Am I right in assuming that your love of movement began in jail or you started long distance running while you were

incarcerated? Um I actually before I went to jail, I was uh well, when I was a kid, you know, I was a

um Auckland judo champion. So, I did judo uh as a junior and uh and I won the under nine stone championship uh

when I was about 12 or 13 or something. And then when I was in jail, uh no, sorry, when I was at

university, I was uh exercising fairly regularly, but not entering any races, but I was doing a bit of running and and

Um so, I I was always involved. And then when I went to jail in Mount Eden, when [snorts] I was on remand, I used to

run uh run around the yard every day, which was I was unusual in and that. So, we're only out for two hours a day uh

we out for four hours a day out of our cells and I used to go for runs around the yard. How big was the yard? Not very
