Jay-Jay Feeney Reflects on Radio Career & Retirement, The Best Stories from 30+ Years On Air

Dom Harvey

Episode Description

On Friday July 5, 2024, NZ Broadcasting legend Jay-Jay Feeney will do her final radio show on More FM. Ending a career that has spanned 33 years and too many award wins to count.

I have an obvious bias, but I genuinely believe NZ will never ever see another broadcaster (on music radio) of her caliber ever again. She is the Greatest of All Time.

This podcast was recorded just a few days before her final radio show. We discuss her decision to finish and reflect on her career.

We also talk about her love of the listening audience and her unrelenting quest to entertain them over the past 3 decades and her thoughts on the future of the medium.

There are also some incredible stories about Tom Cruise and Jason DeRulo!

I really hope you guys enjoy this episode.
