
White House theater and here comes
01:23:06
actually here comes Biden and kamla um
01:23:09
and let's take a look how are they
01:23:11
feeling at this moment KLA is
01:23:14
looking a little perturbed did you cat
01:23:17
what did you get what did you get there
01:23:19
mark what emotion is that I just don't
01:23:22
think she's this isn't the moment that
01:23:24
she was dreaming of you think she you
01:23:26
think she's going to become governor of
01:23:27
California oh God that would just be
01:23:31
disastrous that would be really painful
01:23:34
it's I I want to believe that the
01:23:38
corporate candidates are done that that
01:23:41
you're going to have to be authentic
01:23:43
authentic and that someone I still think
01:23:46
unfortunately it's hard for me to
01:23:48
believe that a non-d Democrat will make
01:23:50
it but I think that someone's gonna have
01:23:52
to emerge who at least tries to be
01:23:55
honest and authentic and present a real
01:23:58
human I love Cuban I hope Cuban runs I
01:24:01
think he's great seriously yeah because
01:24:02
I gotta tell youor guest wow I'm also a
01:24:06
Dallas Mavericks I'm from Dallas so
01:24:08
Mavericks I gotta tell you you love Mark
01:24:09
cubin loved Mark EV love Mark Ian I I
01:24:12
like him personally but I have to say I
01:24:15
don't really love him on Twitter and
01:24:18
I've been working with these AI hackers
01:24:20
on an app not promoting here it's not
01:24:22
even available called based or biased
01:24:24
and
01:24:24
and they used him to tune the app the
01:24:30
model for high bias low based because he
01:24:35
flips he's he deleted his prot Trump I
01:24:39
his anti-trump tweets he said he always
01:24:42
does that when the other side wins he
01:24:44
flipped I mean he I I have to say I'd
01:24:48
like to understand how did he go from he
01:24:49
was literally defending the the price
01:24:52
gouging is creating inflation to then
01:24:55
being on CNBC when they pushed him on
01:24:57
and saying well of course I don't
01:24:58
believe that so I'm just look well
01:25:01
that's crazy because I actually spoke to
01:25:03
him directly about this topic he really
01:25:05
did like believe that there was a
01:25:08
broader set of economic issues and it's
01:25:11
like Mark you know that price um uh
01:25:15
gouging creating artificial price caps
01:25:17
is going to lead to like a massive
01:25:19
problem and he actually felt like there
01:25:20
was a solution it it did not seem right
01:25:22
to me because he's not a he's he's not a
01:25:24
dumb guy I mean the guy like no he's
01:25:26
obviously very capable you know here's
01:25:28
the thing if you go all in I think he
01:25:30
did he went all in as effectively right
01:25:31
heed his team to win when you go all in
01:25:35
on political topics like this you lose
01:25:38
your objectivity to be part of the team
01:25:40
and I have seen this with a bunch of
01:25:42
friends who were extremely not in favor
01:25:45
of trump publicly eight years ago and
01:25:48
now that they are pro Trump they you
01:25:51
know re underwrite
01:25:52
re-evaluated and
01:25:54
they now and there's nothing wrong with
01:25:56
that by the way I think everyone that
01:25:59
wants to have a different point of view
01:26:01
as a different rationale has new data
01:26:04
they should not be shunned for the point
01:26:06
of view they held in the past absolutely
01:26:07
you can change your mind with new
01:26:08
information driving by however watching
01:26:11
a live stream i t okay what I will say
01:26:13
that I would never do and I see people
01:26:15
do is they will just absolutely ignore
01:26:21
criticism and the person can do nothing
01:26:23
wrong president Trump's coming into the
01:26:25
Hall here H we're on a delay he looks
01:26:28
pretty
01:26:30
serious it's all business maybe yeah I
01:26:33
think he's like let's get through this
01:26:34
so I can start signing executive orders
01:26:35
they got 100 200 they're gonna push
01:26:37
today that's the rumor I heard 500 now
01:26:39
I'm he yesterday up to 200
01:26:43
wow some of them lots of which are being
01:26:45
detailed and have been leaked early
01:26:48
including one on there are two genders
01:26:50
men and women did you see that one yeah
01:26:52
that one seems ridiculous but okay
01:26:55
that's an executive order it's a per
01:26:56
like there's a lot of performative and
01:26:58
does he have an executive order on
01:27:00
gravity and the of gravity yes that
01:27:03
seems completely performative yeah there
01:27:06
are two
01:27:07
genders agree or disagree just like what
01:27:09
is an executive order gonna do I mean
01:27:11
some of the stuff is to Pander to your
01:27:12
base or reward your base right which is
01:27:15
how call is Baron Trump I mean he looks
01:27:17
like he tall 6'5 yeah Baron's 2 in
01:27:20
taller than El elon's probably 6 my
01:27:22
girls no Baron Baron Trump is 69 they're
01:27:25
big Baron fans is he like cute is that
01:27:27
the thing we're talking to Mark P's
01:27:30
daughters P's daughters how old are you
01:27:32
guys okay 14-year-old daughters
01:27:35
declaring that Baron Trump is cute yeah
01:27:37
right breaking news I tell you what I
01:27:39
don't miss about being single uh being
01:27:41
tall is all you need and I'm 5'7 being
01:27:44
tall is all that it takes really nothing
01:27:46
else matters it's so I'm 5'6 oh yeah
01:27:50
yeah yeah 5'8 and a half on a good day
01:27:52
yeah um he is tall um and he does have a
01:27:56
trust
01:27:57
fund don't know if he's got blue eyes he
01:27:59
could also be whispering from the future
01:28:01
we don't know Jakel like much of this
01:28:03
could be predestined and he could be
01:28:04
driving the future with The Whispers
01:28:06
that he provides so okay here's the over
01:28:08
under let's get a bet now is he going to
01:28:11
address the crowd he gives a b bit of a
01:28:12
speech yeah yeah well apparently after
01:28:15
the swearing in ceremony I don't know if
01:28:16
it's right away but that's when he gives
01:28:17
his um opening statement as it were yeah
01:28:20
which apparently it's like it's supposed
01:28:21
to be like the same quality of a state
01:28:23
of the union like there's a so but do
01:28:25
you guys can you guys find out does he
01:28:26
do it right afterwards or so let's let's
01:28:28
get some wagering here what is the over
01:28:30
under do we know how many minutes Biden
01:28:33
did last you know what we should have
01:28:34
done was could have done a poly Market
01:28:36
we could have done poly Market real time
01:28:39
we should have done a poly Market on how
01:28:40
many
01:28:42
executive we should have we won't be
01:28:45
able to they're starting but see if you
01:28:47
we should have done a poly Market how
01:28:49
many um executive orders were going to
01:28:51
get published today yeah yeah yeah that
01:28:53
it did keep growing it was like oh
01:28:54
there's going to be 20 50 100 now
01:28:56
there's 200 well you should do a poly
01:28:58
Market on whether Doge completes by July
01:29:02
Fourth next year well we have one which
01:29:04
is um will the deficit that's different
01:29:07
though different that's gonna be a
01:29:08
function of I think that's an easy one
01:29:10
and and as much as the audio up guys
01:29:13
yeah so we see a bunch of people
01:29:15
clapping these are I guess donors these
01:29:17
look like donors to me my Lord people
01:29:20
watching also by the way
01:29:24
has pass fresh badly here's another
01:29:26
piece of inside information Mark you can
01:29:27
talk about this as well but like a lot
01:29:29
of people donate a lot of money come out
01:29:31
to the inauguration had special VIP
01:29:33
tickets there was a whole setting with
01:29:35
all the seats and where they were
01:29:35
supposed to be and then when they moved
01:29:37
it all indoors a lot of people lost
01:29:39
their seats and they lost their special
01:29:40
treatment for their seven figure
01:29:42
donations is that is that right so
01:29:44
there's a lot of a lot of scrambling
01:29:46
this weekend on like where am I gonna
01:29:47
sit am I going to be able to go how am I
01:29:49
going to go and obviously chamat ended
01:29:51
up going a couple of our other friends
01:29:52
are in there but um
01:29:55
there a lot of folks that that had you
01:29:56
know very special tickets oh by the way
01:29:58
I want to give a shout out my five week
01:30:02
old baby Luchia is watching our podcast
01:30:05
she's one of the
01:30:07
20,000 that's
01:30:11
awesome here's JD oh here's
01:30:16
JD they always were a red tie is that a
01:30:19
blue and the red is a republican thing I
01:30:22
think it's a presidential I don't have
01:30:26
I'm wearing my blue uh suit jacket today
01:30:29
and my blue
01:30:30
jeans Jason can we get you to wear a red
01:30:32
tie I I wore a red tie when Trump was on
01:30:35
the Pod so when Trump came on the Pod
01:30:37
these guys are like what are you wearing
01:30:38
what are you wearing they're all kind of
01:30:39
doing this gamesmanship they're like
01:30:41
anybody wearing a tie nobody says
01:30:43
anything so I'm not gonna lie so I don't
01:30:44
say anything turn my camera J lot and
01:30:46
get them to like show up ra like so I'm
01:30:49
like you know what you guys weren't
01:30:50
giving me a lot I'm going to you were
01:30:52
fine turn my camera off and second Trump
01:30:54
comes on I'm gonna put the tie
01:30:56
on and then turn on and then give these
01:30:57
guys and they're like oh you're
01:30:58
wearing a tie I'm like well Mr President
01:31:02
Trump is here what person in their right
01:31:04
mind would not wear a tie if the
01:31:06
president of the United States took the
01:31:07
time to go to B these three guys are
01:31:09
like oh God
01:31:11
bastard I did now did you did you wear
01:31:14
yoga clothes or did you actually put a
01:31:17
suit on when the president we didn't put
01:31:18
a suit on you just no it was like a
01:31:19
discussion beforehand was like we're not
01:31:21
we're not doing that changinging
01:31:23
sticking we want to be as much us as
01:31:25
possible and have him be as much him as
01:31:26
possible got it that's our goal with
01:31:28
every guess and he wants to wear a suit
01:31:30
yeah he wore the suit never see him not
01:31:32
what was the best moment of in your mind
01:31:34
of his podcast tour funniest interaction
01:31:37
he had on the podcast oh dude him him
01:31:39
and Theo talking about doing cocaine was
01:31:41
so oh that was the best I literally was
01:31:42
gonna say the same one yeah I thought we
01:31:44
had like so it makes you feel great I
01:31:46
thought him talking about the weave on
01:31:47
our pod was so funny um and just like
01:31:50
acknowledging it yeah uh but yeah I
01:31:52
thought I just what a what run you guys
01:31:54
tried to get K on too right I mean we
01:31:57
tried multi times many times we tried to
01:31:59
get did she do any long form podcast she
01:32:02
did uh call her daddy for 40 minutes
01:32:04
yeah so yeah um very controlled setting
01:32:07
very very controlled they spent a
01:32:09
billion dollars on the set yeah and they
01:32:10
controlled it and then she Biden did
01:32:13
Howard Stern when he was still running
01:32:15
and Howard obviously is super in the bag
01:32:17
uh for the Dems and he did a 40 minute
01:32:22
softball like was super disappointed as
01:32:24
a Stern fan like no comedy nothing he
01:32:28
was just sick of
01:32:30
phantom if you have them there why
01:32:33
wouldn't you try to get some comedy out
01:32:35
of them get some new information even
01:32:38
softball comedy yeah sure I mean get a
01:32:41
chuckle get get a A Unique Piece of
01:32:43
insight it's like such a wasted
01:32:44
opportunity you know to have somebody of
01:32:46
that stature but that I think that well
01:32:49
what do you think her not doing them was
01:32:52
because she's not capable of doing them
01:32:54
or it was a just huge strategic mistake
01:32:57
I don't know I hope I want to give her
01:32:59
credit and say it was the team they just
01:33:01
had her so locked into whatever they
01:33:03
thought was right but they told us that
01:33:05
because we had Trump on it was too big
01:33:07
of a risk to have her on which we asked
01:33:09
them both at the same time she
01:33:11
wasn't really receptive before that
01:33:13
either but uh it was an air kiss there
01:33:16
was an air kiss that was a total Eric
01:33:19
is Melania counting the minutes for this
01:33:21
to be over right trying to cover I'm
01:33:24
trying to figure out who is less
01:33:26
interested in be here Tim cooker
01:33:33
her I think he's gonna kiss that guy I
01:33:35
don't know who that is uh that's got to
01:33:39
be a mega
01:33:40
donor this is where AI would be super
01:33:42
helpful and facial Rec yeah or did they
01:33:45
say what they're saying to read their
01:33:46
lips oh real time lip reading yeah my
01:33:49
favorite is when they took the Obama
01:33:50
conversation with him and they just
01:33:54
with like oh yeah great voiceovers on it
01:34:00
um oh we are getting delayed I think
01:34:03
yeah I can't imagine uh yeah that says
01:34:06
11:43 and it's currently no it's 11
01:34:11
114
01:34:13
people ah cable yeah I would think they
01:34:16
would put this a couple of minutes
01:34:17
behind for safety reasons they must be
01:34:19
on some sort of delay God forbid
01:34:21
something where it happen but there was
01:34:23
obviously some some credible threat I
01:34:25
think going on here I don't think this
01:34:26
has anything to do with the cold because
01:34:28
today is no colder than previous yeah
01:34:30
things this is obviously the two
01:34:32
assassination attempts but do you think
01:34:34
after this run there's going to be was
01:34:36
freezing it's the same it was colder at
01:34:39
the last couple I was breaking my bones
01:34:41
walking over it was sool youve been in
01:34:43
California for by the way I'm wearing
01:34:44
like ski long johns too today it's like
01:34:47
are you literally got Longs under there
01:34:48
weing your hot chilies yeah I dude well
01:34:50
what happened last night when we left
01:34:52
that restaurant we walk out hot chil we
01:34:54
went to dinner right by the capital
01:34:56
Arena where they had the rally last
01:34:57
night and we didn't know that there was
01:34:59
this rally so basically all the streets
01:35:00
they put up these fences and these
01:35:01
barricade you cannot move if they put
01:35:03
the so we walk out and there's no cars
01:35:05
and we had a driver but the guy was like
01:35:07
far far away a mile away more than for
01:35:10
our guy he was like 1.7 miles down the
01:35:12
road we walk out and the streets are
01:35:14
empty because it was late there was no
01:35:16
way to get to him so we start
01:35:18
walking oh I swear to God did you like
01:35:21
walk out last night and try and like
01:35:22
like how far did you walk when you left
01:35:24
that restaurant it took me 25 minutes I
01:35:27
walked over a mile I thought we were
01:35:28
going get my car I mean dud we were with
01:35:30
Vinnie and Vinnie Vinnie started
01:35:31
screaming and freaking out he ran back
01:35:32
to the restaurant like jumped back in
01:35:34
and then he found a scooter and he took
01:35:36
off he's like I can't move I can't do
01:35:37
anything and he jumped on the scooter I
01:35:38
have no idea if he survived last night I
01:35:40
don't know where I made a huge strategic
01:35:41
art I was like you know what sorry what
01:35:43
do you think Amy kashar is saying right
01:35:45
now well she's the chairperson of the um
01:35:48
inauguration committee I think so she
01:35:50
organizes the inauguration regardless of
01:35:53
who the win or was I believe so so you
01:35:55
think she's I think she's welcoming
01:35:56
everyone you can turn up guys yeah we
01:35:58
can get like a half sound here and talk
01:35:59
over it that' be fine
01:36:01
5050
01:36:05
have oh so she's giving uh flowers to
01:36:08
Biden Biden and K probably yeah to get
01:36:10
their
01:36:12
flowers
01:36:16
ocy many and vice here today is truly
01:36:21
aest I thought the claim was that
01:36:23
democracy
01:36:25
end I think that's like a little bit of
01:36:27
a
01:36:32
shot and this is a testament to
01:36:35
democracy that
01:36:36
despite all of mainstream media you know
01:36:40
not wanting this candidate and being
01:36:43
outspent this candidate won it is also
01:36:46
amazing that despite all the negative
01:36:48
being hurled at each party by the other
01:36:50
group in the United States they all come
01:36:52
back together they get together the
01:36:53
capital building they transfer power and
01:36:56
the country moves on and the next
01:36:58
Administration begins it's it's a pretty
01:37:01
powerful and amazing that's what I
01:37:02
actually thought the clip of trump and
01:37:03
Obama laughing totally and I think it
01:37:06
was such a powerful like reconciliation
01:37:08
right like yeah totally well I think
01:37:09
it's also great for the world to see
01:37:11
that we're United and and they can see
01:37:12
this democracy where they thought oh my
01:37:13
God America's fracturing it's over Civil
01:37:16
War and then they get together they do
01:37:17
the belly tap don't you wonder if this
01:37:19
is like like Fighters that are trying to
01:37:21
promote the fight and they look like
01:37:23
they hate other and then they actually
01:37:25
totally that's the thing about it
01:37:26
they're all acquaintances but for the
01:37:30
idiots who believe all of it too much
01:37:32
the guys out there chatting USA it's
01:37:34
nice to see that it's not oh hey we're
01:37:36
still getting it's like this guy's not
01:37:38
Hitler they're not they didn't destroy
01:37:39
the country things keep going
01:37:49
cource this is ridiculous they didn't do
01:37:51
it that said I want to see these people
01:37:53
freezing I froze many times this trip
01:37:57
and I made a huge strategic AR they're
01:37:59
like espe last and they're allowed to go
01:38:00
through the barricades we weren't even
01:38:01
allowed to go through yeah and freeberg
01:38:03
and John are like we've got you security
01:38:04
we've got you a driver the whole thing
01:38:06
you know first class you know whatever
01:38:08
I'm like oh that's fantastic I'm like
01:38:09
Jade's like probably should take a coat
01:38:11
my wife said probably need a coat I'm
01:38:12
like you know what I'm gonna be in the
01:38:13
car gonna go from the car to the front
01:38:14
door no you didn't bring a coat didn't
01:38:17
bring a coat I mean I'm wearing a suit
01:38:18
jacket you were running around last
01:38:19
night after dinner without a coat no
01:38:22
coat no
01:38:24
I don't drink so I I was feeling the
01:38:27
absolute pain of
01:38:30
it as president lincol once reminded us
01:38:34
but to view others with a generosity of
01:38:37
spirit despite our differences with that
01:38:40
responsibility of leadership comes an
01:38:43
obligation to stand our ground when we
01:38:46
must and
01:38:48
find
01:38:50
yeah well this is going to be I think
01:38:52
this is fair predictable right like yeah
01:38:55
I mean it's very scripted very obvious
01:38:58
the the really great moment is how does
01:39:00
Trump start this like what do you what's
01:39:03
your prediction here is he gonna come
01:39:04
out and just start dunking on people is
01:39:07
he gonna just I don't think be
01:39:08
magnanimous he didn't even do that in
01:39:10
2016 I remember his first address was
01:39:12
like trying to stabilize everything yeah
01:39:14
we're gonna fix the
01:39:15
infrastructure yeah I remember the
01:39:17
markets were crashing and he came out
01:39:18
and was pretty stable I think he's going
01:39:20
to do the same thing this time I mean we
01:39:22
this is I think the real this will be
01:39:24
the real test is starting today and
01:39:25
tomorrow what do these executive orders
01:39:27
say what's the actual agenda how much of
01:39:30
what he said on the election Trail was
01:39:36
uh cap and how much was strategy how
01:39:39
much was to get voter turnout and to
01:39:42
enrage people and to get them to the
01:39:44
voting booth and and how much of it is
01:39:46
actually real we'll see so Joe Biden I
01:39:49
guess on his way out pardoned his family
01:39:52
James Biden Sarah Jones Biden Valerie
01:39:54
Biden Owens T Owens Francis Biden on his
01:39:58
way out the door for any crimes they may
01:40:01
have committed now or I guess maybe in
01:40:04
the future I don't know how this is is
01:40:06
defined I just feel like this pardoning
01:40:09
thing is um needs to kind of be revoked
01:40:13
to the power of Pardon you know the
01:40:15
whole idea was like you can protect your
01:40:16
polit from political persecution I
01:40:18
actually do think that would be the case
01:40:20
but if the courts work like there
01:40:21
shouldn't be this concept that's true
01:40:23
that's true right that's a good point
01:40:25
and then we're just throwing out
01:40:26
thousands of Pardons like yeah it almost
01:40:29
feels like you're taking away the power
01:40:32
you know of the judicial branch of
01:40:33
government like you're just saying like
01:40:36
yeah that's a good point all right
01:40:37
30,000 people watching us across both
01:40:39
platforms X and YouTube and yes the
01:40:42
Biden um preemptive pardons fouchy
01:40:45
that's incredibly disappointing what's
01:40:47
your take on the fouchy situation you
01:40:50
think I'm not nearly well educated
01:40:52
enough obviously most of the people in
01:40:54
the podcast world that I'm a part of
01:40:56
were very antiac very whatever I do
01:40:59
think the mandates went too far but I
01:41:01
don't even know you're gonna have to
01:41:01
break down to me what could he be
01:41:03
prosecuted for right well I do think it
01:41:05
was probably a created
01:41:07
virus someone else well
01:41:09
think I mean part of the concept was
01:41:12
that he um lied to the public and that
01:41:14
there was a cover up and that there was
01:41:16
a deliberate knowledge about the origins
01:41:19
that they made an effort I mean there's
01:41:21
a lot of lot at the very least they
01:41:23
structed Justice they and they literally
01:41:26
could have very easily oh thank you sir
01:41:29
mark thank you for getting me a te
01:41:31
anybody need a tea with honey or coffee
01:41:33
I would love a water possible so
01:41:37
much thank you so much who's this de fer
01:41:42
the great state of
01:41:43
Nebraska she's absolutely thrilled to be
01:41:46
here Nebraska is negative 10 degrees
01:41:48
right now she's like oh my God we get to
01:41:50
go south and have this incredible warm
01:41:52
climate
01:41:59
so were you going to go to the
01:42:00
inauguration to the swearing end
01:42:01
ceremony honestly I don't even know I
01:42:03
had some it said I thought it said West
01:42:07
Lawn that's what a lot of people said
01:42:08
they didn't know exactly where when that
01:42:10
that were like invited and then they
01:42:13
didn't and then after they moved it
01:42:14
indoors a lot of people were like then
01:42:16
it became Capital One Center Capital One
01:42:19
Center
01:42:21
Arena which is where we went to last
01:42:23
night I left party early because my
01:42:27
girls want they wanted to see Trump
01:42:29
they're like we came all the way here
01:42:31
and so went to the rally we trudged for
01:42:33
25 minutes in the snow to the rally um
01:42:37
and it was it was fun I know none of us
01:42:39
ever been to a trump rally I me it's
01:42:41
amazing like I thought it's like standup
01:42:43
comedy that he just hits track and
01:42:45
repeats things um X came on stage and
01:42:49
ran around yeah Elon son Elon son yeah I
01:42:52
saw that clip yeah have you been to a
01:42:54
trump rally no I have not have you no I
01:42:57
kind of regret not going to like one of
01:42:59
the like rallies in the south at like
01:43:02
you know a rodeo or something I would
01:43:03
like to see that like from a cultural
01:43:05
perspective a rodeo like he would do
01:43:07
these things and you know Nebraska or
01:43:10
you know Kentucky whatever like I would
01:43:11
like to see him you live Texas you can
01:43:13
go to a rodeo wow sure I would like to
01:43:15
see him at one I've been to a r u i got
01:43:18
to meet tulsey that was quite nice she
01:43:20
came to the party at the Allin yeah
01:43:24
yeah she was great Tulsi we didn't talk
01:43:27
about this but she was supposed to be at
01:43:29
the Allin um
01:43:31
Summit and very last minute cancel
01:43:34
because she W she had to actually I
01:43:37
guess we can talk about this now she had
01:43:38
to leave town to go work on prep with
01:43:42
the president for the debate that
01:43:44
happened right after the all in Summit
01:43:45
in September so we she was a last minute
01:43:47
cancel for us oh W
01:43:50
yeah but yeah she was at our event we
01:43:53
had Doug beram at our event I had a
01:43:55
funny moment with her over and she was
01:43:57
quite kind and she's like oh I'm such a
01:43:58
fan of the podcast you're amazing J
01:44:00
world's greatest moderator she was
01:44:02
incredbly she really sheally said that
01:44:04
she watches every show she was effusive
01:44:06
and I was like oh my God that's so
01:44:08
amazing I'm happy to take a selfie and
01:44:10
she laughed and I said that was a
01:44:13
preemptive selfie move I want to get the
01:44:15
selfie no no I offered it as a joke I
01:44:18
said after she was super abusive I said
01:44:20
I am happy to so great to meet you I'm
01:44:22
happy to take aelf he laughed and I said
01:44:25
well let's do it for the gram and um I
01:44:26
was actually going to ask you for one
01:44:28
she laughed and we took one I had a
01:44:29
great moment with Bobby Kennedy oh
01:44:31
really do tell yeah it was um you know a
01:44:34
little bit of a hug and he showed great
01:44:36
appreciation and he was so he was
01:44:38
extremely effusive about coming on be
01:44:40
all in pod and he said it really did
01:44:42
change the trajectory of the campaign
01:44:43
for me and made a huge impact on my life
01:44:45
so he was like thank you so much I'm
01:44:47
like I'm gonna be calling you I'm gonna
01:44:49
be calling you i'mna be calling how do
01:44:51
you feel about genetic strawberries
01:44:53
right well I was kind of going the other
01:44:56
direction organic I'm like let's go take
01:44:58
care of the microplastics please yes
01:45:00
yeah I would like get the microplastics
01:45:01
out of my balls yeah that's coming from
01:45:04
HS hims.com alling mics out of your
01:45:07
balls they come next tea bags right
01:45:10
supposed to be like we're getting it all
01:45:11
through the so there was a study this
01:45:13
week that showed millions of measurable
01:45:16
microplastic particles from each tea bag
01:45:19
I read that because they yeah you know
01:45:21
it's such a bummer I so much tea it's
01:45:24
all synthetic fibers which are basically
01:45:26
you know long Plastics
01:45:29
thatan um when you go skiing in this
01:45:32
like off piece kind of serious situation
01:45:35
you have to have a guide yeah because
01:45:37
you could get in a tree well or go off a
01:45:39
cliff and you need somebody to dig you
01:45:41
out basically save your life and so um
01:45:44
my guy nooshi we were talking about te
01:45:48
and he uh was lamenting the issue around
01:45:52
Mach
01:45:53
in Japan that you know like 80% of it
01:45:56
has you know microplastics this
01:45:58
chemicals and that there's a whole thing
01:46:00
going on in Japan right now they're
01:46:02
testing all the maches to find
01:46:05
microplastic I think it's mostly for
01:46:06
chemicals right I don't think
01:46:08
microplastics the thing because it's so
01:46:10
hard to detect there's a there's a very
01:46:12
specific like measurement of like
01:46:14
physics and stuff that you need to do
01:46:15
did you see the entrepreneur who's doing
01:46:18
uh testing foods like what's his name um
01:46:20
I forgot what oh yeah yeah yeah yeah Z
01:46:24
this guy's he's reporting it all out
01:46:26
yeah he's basically Twitter yeah
01:46:28
somebody will look it up producer Nick
01:46:29
look it up um it's um if you don't mind
01:46:32
there's this guy who's a entrepreneur
01:46:34
he's um partners with a guy from Pioneer
01:46:35
Labs uh they put a bunch of h100 outs
01:46:38
and gave people time on their their GPU
01:46:41
grid oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
01:46:44
uh Freeman Matt Freeman Freeman it might
01:46:48
be yeah anyway they he's really spent
01:46:50
half a million of his own Capital to
01:46:52
like test this and publish it so he took
01:46:54
like basic off the shell foods and
01:46:57
measured kind of known carcinogenic
01:46:59
compound levels and showed them and it's
01:47:02
it's quite surprising basically and one
01:47:04
of the more more interesting points in
01:47:05
the study was when you take food and
01:47:08
take out in plastic takeout containers
01:47:10
yes this was ter eating it in the
01:47:12
restaurant it's like so bad the plastic
01:47:15
takeout containers even in just a few
01:47:16
minutes are leeching a ton of chemistry
01:47:19
it's a topic now we with the baby we've
01:47:22
been ordering a lot and now it's just
01:47:25
painful had a really cool startup we
01:47:26
incubated that didn't make it and what
01:47:28
they were doing was ordering in bulk
01:47:30
taking mason jars and then you would
01:47:33
order your sugar your barley whatever
01:47:35
you Oats um and they would just put
01:47:37
everything in glass bottles they would
01:47:39
bring it to your house then they would
01:47:41
when they're putting stuff in your
01:47:41
cabinet they would look if you get below
01:47:43
50% on anything they just replenish it
01:47:46
and I was like this is the greatest
01:47:48
1center concept that if you could make
01:47:50
this work where your cupboard is
01:47:52
beautifully like Marie condo yeah yeah
01:47:55
but all organic All Glass and then you
01:47:59
know if you can make a scale just think
01:48:01
about how much less packaging when
01:48:02
you're in Europe they will have
01:48:04
toothpaste and they have to put it in a
01:48:07
bushel without any plastic on it without
01:48:09
paper because they have to take it back
01:48:12
so what people do in Europe is if you
01:48:15
are getting your groceries you can just
01:48:17
take all the packaging and just throw it
01:48:18
and give it to the supermarket they have
01:48:20
to dispose of it yeah yeah yeah because
01:48:21
you actually pay
01:48:23
can't see the feet oh here we
01:48:25
go oh here we go uh plastic list is that
01:48:29
what it's called plastic list yeah so we
01:48:31
do a search for that uh we collected 775
01:48:34
samples of 312 foods and but it's
01:48:36
amazing that he has to go do this there
01:48:38
should there must be some well it's not
01:48:41
body that does yeah there hasn't it's
01:48:42
called the government if they did L
01:48:44
donations yeah they well where who who
01:48:47
you know big a and all these people are
01:48:49
giving them money right well no that's
01:48:51
is that really what happened isue at all
01:48:53
no I think like throughout the whole
01:48:54
food supply chain we use plastic we use
01:48:57
like synthetic materials because they're
01:48:58
cheaper ways to store and move stuff and
01:49:01
our entire world is built with like
01:49:03
right here I'm like water bottle that's
01:49:05
right well think about how expensive it
01:49:07
would be to take like glass and fill it
01:49:09
with water and move it those are like
01:49:10
four times five times 10 times as
01:49:12
expensive so all containers that we make
01:49:15
in the world are plastic because they're
01:49:16
more affordable lighter weight more
01:49:18
transportable and now we're recognizing
01:49:20
that that plastic isn't stable that
01:49:22
there's little bits of it that break off
01:49:24
that end up in the environment end up in
01:49:25
our bodies and accumulate it turns out
01:49:26
they actually accumulate in our cells
01:49:28
and as they accumulate they have
01:49:30
disruptive effects and I think this is
01:49:32
like very like recent like there's a
01:49:35
series of papers that have been coming
01:49:36
out over the last year or two and
01:49:38
everyone's suddenly waking up to this so
01:49:39
the microplastic problem is something
01:49:41
that will certainly trigger a bunch of
01:49:43
FDA review a bunch of EPA review if RFK
01:49:46
gets approved and I know I think that's
01:49:48
all I actually think this is a big thing
01:49:49
everyone's cognizant of it on both sides
01:49:51
of the aisle I've talked to a lot of
01:49:52
people people know that it's a real
01:49:53
thing and there's no like vested
01:49:54
interest big X Big Y super vested
01:49:58
interest I'll take the other side of
01:49:59
that I think you know for these
01:50:02
companies you know they are focused on
01:50:06
profitability right like like Archer
01:50:08
Daniels Midland Proctor and Gamble optim
01:50:11
none those companies have people that
01:50:12
are like oh we should be putting
01:50:13
chemicals in food because it's going to
01:50:15
hurt people everyone but they would
01:50:17
never test it and release it unless they
01:50:19
had a gun to their head as my yeah and
01:50:20
so at the end of the day the truth is
01:50:22
this stuff is going Drive the cost of
01:50:23
food of storage of materials up which is
01:50:26
what it's going to end up having to be
01:50:27
which was what it should always have
01:50:28
been uh and here's JD van being swor in
01:50:32
he's being sworn in that I will bear
01:50:34
true faith that I will bear true faith
01:50:37
and allegiance to the same and
01:50:38
allegiance to the same that I take this
01:50:41
obligation freely that I take this
01:50:43
obligation freely without any mental
01:50:46
reservation without any mental
01:50:48
reservation or purpose of purpose of
01:50:51
evasion and that well and Faithfully
01:50:55
discharge and that I will well and
01:50:57
Faithfully discharge the duties of the
01:50:59
office duties of the office on which I'm
01:51:02
about to enter on which I'm about to
01:51:04
enter so help me God so help me God
01:51:06
congratulations Mr Vice imagine your
01:51:09
peter chill right now at home and you're
01:51:11
just like oh my God half court shot boom
01:51:13
yeah what a deep out- of the money bet
01:51:16
he made on Amazing on JD Vance I mean
01:51:19
and the fact that Trump picked JD Vance
01:51:22
that was incredibly unpopular yeah
01:51:24
incredibly unpopular I didn't love it I
01:51:26
don't love it well and it was a at the
01:51:28
time you know he was polling as
01:51:31
unbelievably unlikable yeah and then the
01:51:34
Democrats were like can we make this guy
01:51:36
more likable and then they found Tim W
01:51:38
yeah they're like let's find somebody
01:51:41
who makes JD more palatable to America
01:51:43
it's absolutely amazing that Sundar is
01:51:45
right behind the president you know CEO
01:51:47
of Google they were talking about
01:51:48
breaking up Google big Tech is bad these
01:51:50
guys are on stage right behind showing
01:51:53
off American Enterprise they're showing
01:51:54
off America's biggest most successful
01:51:56
companies and they're saying these are
01:51:58
the innovators these are the
01:51:58
entrepreneurs that have made America
01:52:00
successful made our economy Thrive made
01:52:02
it grow which is the opposite of what
01:52:04
was happening with the Democrats where
01:52:06
they were like saying everyone who's a
01:52:07
billionaire is bad all of these
01:52:08
companies are awful there's a tech
01:52:10
oligarchy on the way out the door he's
01:52:12
writing there's a tech oligarchy taking
01:52:14
over and at the end of the day these are
01:52:15
like the great you know employers of the
01:52:18
country Jeff Bezos employs millions of
01:52:20
people now across the country and for
01:52:22
whatever you want to say about it
01:52:24
they're job creators they're I I had
01:52:26
lunch I had lunch with Elizabeth Warren
01:52:28
when she was running for president I
01:52:30
can't even say why but I sat down there
01:52:34
and I said oh Trump is oh I don't want
01:52:37
to talk over Trump there he goes he
01:52:39
finished his uh oath of office shaking
01:52:42
some hands here Biden's hand is he
01:52:44
giving his talk now guys you know okay
01:52:47
later okay okay well that's the end of
01:52:50
the swearing in so congratulations now
01:52:52
cut to the oathkeepers who are breaching
01:52:54
the capital they're firing on the
01:52:56
capital they're firing on the capital
01:52:59
that's not even sorry it's not even
01:53:01
funny I mean you all
01:53:03
laugh come on was that funny that was uh
01:53:05
honestly I was in my head but that was
01:53:07
really funny
01:53:08
no I wish I had heard it in time that
01:53:11
would
01:53:12
been oh my
01:53:14
Lord has anyone seen David saaks um you
01:53:18
would think he Cham chamat is in the
01:53:20
other room but saak should be up there
01:53:23
there's Sundar SAR trying to lean over
01:53:25
there's Jeff Bezos
01:53:27
Elon I mean it really is amazing to see
01:53:30
like should
01:53:32
be yeah I mean this aming we need the
01:53:34
world in this and it's like why would
01:53:37
why was like you know or or success I
01:53:40
mean let's call it what it is you know
01:53:42
these are all to mention the fact that
01:53:44
like google.com has had a pretty decent
01:53:45
impact on the world everyone can access
01:53:47
the internet and search for stuff and
01:53:49
the number of Amazon made it possible
01:53:51
for everyone to order stuff that gets
01:53:52
delivered to your house grateful be
01:53:54
grateful two delivery on like the
01:53:57
innovation in this country and what like
01:53:59
free enterprise has enabled it's
01:54:01
incredible and it should be celebrated
01:54:03
and yeah you think the inflation versus
01:54:05
cronyism versus kleptocracies like other
01:54:08
other systems of governing and like
01:54:10
economic like models that are just but
01:54:13
do you think that the inflation somehow
01:54:15
got in the psyche of Voters that they
01:54:17
realized like this Zero Sum approach
01:54:21
isn't going to work we need some not
01:54:23
that they thought about it like in this
01:54:25
economic terms but that we we actually
01:54:27
need growth we need industry to go
01:54:30
somewhere I don't know if people get
01:54:31
people are much more like dude things
01:54:33
are expensive I can't get a better job I
01:54:34
can't make more money this is if
01:54:35
inflation hadn't been as bad as it was
01:54:39
um they they probably would have won if
01:54:41
they had it primary I I believe that you
01:54:43
know how expensive eggs are now and and
01:54:45
they did a better job getting the base
01:54:47
out and getting moderates you know not
01:54:50
taking anything away from Trump's
01:54:51
Victory but
01:54:53
they literally put a terrible candidate
01:54:55
and didn't have an open process that's
01:54:56
an important lesson for them yep like
01:54:58
Americans can kind of like the idea of
01:55:01
democracy and choice yeah right and that
01:55:03
and they love capitalism this idea that
01:55:05
they don't love capitalism yeah somebody
01:55:07
had a bit I think it was shapel or
01:55:09
whoever and they're like you know the
01:55:11
the the Democrats were going to black
01:55:13
people to Hispanic people and tell them
01:55:14
that these billionaires are bad people
01:55:16
and they're like wait a second we want
01:55:19
to learn how to be that's my goal I want
01:55:22
to be a billionaire I want to be a mogul
01:55:24
and they just misread the room like
01:55:25
people are not interested in talking
01:55:27
about issues that impact 1% of people
01:55:31
like Dei or trans rights like I'm not
01:55:33
saying any of that stuff is not
01:55:35
important but it's not as important as
01:55:37
like people having jobs people being
01:55:39
able to be safe in their cities I do
01:55:41
think we don't love billionaires and
01:55:42
there's an idea that it's not fair and
01:55:44
once they get the the I mean use a poker
01:55:46
analogy once you got the big stack you
01:55:47
can bully everyone at the table and I
01:55:49
don't think people love that but I think
01:55:50
to what you were saying earlier we just
01:55:52
felt as the poor person in the room we
01:55:54
just felt everything else is too I don't
01:55:57
give a about that as much as I care
01:55:58
about things being affordable for me and
01:56:01
then like you said Dei we don't care I
01:56:02
want things to be affordable whatever's
01:56:05
going on in Israel is in nuts like I
01:56:06
just want peace I want Tranquility kind
01:56:08
of like in 2020 we were just tired of
01:56:10
all the madness with the pandemic we're
01:56:12
like let's just I want to feel something
01:56:13
different I think it same it's actually
01:56:16
but the idea that that like Elon has
01:56:19
taken something this zero some idea that
01:56:22
has somehow gotten his money because he
01:56:24
took it from other Americans it to me
01:56:28
that's that's the real well the auto
01:56:30
manufacturers are losing and they are
01:56:33
going to get wrecked with Tesla and I
01:56:36
think that there are industries that
01:56:38
were disrupted by the internet there
01:56:40
were small retail shops that were
01:56:42
disrupted by Amazon but the pi grew so
01:56:44
much the pi got so much bigger I mean
01:56:46
that's the thing and thank God those are
01:56:48
us companies yeah we have the
01:56:50
unemployment of our
01:56:53
but there is a disruptive effect right
01:56:54
and I think the disruptive effect is
01:56:56
going to get a lot worse this year
01:56:57
particularly with AI and Automation and
01:56:59
if they pull off these cuts the trickle
01:57:01
down effect of cutting government
01:57:03
spending if they are going to do it at
01:57:04
this scale is going to be significant in
01:57:07
terms of job loss and disruption to
01:57:09
people's lives in a way that people are
01:57:10
going to be really angry about and
01:57:12
that's where my theory on like I think
01:57:14
socialism is going to be on the rise
01:57:15
this year if they're successful I think
01:57:17
you'll see a big boom in so but that's
01:57:19
not what's happening in Argentina right
01:57:21
well
01:57:22
they had the problem was they're on the
01:57:24
other well they were on the other end of
01:57:26
socialism failing like they already had
01:57:28
like failed their economy was stagnating
01:57:30
right and this this in this situation
01:57:32
there's a period of time where if you
01:57:34
like let's say you cut a third of
01:57:36
government spending that's probably
01:57:37
going to affect couple million jobs and
01:57:40
a couple million people's lives and
01:57:42
those millions of people are going to
01:57:43
say this is so messed up like what are
01:57:45
you guys doing I've relied on this I've
01:57:47
depended on this the government's been
01:57:48
my customer I've worked for XY andz
01:57:50
Agency for so long or for this
01:57:52
contractor that just got shut down and
01:57:54
those people are going to say I need
01:57:56
that back and they're going to come
01:57:57
forward with saying two years of pay
01:57:59
though if you lose your job as a part of
01:58:01
the government if they that's I think
01:58:02
that's the yeah there's a way to get
01:58:03
people a stu Landing I I what I would do
01:58:05
and AI by the way is going to be
01:58:06
similarly affected like if I was
01:58:08
involved in this I would come out with a
01:58:09
very simple statement we're going to do
01:58:11
a 5% budget cut a year each year for
01:58:15
four years and see how it goes so you
01:58:18
know every single program will go 5%
01:58:20
down whether it's at a minimum and
01:58:22
everybody has to experience the pain so
01:58:24
any bill that was passed you got a
01:58:25
billion dollars for a bridge okay that
01:58:27
bridge now has to your budget is$ 950
01:58:30
yeah and that's it and everybody shares
01:58:32
the pain and you know you compound 5%
01:58:34
it's you know that winds up being what
01:58:35
24 25% so you could actually do
01:58:37
something very significant slowly and
01:58:39
thoughtfully and then you could look at
01:58:41
the results hey you know we cut 5% of
01:58:42
this we actually should cut we should be
01:58:44
investing 5% more you can't you you
01:58:47
can't have a a president that sets a
01:58:48
four-year budget that's just not how it
01:58:50
works right there's an annual budgeting
01:58:52
cycle yeah but they do have control over
01:58:54
some of the agencies and the Staffing in
01:58:56
those agencies and the salaries you know
01:58:58
you you mentioned for unions there's a
01:59:00
lot to work they can renegotiate with
01:59:01
some of them yeah yeah and so you know
01:59:04
it's it's would be stating a philosophy
01:59:06
and a goal it wouldn't necessarily be
01:59:08
perfect but I think that's what we're
01:59:10
going to see I think we're let's see
01:59:11
where they end up with because there's
01:59:13
you know a lot to diagnos introd to you
01:59:16
the 45th and the 47th president of the
01:59:20
United States of America
01:59:23
Donald J Trump I'd like to start by
01:59:27
thanking myself can you guys turn
01:59:29
up how great is this we're gonna win so
01:59:33
much pretty that's pretty good actually
01:59:35
yeah we don't even need Trump go ahead
01:59:37
Jason I wonder how many minutes before
01:59:39
he thanks Elon Baron Melania what's the
01:59:44
Valle it was I think he's gonna let's
01:59:46
see it was early in the program does he
01:59:48
thank his wife going to repeat what he
01:59:50
said last night I think so I don't know
01:59:51
if he 'll do it right now but I think
01:59:53
that's here we go I 12:09 p.m. eastern
01:59:56
time at the
01:59:59
C thank you very very much is that a
02:00:03
bulletproof Shi No that's the tele speak
02:00:06
Johnson Senator
02:00:08
th chief justice
02:00:11
Roberts justices of
02:00:14
the United States Supreme
02:00:17
Court President Clinton President Bush
02:00:21
Pres President Obama President
02:00:25
Biden vice president
02:00:28
Harris and my fellow
02:00:30
citizens the Golden Age of America
02:00:33
begins right
02:00:38
now all right leading with a yeah a VI
02:00:41
optimism golden a we're going into a
02:00:44
stay forward our country will flourish
02:00:47
and be respected again all over the
02:00:49
world we will be the Envy of every
02:00:52
nation and we will not allow ourselves
02:00:54
to be taken advantage of any
02:00:58
longer during every single day of the
02:01:00
Trump
02:01:01
Administration I will very simply put
02:01:05
America
02:01:08
First clear message yeah
02:01:14
man our sovereignty will be reclaimed
02:01:19
our safety will be restored the scales
02:01:22
of Justice will be
02:01:25
rebalanced the vicious violent and
02:01:27
unfair weaponization of the justice
02:01:30
department and our government will end
02:01:33
he's saying we're going to end law fa
02:01:35
yeah not I'm going to be all in
02:01:37
on cash pel is a pretty spicy Choice
02:01:40
yeah our top priority will be to create
02:01:43
a nation that is proud prosperous and
02:01:46
free
02:01:52
so wants to go off script right
02:01:55
now strong you think's a teleprompter
02:01:57
and far more exceptional than ever
02:02:00
before it's not obvious when you see him
02:02:03
looking left then right there's one on
02:02:05
the left there's one on the right so the
02:02:06
technique is to look at one and the
02:02:07
other you see them right
02:02:09
there looks like
02:02:11
a ER of national success a tide of
02:02:15
change is sweeping the country sunlight
02:02:18
is pouring over the entire world and
02:02:20
America has the chance to seize this
02:02:23
opportunity like never before but first
02:02:26
we must be honest about the challenges
02:02:28
we face while they are plentiful they
02:02:31
will be annihilated by this great
02:02:33
momentum that the world is now
02:02:35
witnessing in the United States of
02:02:38
America still on script As We Gather
02:02:40
today our government confronts a crisis
02:02:42
of trust for many years a radical and
02:02:45
corrupt establishment has extracted
02:02:48
power and wealth from our citizens while
02:02:50
the pillars of our Society lay broken
02:02:53
and seemingly incomplete
02:02:56
disrepair we now have a government that
02:02:58
cannot manage even a simple crisis at
02:03:01
home while at the same time stumbling
02:03:03
into a continuing catalog of
02:03:05
catastrophic events abroad continuing it
02:03:08
fails to protect our magent Laing
02:03:11
American citizens but provides sanctuary
02:03:14
and protection for Dangerous criminals
02:03:17
many from prisons and mental
02:03:19
institutions that have illegally entered
02:03:22
our country from all over the world we
02:03:25
have a government that has given
02:03:26
unlimited funding to the defense of
02:03:28
foreign borders do think refuses to
02:03:31
defend American borders or more
02:03:34
importantly St its own people our
02:03:37
country can no longer deliver basic
02:03:39
services in times of emergency as
02:03:41
recently shown by the wonderful people
02:03:45
of North Carolina been treated so badly
02:03:49
[Applause]
02:03:54
and other states who are still suffering
02:03:56
from a hurricane that took place many
02:03:57
months ago or more recently Los Angeles
02:04:01
where we are watching fires still
02:04:03
tragically burn from weeks ago without
02:04:06
even a token of defense they're raging
02:04:10
through the houses and communities even
02:04:13
affecting some of the wealthiest and
02:04:15
most powerful individuals in our country
02:04:17
some of whom are sitting here right now
02:04:20
they don't have a home in any longer
02:04:22
okay Off Script that's interesting yes
02:04:24
it's interesting four minutes he's
02:04:27
Frey unable to do anything about it
02:04:31
that's going to change can tell his
02:04:33
voice we have a public health system
02:04:34
that does not deliver in times of
02:04:36
disaster yet more money is spent on it
02:04:39
than any country anywhere in the world
02:04:42
and we have an education system that
02:04:44
teaches our children to be ashamed of
02:04:46
themselves in many cases to hate our
02:04:48
country despite the love that we try so
02:04:51
Des desperately to provide to them all
02:04:54
of this will change starting today and
02:04:58
it will change very
02:04:59
[Applause]
02:05:09
quickly my recent election is a mandate
02:05:12
to completely and totally reverse a
02:05:15
horrible
02:05:17
betrayal and all of these many betrayals
02:05:20
that have taken place
02:05:22
and to give the people back their faith
02:05:25
their wealth their democracy and indeed
02:05:29
their freedom from this moment on
02:05:33
America's deine is
02:05:41
over a little off got to wonder what's
02:05:45
going
02:05:45
to Liberties and our nation glorious
02:05:49
Destiny I mean just will no longer be
02:05:52
and we will immediately restore the
02:05:54
Integrity competency and loyalty of
02:05:57
America's government over the past eight
02:06:00
years I have been tested and challenged
02:06:02
more than any president in our 250e
02:06:05
history and I've learned a lot along the
02:06:08
way so much the journey to reclaim our
02:06:12
Republic has not been an easy one that I
02:06:15
can tell you not very easy those who
02:06:17
wish to stop our cause have tried to
02:06:20
take my freedom
02:06:22
and indeed to take my life just a few
02:06:26
months ago in a beautiful Pennsylvania
02:06:28
field in Assassin's bullet ripped
02:06:30
through my
02:06:32
ear but I felt then and believe even
02:06:35
more so now that my life was saved for a
02:06:39
reason I was saved by God to make
02:06:43
America great
02:06:49
again all right we got first stand
02:06:55
not standing no not standing I don't
02:06:58
think so I didn't see
02:06:59
[Applause]
02:07:02
them
02:07:08
yes
02:07:10
Oham in the front
02:07:14
row that is why each day under our
02:07:17
administration of American Patriots we
02:07:21
will be working to meet every crisis
02:07:24
with dignity and power and strength we
02:07:27
will move with purpose and speed to
02:07:30
bring back hope Prosperity safety and
02:07:33
peace for citizens of every race
02:07:36
religion color and Creed for American
02:07:40
citizens January 20th 2025 is Liberation
02:07:45
day
02:07:47
[Applause]
02:07:56
it is my hope that our recent
02:07:57
presidential election will be remembered
02:08:00
as the greatest and most consequential
02:08:02
election in the history of our
02:08:04
country as our Victory showed the entire
02:08:07
nation is rapidly unifying behind our
02:08:10
agenda with dramatic increases in
02:08:12
support from virtually every element of
02:08:14
our society young and old men and women
02:08:18
African-Americans Hispanic Americans
02:08:21
Asian Americans Urban Suburban Rural and
02:08:25
very importantly we had a powerful win
02:08:27
in all seven swing States and the
02:08:31
popular vote we won by
02:08:33
millions of
02:08:37
people that's always been a hang up for
02:08:39
to the Black and Hispanic communities I
02:08:42
want to thank you for the tremendous
02:08:44
outpouring of love and trust that you
02:08:47
have shown me with your vote we set
02:08:50
records
02:08:51
and I will not forget it I've heard your
02:08:55
voices in the campaign and I look
02:08:56
forward to working with you in the years
02:08:59
to come today is Martin Luther King day
02:09:02
and his honor this will be a great honor
02:09:06
but in his honor we will strive together
02:09:09
to make his dream a reality we will make
02:09:13
his dream come
02:09:17
true face
02:09:22
yeah yeah he's working on his
02:09:26
set there's a lot of people who when
02:09:28
he's starting go from father the king
02:09:30
we're
02:09:30
like boy careful
02:09:35
here go
02:09:38
way and confidence and pride is soaring
02:09:42
like never before in everything we do my
02:09:45
Administration will be inspired by a
02:09:48
strong pursuit of excellence and
02:09:49
unrelenting success
02:09:52
we will not forget our country we will
02:09:54
not forget our Constitution and we will
02:09:57
not forget our
02:10:01
God can't do that do that every St put
02:10:05
the god
02:10:08
part in his
02:10:12
life how much we love my favorite what's
02:10:15
your favorite part of the Bible all of
02:10:17
it it's my faite we will begin the
02:10:20
complete rest kind of like asking about
02:10:22
the
02:10:24
re comp which Bible do you like you know
02:10:28
the the one in the hotel yeah first
02:10:31
absolutely deare a national emergency at
02:10:34
our Southern
02:10:40
borderer
02:10:43
yeah half standing
02:10:46
well I don't think they seeting the
02:10:49
Border was
02:10:51
number
02:10:53
ofation one and two yeah they're not
02:11:01
standing all illegal entry will
02:11:04
immediately be halted and we will begin
02:11:07
the process of returning millions and
02:11:09
millions of criminal aliens back to the
02:11:12
places from which they
02:11:14
came we will reinstate my remain in
02:11:19
Mexico policy
02:11:21
[Applause]
02:11:26
I will end the practice of Catch and
02:11:32
Release and I will send troops to the
02:11:35
southern border to repel the disastrous
02:11:38
invasion of our
02:11:40
[Applause]
02:11:44
country under the orders I sign today we
02:11:47
will also be designating the cartels as
02:11:51
foreign terrorist
02:11:53
organizations
02:11:55
great
02:11:58
great I mean there's an argument may you
02:12:01
listen to his words it's a logical
02:12:03
argument that they are terrorist
02:12:04
organizations based on the number of
02:12:05
Americans they're killing yeah and I
02:12:07
think what he's saying there is if
02:12:08
you're a terrorist organization you have
02:12:09
the right to go take them out but you go
02:12:11
as far as China Supply the
02:12:14
fenol China go into Mexico I will direct
02:12:18
our government to use the full and
02:12:20
immense power of federal and state law
02:12:22
enforcement to eliminate the presence of
02:12:24
all foreign gangs and criminal networks
02:12:27
bringing devastating crime to us soil
02:12:32
including our cities and inner cities
02:12:36
yeah like San
02:12:37
Francisco New
02:12:39
York New York
02:12:41
is as commander-in Chief I have no
02:12:44
higher responsibility than to defend our
02:12:46
country from threats and invasions and
02:12:49
that is exactly what I am going to do we
02:12:53
will do it at a level that nobody's ever
02:12:55
seen before next I will direct all
02:12:58
members of my cabinate to Marshall the
02:13:00
vast Powers at their disposal to defeat
02:13:03
what was record inflation and rapidly
02:13:06
bring down costs and
02:13:10
prices how do you do that like what's
02:13:12
your lower the inputs the energy cost is
02:13:14
the is the straight the inflation crisis
02:13:17
was caused by Massive overspending and
02:13:19
escalating Energy prices and that is why
02:13:22
today I will also declare a national
02:13:25
Energy emergency we will drill baby
02:13:30
drill love saying
02:13:32
that he's worked that one for a while he
02:13:34
wor that's like a classic goto this is a
02:13:37
line will get
02:13:49
understand yes America will be a
02:13:51
manufacturing Nation once again and we
02:13:54
have something that no other
02:13:55
manufacturing Nation will ever have the
02:13:58
largest amount of oil and gas of any
02:14:00
country on Earth and we are going to use
02:14:04
it use
02:14:08
it we will bring prices down fill our
02:14:12
strategic reserves up again right to the
02:14:15
top right and Export American Energy all
02:14:18
over the world
02:14:22
the energy ball tonight's going to be
02:14:24
lit we will be a rich Nation again and
02:14:27
it is that Liquid Gold under our feet
02:14:30
that will help to do it with my actions
02:14:34
today we will end the green New Deal and
02:14:36
we will revoke the electric vehicle
02:14:39
mandate saving our Auto industry and
02:14:42
keeping my sacred pledge to our Great
02:14:44
American Auto
02:14:49
Workers that's an interesting this is
02:14:51
where there'll be a a federal preemption
02:14:53
challenge I think of
02:14:55
California California has the E mandate
02:14:58
um in other words gav said put like 50
02:15:01
million in legal Reserve to fight some
02:15:03
of the decisions Trump's going to take
02:15:04
build automobiles in America again at a
02:15:06
rate that nobody could have dreamt
02:15:08
possible just a few years ago and thank
02:15:11
you to the order workers of our nation
02:15:14
for your inspiring vote of confidence we
02:15:17
did tremendously with their vote
02:15:22
I will immediately begin the overhaul of
02:15:25
our trade system to protect American
02:15:28
workers and families instead of taxing
02:15:31
our citizens to enrich other countries
02:15:34
we will tariff and tax foreign countries
02:15:38
to enrich our citizens a good
02:15:41
message I mean it's
02:15:44
isolation for this purose neg we are
02:15:48
establishing the external Revenue
02:15:52
Service to collect all tariffs
02:15:56
duties and revenues it will be massive
02:15:59
amounts of money pouring into our
02:16:01
treasury federal government only had
02:16:03
coming from foreign sources the American
02:16:06
dream
02:16:08
will the original Revenue model rest
02:16:10
comp and Effectiveness to our federal
02:16:13
sad part is my ad reduced tarff
02:16:16
establish the BR new Department Revenue
02:16:19
went efficienc so it drove like it turns
02:16:22
out tars reduce economic growth so the
02:16:25
the the economic argument against
02:16:26
tariffs is it'll in it'll decrease
02:16:28
Imports it'll decrease purchasing
02:16:30
because as things get more expensive
02:16:31
people purchase fewer of them after
02:16:33
years youate
02:16:35
counterbalance Federal efforts there's a
02:16:38
big econom constru I will also sign an
02:16:41
executive order to immediately stop all
02:16:43
government censorship and bring back
02:16:46
Free Speech To
02:16:48
America very important
02:16:53
that's hopping up God this is so
02:16:56
exhausting can you imagine being there
02:16:58
up and down up why does Zuck need the
02:17:01
fact Checkers if if censorship's over
02:17:05
getting rid of them no he said he's
02:17:06
moving to Texas the immen power trading
02:17:08
the California no he said he's gonna
02:17:10
trade out the California ones because
02:17:12
they were to bias I think that's trust
02:17:15
safety we will not allow that to happen
02:17:17
it will not happen again under my
02:17:20
leadership we will restore Fair equal
02:17:22
and impartial justice under the
02:17:25
Constitutional rule of
02:17:27
law is that his
02:17:31
way and we are going to bring Law and
02:17:35
Order back to our
02:17:37
cities that's
02:17:39
good Jason would you pardon the January
02:17:42
this week I will also end the government
02:17:45
folks who beat up Pops I think everybody
02:17:48
agrees jail should be
02:17:52
for people who did you know damage to
02:17:54
property they should compensate for it
02:17:57
and they didn't really put people in
02:17:59
jail outside of those so there's this
02:18:02
like false narrative that like everybody
02:18:04
who was there got arrested it's like I
02:18:05
think 1,200 people actually were violent
02:18:08
out of I don't know if it was 50 or 100
02:18:10
thousand people who went there and it's
02:18:12
the people who went inside
02:18:15
youcy of the United States government
02:18:17
that there are only said this um said
02:18:21
we're going to do the violent criminal
02:18:22
you hear you just made the executive
02:18:24
order declaration there's only two
02:18:25
genders M
02:18:27
and this is his whole thing about
02:18:29
getting that through
02:18:34
policy they're like good good there's a
02:18:37
lot of blonde women in the front row who
02:18:39
really
02:18:40
like service members
02:18:43
who it's not brick sign there's actual
02:18:47
there's policy no no it's not there's
02:18:48
policy in the military there's policy
02:18:50
that that speaks to gender fluidity
02:18:52
gender decision making and Care uh
02:18:55
that's allowed for
02:18:57
transgender
02:18:59
uh a purple suit wow mustache
02:19:03
rocket our Warriors from being subjected
02:19:06
to radical political theories and social
02:19:09
experiments while on duty it's going to
02:19:11
end
02:19:12
immediately this is where there's a lot
02:19:14
of training on like
02:19:16
transgender that sort of stuff in the
02:19:18
military that's the kind of stuff they
02:19:19
want to like get rid of Soul Mission e
02:19:22
defeating Amer
02:19:29
enemies I agree that's kind of feels
02:19:32
like it's in the
02:19:34
identity like sexual harassment training
02:19:36
was probably a really important thing
02:19:38
for a period of time in America remember
02:19:39
like in the 80s 90s 2000s you had to
02:19:42
like explain to people don't have
02:19:43
somebody on a date at work because when
02:19:45
you first went to work that was where
02:19:47
you found your spouse believe me I
02:19:48
started invest in banking yes in 201 we
02:19:52
will that seemed pretty necessary and
02:19:54
now we're kind of at like oh my office
02:19:56
mate
02:20:00
got but also by the wars that we end and
02:20:04
perhaps bias training has increased the
02:20:08
incidence of claims and of course yeah I
02:20:11
guess people super focused on it pretty
02:20:14
St forward somebody misbehaves at work
02:20:17
we Fire end have like a law firm
02:20:21
them
02:20:23
and
02:20:26
for my proudest Legacy will be that of a
02:20:31
peacemaker and unifier that's what I
02:20:33
want to be a peacemaker and a unifier
02:20:36
I'm pleased to say that as of yesterday
02:20:38
one day before I assumed office the
02:20:42
hostages in the Middle East are coming
02:20:45
back home to their families
02:20:51
it's like Biden and commo have no choice
02:20:53
but to clap but they're not
02:20:55
standing there you go
02:20:58
they well he's like I took credit for
02:21:01
that I got to stand yeah I mean I
02:21:03
already took credit for that one so
02:21:05
hostages all three of them yeah that one
02:21:07
on
02:21:08
me America will reclaim its rightful
02:21:11
place as the greatest powerful most
02:21:13
respected Nation on Earth inspiring the
02:21:17
awe and admiration of the entire world a
02:21:21
short time from now we are going to be
02:21:23
changing the name of Gulf of Mexico to
02:21:26
the Gulf of America and we will restore
02:21:30
the name the Gul of America of a great
02:21:33
President William McKinley to Mount
02:21:37
McKinley where it should be and where it
02:21:40
belongs going to do it so important yes
02:21:44
it's the
02:21:46
controversy I'm glad he's not waiting on
02:21:48
these President McKinley made our
02:21:51
country very rich through tariffs and
02:21:53
through Talent he was a natural
02:21:56
businessman and gave Teddy Rosevelt the
02:21:59
money for many of the great things he
02:22:01
did including the Panama
02:22:03
Canal which has foolishly been given to
02:22:06
the country of Panama after the United
02:22:09
States the United States I mean think of
02:22:11
this spent more money than ever spent on
02:22:15
a project before and lost 38,000 lives
02:22:19
in the building of the Panama Canal we
02:22:23
have been treated very badly from this
02:22:25
foolish gift that should have never been
02:22:27
made and Panama's promise to us has been
02:22:31
broken the purpose of our deal and the
02:22:34
spirit of our treaty has been totally
02:22:36
violated American ships are being
02:22:40
severely
02:22:41
overcharged and not treated fairly in
02:22:44
any way shape or form and that includes
02:22:48
the United States Navy and above all
02:22:51
China is operating the Panama Canal and
02:22:54
we didn't give it to China we gave it to
02:22:56
Panama and we're taking it back wow wow
02:23:01
taking it
02:23:02
back this say a military move I mean
02:23:07
this a pretty strong move this going to
02:23:09
be part of this is going to be part of
02:23:10
the big deal with China when they do
02:23:12
this Grand deal I think it's going to
02:23:13
take a couple months but be grand all
02:23:15
the I agree above all my message
02:23:18
Americans today is that it is time for
02:23:20
us to once again act with courage Vigor
02:23:24
and the Vitality of History's Greatest
02:23:27
civilization so as we liberate our
02:23:29
nation we will lead it to new heights of
02:23:33
Victory and
02:23:34
success we will not be deterred together
02:23:37
we will end the chronic disease epidemic
02:23:40
and keep our children safe healthy and
02:23:42
disease free the United States will once
02:23:45
again consider itself a growing
02:23:48
Nation one that increases our wealth
02:23:51
expands our territory builds our cities
02:23:54
raises our expectations and Carries our
02:23:56
flag into new and beautiful Horizons and
02:24:00
we will pursue our Manifest Destiny into
02:24:03
the Stars launching American
02:24:05
astronauts to plant the stars and
02:24:08
stripes on the planet
02:24:12
Mars sounds silly but it's cool that's
02:24:15
great yeah
02:24:17
yeah a great declaration when do you
02:24:19
think that'll actually happen I mean
02:24:21
Elon there's a window in years look at
02:24:22
Elon freaking out he loves that like
02:24:25
theck Baron's like good father
02:24:28
good he's like calcul let's say he's
02:24:31
calcul the life blood of a great father
02:24:35
and right the orbits really it's like
02:24:38
about two
02:24:40
years Nation it's and it's Technic are
02:24:44
explorers Builders innovators
02:24:46
entrepreneurs and Pioneers got to get me
02:24:49
start the spirit of the Frontier is
02:24:51
written into our hearts the call of the
02:24:54
next great
02:24:55
adventure resounds from within our
02:24:59
souls our American ancestors turned a
02:25:03
small group of colonies on the edge of a
02:25:06
vast continent into a mighty Republic of
02:25:08
the most extraordinary citizens on Earth
02:25:11
no one comes
02:25:13
close Americans push thousands of miles
02:25:16
through a rugged land of Untamed
02:25:19
wilderness
02:25:21
they crossed deserts scaled mountains
02:25:23
cved Untold dangers won the wild west
02:25:27
ended slavery rescued Millions from
02:25:29
tyranny lifted billions from poverty
02:25:32
harnessed electricity split the atom
02:25:36
launched mankind into the heavens and
02:25:39
put the universe of human knowledge into
02:25:41
the palm of the human hand if we work
02:25:45
together there is nothing we cannot do
02:25:47
and no dream we cannot achieve
02:25:51
many people thought it was impossible
02:25:53
for me to Stage such a historic
02:25:56
political
02:25:57
comeback but as you see today here I am
02:26:00
the American people have
02:26:06
spoken he just seems a little bored when
02:26:08
he's reading the com like like a tamed
02:26:11
animal yeah it's 40 minutes into this
02:26:13
and it's
02:26:22
I stand before you now as proof that you
02:26:24
should never believe that something is
02:26:26
impossible to do in America The
02:26:29
Impossible is what we do
02:26:38
best from New York to Los Angeles from
02:26:42
Philadelphia to Phoenix from Chicago to
02:26:45
Miami from Houston to right here in
02:26:48
Washington DC
02:26:50
our country was forged and built by the
02:26:53
generations of patriots who gave
02:26:55
everything they had for our rights and
02:26:57
for our

02:29:41
thank you
02:29:43
all that it all right there it is there
02:29:46
it is thank you very much
02:29:50
all right any uh time to
02:29:53
party well supposedly there's a
02:29:56
presidential signing desk at the arena
02:29:58
so I guess he's going to the arena and
02:30:00
doing like a rally or something at the
02:30:02
at this Arena where they're going to do
02:30:03
a rally I think he's all the executive
02:30:05
orders I think he's going to sign them
02:30:07
in like
02:30:08
a public way to get people hyped so he's
02:30:11
going to the the Capital One Arena I see
02:30:15
where you guys going tonight more
02:30:16
parties uh I'm going to the a ball wow
02:30:20
of course of course the my two biggest
02:30:22
nightmares cryp ball and aball can you
02:30:25
film it you guys I mean you can imagine
02:30:28
okay I'm going the coest person there
02:30:30
it's here actually it's gonna be fun at
02:30:32
the Grand at the grandest Hiatt it's
02:30:34
gonna be great the grandest of hiatts
02:30:39
um yeah too well late I want to say um
02:30:44
Jason I just I think we'll do you know
02:30:46
because I know people are going to drop
02:30:47
off so I just want again the set cost a
02:30:49
lot coming to DC cost a lot we did a
02:30:50
whole buildout so thanks to him
02:30:52
unrepentant just Chi for these guys go
02:30:54

02:30:56

02:31:16

02:31:18
Aubra so Allin
02:31:20
uh free fees when you buy slra D private
02:31:25
um reactions on anything surprising no I
02:31:30
mean he's incredibly boring when he
02:31:32
reads from a teleprompter yes like it's
02:31:34
just it's like imagine giving Dave
02:31:36
Chappelle up teleprompter would be like
02:31:38
the worst possible medium for him but um
02:31:42
I I just wish they had put camera on
02:31:46
Biden and KLA that's I was so interested
02:31:49
in seeing their action when he was just
02:31:51
absolutely clubbing them yeah with their
02:31:54
performance over the last four years
02:31:55
which was mixed certainly but we do have
02:31:58
the lowest unemployment of our lifetime
02:32:00
we they did have a record stock market
02:32:02
and uh you know the Border was
02:32:04
challenged but you know I think we'll
02:32:06
probably look back at Biden printed a
02:32:08
bit of money yeah all everything
02:32:10
inflates when you print that much money
02:32:12
they spent the same Amun they SP
02:32:15
essentially the same as Trump did in his
02:32:16
term I guarantee you Trump's going to
02:32:17
spend a similar amount I I think machine
02:32:20
is hard to Wrangle I mean I'm hoping can
02:32:24
it's just really hard I think you were
02:32:25
talking about that freeberg how hard it
02:32:27
is to get people to think collectively
02:32:30
and think for the collective good yeah
02:32:32
it's gonna be really so you don't you're
02:32:34
skeptical on Doge no I think doge is
02:32:36
going to reduce the size of certain
02:32:37
things but unless you were to do social
02:32:40
security and do
02:32:43
um uh the military those two things I
02:32:46
think are the bulk of our budget and so
02:32:49
you're really have to take those away in
02:32:51
a significant way and that's just
02:32:52
untenable for folks right Social
02:32:55
Security and what else military military
02:32:57
oh you know it's just
02:32:59
Medicare and Medicare so yeah the
02:33:01
entitlement programs are the big reform
02:33:04
that's coming down the pipe and in all
02:33:06
my conversations in DC this weekend when
02:33:09
I've brought this up with every
02:33:11
politician everyone seems to have the
02:33:13
same kind of resonant point which is
02:33:16
it's going to happen when it needs to
02:33:18
happen right how happens in companies
02:33:20
too yeah it's
02:33:22
like Social Security is this thing that
02:33:24
everyone knows is structurally bankrupt
02:33:27
it's a function of time so when I am
02:33:30
able to minimize the political effect
02:33:32
because it's too late to not do anything
02:33:33
about it that's when I will do something
02:33:35
about it super annotation funds in
02:33:37
Australia work like a charm what super
02:33:40
annotation funds I think is what they
02:33:41
call them they call them supers casually
02:33:43
basically instead of having Social
02:33:44
Security and paying into that and the
02:33:45
government running it you're forced to
02:33:47
use I think one of four or five vendors
02:33:49
you put a certain percentage of your
02:33:51
salary every year into it I don't know
02:33:52
if it's 12% I think it's on a scale um
02:33:56
and that goes into a fund that you can
02:33:58
tap at certain milestones in your life
02:34:01
um like your retirement and so it's
02:34:04
essentially like they're putting a gun
02:34:05
to your head and saying you've got to
02:34:07
save Force savings Force savings but in
02:34:09
equities not in a government and so you
02:34:13
know you think about this kind of model
02:34:16
it would work and T was it Ted Cruzer
02:34:18
talked about it yesterday super
02:34:19
anotation or well there's there's a lot
02:34:21
of these like Norway has a massive fund
02:34:24
Australia has these funds and so these
02:34:26
are like public Pension funds that are
02:34:29
on the order of trillions of dollars of
02:34:31
invested capital in markets you know in
02:34:33
but they're run privately by expert
02:34:35
they're yeah I mean they're not necessar
02:34:37
there's a lot of government involvement
02:34:39
but it's um it's not like the US where
02:34:41
you give these kind of government
02:34:42
guarantees and ultimately you have to
02:34:44
have like some structural reform to make
02:34:46
it all work um so anyway I think yeah
02:34:49
that that's what everyone assumes this
02:34:50
is all going to move to some sort of
02:34:52
like structural reform on like like a
02:34:55
pension fund type model combined with a
02:34:57
changing in the age combined with some
02:34:59
sort of selection process do you think
02:35:00
we hit a catalyst I mean if if if it's
02:35:02
not going to just happen everyone says
02:35:04
it's between 203 to 2032 so what is it
02:35:08
that happens the politicians so there's
02:35:10
a the payment amounts start to outstrip
02:35:13
the capital that's available and so
02:35:16
that's when everything kind of okay well
02:35:17
where's this all going to come from now
02:35:19
we have toint trillions of dollars and
02:35:21
ultimately those dollars you're getting
02:35:22
are worth less and so on so there's a
02:35:25
there's a a lot of different economic
02:35:27
models but the general kind of
02:35:29
politician point of view is like 2030
02:35:31
2032 is when Social Security is going to
02:35:33
break they no one will talk publicly
02:35:35
about it because no one wants to lose
02:35:36
the votes to talk about it right and uh
02:35:39
because it'll it'll immediately like
02:35:40
people jump on you your opponents jump
02:35:41
on you voter they're trying to get rid
02:35:43
of Social Security they're try to get
02:35:43
rid of Social Security trying to get and
02:35:45
that's the attack Vector if you talk
02:35:47
about social security so no one even
02:35:48
wants to talk about it everyone on both
02:35:51
sides of the aisle say social security
02:35:52
is Golden Goose we can't touch it we
02:35:55
can't touch it um but behind closed
02:35:58
doors everyone says 2030 2032 is when
02:36:00
it's going to break and so that's when
02:36:02
everyone's kind of lining up or or
02:36:04
thinking about so no one even wants to
02:36:05
deal with it like Kick the Can down the
02:36:06
road Kick the Can down the road when we
02:36:07
have we politically have to like what
02:36:10
will what will interest be ex well
02:36:12
that's the point I mean if you start
02:36:13
issuing bonds right people are that's
02:36:15
well there there's a lot of these longer
02:36:17
term structural problems in the United
02:36:18
States which is why treasuries are like
02:36:20
5% at a 30-year which is insane right
02:36:23
and that is because we're going to have
02:36:25
to print a lot of money in order to kind
02:36:28
of because we're not speaking and there
02:36:29
has to be a buyer for that and that
02:36:31
buyer is other governments uh other
02:36:34
institutions they have to want that
02:36:36
right they have to want those bonds and
02:36:38
they have to a good deal at some at some
02:36:40
interest rate you'll take those bonds
02:36:42
the market participants will take those
02:36:44
bonds and that's why if the interest
02:36:45
rate gets higher meaning the prices on
02:36:46
the bonds get lower suddenly folks are
02:36:48
like okay I'll take at 6% 7% I I I'll
02:36:51
buy us treasuries they paying me 8% for
02:36:52
30 years sure and so the market is
02:36:55
continuing to show us that over the long
02:36:58
term the US government needs to pay a
02:37:01
higher and higher interest rate in order
02:37:02
to keep people loaning money to the to
02:37:04
the to the US um the US federal
02:37:07
government so I mean if you try to you
02:37:09
probably have this happen in your
02:37:09
company where but this goes to my point
02:37:11
if Doge actually works and they're gonna
02:37:13
restructure spending and someone in the
02:37:15
next four years look you're not going to
02:37:17
do it before the midterm there's just no
02:37:18
way because they've got that they're
02:37:20
going to try and get Trump by default
02:37:22
the lame duck right he's by default duck
02:37:24
so maybe he can do some things I
02:37:25
remember wor about voting blocks if he's
02:37:27
out in four years yeah I mean he does
02:37:29
have to think about not doing what did
02:37:32
to Kam these guys have a 15mon Sprint
02:37:35
right now 15 months until the midterms
02:37:37
really kick in so if you're G to do some
02:37:39
damage in terms of like the voters are
02:37:41
going to be pissed off because you did
02:37:42
something you might as well go all the
02:37:44
way so over the next 15 months they're
02:37:47
going to have to go as hard as fast as
02:37:49
deep cut as they possibly can if these
02:37:52
things are going to work because if you
02:37:53
only Go part way you're done no matter
02:37:55
what you're losing votes and it's going
02:37:56
to be a very hard midterm this is your
02:37:58
one window this is such a waste of time
02:37:59
like all these pastors and rabbis and
02:38:01
Priests like nobody wants to hear from
02:38:02
these folks why don't they have uh all
02:38:04
the um people in the administration come
02:38:07
up and talk about their plans oh that'd
02:38:08
be sick actually yeah yeah or have the
02:38:10
uh the have Bezos Elon Sundar each say a
02:38:13
few words that would have been much more
02:38:15
interesting than like oh another prayer
02:38:18
yeah great it's like a little bit of
02:38:19
virtue signaling when they do this yeah
02:38:21
it's very annoying all right are weing I
02:38:23
think to WAP yeah oh hear from the girls
02:38:26
oh yeah uh so come on girls come over
02:38:28
here sit next to your dad these are Mark
02:38:31
bis's amazing daughters Georgia and
02:38:33
Carmen now what you're gonna have to do
02:38:35
we don't have any handhelds do we don't
02:38:37
worry about it we don't have handheld so
02:38:39
just take your LV and just uh hand it
02:38:41
and maybe you could take your LV and
02:38:43
just put it right I can uh near her
02:38:45
you're gonna just talk into the LA you
02:38:46
don't have to go too close about six
02:38:47
inches uh so just introduce yourself
02:38:50
tell everybody your names hi I'm car I'm
02:38:52
Georgia and you're Carmen I'm Carmen how
02:38:55
did that come across for the sound team
02:38:57
okay now how old are you we're 14 yeah
02:39:01
wait a second you're both his daughter
02:39:03
and you're both the same age how'd that
02:39:04
happen we're twins ah that explains it I
02:39:08
was wondering this was getting a little
02:39:10
complicated here now you're 14 what's
02:39:13
the best thing about being Mark Pink's
02:39:15
daughters what's the best thing about
02:39:17
being Mark pink' daughters he's you know
02:39:19
we for instance before you guys are
02:39:20
around 30 years I love your dad he's so
02:39:23
awesome but tell me what do you love
02:39:25
about Dad well he's always like talking
02:39:27
about really interesting things like he
02:39:29
always has really interesting views and
02:39:31
I like to hear his views about like
02:39:33
politics games new things and he always
02:39:36
asks us for our opinions which I think
02:39:38
is really nice like he sends Us games to
02:39:41
try and he's like what do you got like
02:39:42
do you guys think your us opportunities
02:39:45
to educate ourselves and form opinions
02:39:47
for ourselves even just having
02:39:50
conversations with you over dinner um is
02:39:53
really interesting and this I told your
02:39:56
dad one time I saw your dad with you
02:39:59
guys when you growing up surfing and
02:40:01
Wyatt and I said
02:40:03
Mark you are such an amazing dad and I
02:40:06
just want to tell you that because I
02:40:08
watch you and the patience you have with
02:40:09
these kids it's so beautiful and we've
02:40:12
been friends for 30 years amazing and I
02:40:14
watch you with these with these girls
02:40:15
you're so impressive now I heard you
02:40:18
like podcasting yeah yeah and my
02:40:20
daughter is interested in podcasting and
02:40:22
then some other besties have daughters
02:40:23
who are around your age and they think a
02:40:25
podcast is kind of cool there are rumors
02:40:28
going around that the all-in besties
02:40:31
kids might do a podcast is this a true
02:40:33
rumor yes it is true I'm say it's in the
02:40:36
working whoa this is in the
02:40:38
brainstorming phase yeah we gonna call
02:40:41
it maybe the nepo pod
02:40:44
neop that's funny what's it been like
02:40:47
since your dad has gotten involved in
02:40:48
politics and maybe change teams you live
02:40:51
in San Francisco it's a pretty left
02:40:53
leaning Town your friends give you a
02:40:54
hard time or they watching your dad on
02:40:56
social who told your dad to be public
02:40:58
about it so that was kmen because she um
02:41:01
actually she didn't tell her friends
02:41:03
where she was going this weekend um she
02:41:06
not even just didn't tell she also had
02:41:08
to lie about it um I'm in a different
02:41:11
situation my friends don't really care
02:41:13
but we also do go to different schools
02:41:15
yeah so I would I kind of had to lie a
02:41:18
little bit hopefully this is a little
02:41:20
bit early for them um I toe a little bit
02:41:23
because I don't think my friends are
02:41:25
like very left and I don't think they
02:41:28
really like the right I'm not in the
02:41:31
right I would say I think I'm in the
02:41:32
middle okay but I don't and I came to
02:41:34
this an auration like testing it out
02:41:37
seeing like what my opinions are about
02:41:40
politics and so I don't really want to
02:41:41
tell my friends if I wasn't sure like
02:41:44
