Sir Graham Henry (aka “Ted”) is one of the greatest All Black coaches of all time. He left the role with a win record of 85% from 103 test matches.
In 2011, with a little help from his friends, he coached the All Blacks to a Rugby World Cup win, breaking a 24-year drought.
This was made even more remarkable on account of a thing called The Henry clause- a rule made by the NZ Rugby union in the late 1990s to make sure Graham would never get to coach the All Blacks after he went overseas to coach Wales. We talk about that clause and so much more-
His early years and how he got together with his soulmate, Raewyn.
His self-diagnosed depression which saw him quit coaching in the UK.
His 103-test coaching career with the All Blacks and much more. Sir Graham Henry is a sharp operator, and this was a lot of fun. Hope you guys love it.
