Orlando Police Department received a call from a resident at what was at the time described by many as a CD apartment

complex or like the crispy carel would call it poopy that's a real estate term this is just one mile down the road from

Jennifer's condo the apartment complex is called Huntington on the green a Huntington on the green was a straight
00:04:32
shot from Jennifer's condo complex down Conroy Road which turned into Americana Boulevard and then a quick left on South
00:04:42
Texas Avenue this brought you to the entrance of Huntington on the green this complex was in a significantly less
00:04:51
desirable area than Mosaic at Millennia in an area known for drugs and prostitution Joy Cassie said that Jen

would never go to this area of town the caller from Huntington on the green had seen the stories about Jennifer kessie
00:05:09
all over the local news and believe that her car Jennifer's car was parked in the lot
00:05:16
across from the Huntington on the green pool the police checked it out and sure enough it was Jennifer's black four-door

Chevy Malibu the doors were locked and it was parked front end in the in a visitor spot in the lot oh yeah you want

to lock the doors cuz it's a bad area now we have no idea who this caller was who called to report the vehicle that

they believed to be the missing girls the Orlando Police Department has never addressed the identity of this person
00:05:50
the car was locked and one report we've seen says that Jennifer had a coded key not one that could be copied so if

that's true whoever accessed the C did so using Jennifer's own Keys mhm the Orlando Police Department never asked

Drew for his spare key to Jennifer's car so it's not clear how they opened it apparently police had their eye on

Jennifer's boyfriend Rob as a POS possible suspect we can surmise this because he was called to the location of

the car by the police department and he was made to stand by as they Pride open the trunk this is strange to
00:06:35
me I've seen this in many cases to be honest with you really yeah and and this is to they want to observe the reaction

of the person who at the time is probably their Prime Suspect right but everybody reacts differently correct so

so their idea is that we found this car or somebody told us where the car was we go check it out it's Jennifer's car

our number one suspect right now is her boyfriend but this is also because they've been telling the parents and

everybody else who will listen well we think that she just had an argument with her boyfriend and she went off for a

while and she'll be back but now they're going okay well our number one suspect is the boyfriend let's take him to the

car and when we open up the trunk because we might find her there we want to see what his reaction is if

they if they open up that trunk and she is in there that's a that's breaking it down

right I think they want to see his reaction either way okay the problem with this tactic just like many other

police and detective tactics is you in a sense you're showing your hand a bit because while you want him
00:07:55
there to observe his reaction to whether she's in the trunk or not you're also giving up some details about the car

should you because he's there he's an observer yeah so but also you're running the risk of showing your hand to him and
00:08:14
if he's your number one suspect now he becomes less Cooperative lower up become less Cooperative mhm and I think the

other thing too is that you want to not just observe his reaction and this might

even be more key because as you very astutely pointed out everyone reacts differently to any given situation so

there you can't just write down oh he did this and and we find that to be guilt that's not you can't sell that to

a jury you can attempt to you don't know that they're going to buy it or not no what I think this provides you more so

is if she is in the trunk God forbid you want to equest you want to question him immediately you want him in

a state of of vulnerability when you start to question him and you might be able to get that on the scene at that

moment right rather than him being able to prepare himself be it emotionally or otherwise with a phone call that says

hey we found her car we found her body we need you to come down to the police department to answer some questions no

and now it's hey good news we just found her car it's over here can you be there

oh you can great uh perfect because we are we just found it we're getting ready to open it up and we're probably going

to need your assistance and we're probably going to have some questions yeah I'm guessing there's two detectives

so if it was me and you who would open up the trunk and who would be staring at his face I I don't I don't think that
00:09:48
matters they probably a team of people there not just two detectives now to everyone's relief and we know this

obviously Captain Jennifer was not in the trunk of her car police put the car on a flatbed without locking it and

removed it for processing here is what we know hold on so they they didn't process the condo but they're going to
00:10:14
process the car okay here's what we know was found there was one small fiber found one latent print that has no match

has been made to date a DVD player was strapped in into the back seat with the seat belt a cell phone car charger

unplugged wrapped around the gearshift a pair of expensive sunglasses that Jen wore to St Croy flip-flops Jen's broken

mail key okay now we mentioned earlier that her key ring contained her car keys contained her house keys and a mail key

this mail key was broken um and had been replaced so there was a new operating key operable key on her

keychain whatever was in the trunk this is interesting has never been disclosed or discussed by Orlando Police

Department that's curious right remember the missing briefcase her work briefcase

right some of her friends have said she may she kept it in the vehicle sometimes

overnight you know like that I think that's a pretty normal thing like if there's something that you're not so

you're not really worried about anybody taking it right and it's something that you all you are doing essentially is

lugging it schlepping it from your vehicle to your home and then back again first thing in the morning I think we

all do that sometimes there there's things that you just go I'm better off leave leaving this in my car well yeah

sometimes you need it because you want to do some work at home but most of the time you can leave it in your car used

to do that all the time had a book bag that i' take to guitar lessons with me and most of the time I didn't need it so

on top of that we have some friends saying that she likely at times would put this in the trunk of the car uhhuh

so what I find interesting about this whole thing is we have a trunk that was opened that was processed there may have
00:12:18
been something in it there may not have been whatever was in that trunk has never been publicly released has never
00:12:24
been discussed by the police department but what I'm getting at here is is one of the items that is determined to be
00:12:30
missing and still missing to this day is her work briefcase which could have been
00:12:36
in the trunk of that car I'm just simply pointing out there is a chance that for
00:12:41
whatever reason it's not actually missing the detectives have it the police department has it what is that uh
00:12:48

any information on one of those websites about what was in the trunk I'm I'm guessing he might actually not remember

though because he's probably so relieved not to find he's traumatized by the possibilities right

you know that before they bust open that trunk the other thing too is he may have

been told to stand back you know what I mean to stand to stand a little ways away and then if they open up the trunk

and find what right whatever their strategy is for having him there then you you have him approach or you're you
00:13:50
telling him this is what we found is this if you a detective is this a strategy you think you would use I would
00:13:56
use it for the purpose of not so much his reaction or or judging his reaction I would use it for the purpose of
00:14:03
questioning him immediately when cuz he's going to be vulnerable either way either he's innocent that he's a victim
00:14:10
and his his girlfriend potential love of his life was just killed right throw him
00:14:16
off guard and he finds out this is still days there's still hope at this time for
00:14:22
all of her loved ones that she is going to come back yeah no matter how she was taken or why she is gone there's a good
00:14:29
chance we're talking depending on how you you cut it you know we we we said that 10hour window of time she could
00:14:38
still only be missing technically for 48 Hours by this point right so you want to question him when he's
00:14:47
vulnerable and I mean vulnerable either way either he's innocent and they find her and you you're going to throw him at
00:14:56
questions and he may agree to be questioned and and talk with you at length or he's guilty in hiding
00:15:04
something and he's vulnerable of his from the stpoint of he's got something to hide and now you and him know it all
00:15:11
at the same time so I would use it from from that uh from that perspective all right so we don't know what was found in
00:15:19
the trunk and we don't know what was missing from the trunk correct and here's the other thing though too some
00:15:25
of these items they're not very specific on where they're found in the car so just to be clear we're not saying when
00:15:33
we say they say they've never said what was in the trunk or what was not we're not saying that any of these items were
00:15:40
not found in the trunk we just don't know we're going based off of what the police has stated regarding this vehicle
00:15:48
one thing that I found to be extremely interesting and this is the area where they did seem to put a lot of effort and
00:15:54
do their due diligence was they checked the G gas level of the car and their statement was that the level the gas
00:16:05
level in the vehicle was consistent with Jennifer gassing up in Fort Lauderdale and then driving to work in a COI on
00:16:13
Monday and then driving home from work Monday night so whatever happened in this car it did not travel a long way
00:16:22
unless someone put more gas in the tank they could determine that the car did not go through any tolls or toll booths
00:16:31
remember that Jen drove through one daily to and from work so her car did not pass through this toll or any other
00:16:40
tolls since she did herself at 6:15 p.m. on Monday night so what this means here
00:16:48
is and you and I both lean toward the side that she whatever took place whatever happened to her it happened
00:16:55
after she got ready for work and and so if you want to use that as your angle as your go-to then what we
00:17:04
can point out here is she didn't make it very if she got to her car and started driving toward work she did not get very
00:17:13
far because she did not pass through this toll again nor did whomever took her in the photos available of
00:17:20
Jennifer's car there is what appears to be some dried mud that is visible on the
00:17:25
lower driver's side door panel and possibly on the tires as well there was some DNA that was found now that is
00:17:35
about as much as we know about the DNA was found statement yeah it's it's one of those
00:17:43
things I understand why they have to keep so much to their chest right hold it close to the vest but I wish we knew
00:17:55
but what else wasn't found I would guess captain that likely this could just be something as basic and unfortunate as
00:18:03
touch DNA which is it does have some use but could be less this also could be you
00:18:10
know if they found a hair you know because one of the statements is one small Fiber Well there's chance that
00:18:16
there could be often this is not the case but there is a chance that there could be DNA on that hair or Fiber that
00:18:23
was found so what was not found was some of Jennifer stuff this being like her car keys her purse her
00:18:33
iPod and either cell phone hers and travis' cell phones were not found in the vehicle if anything else was found

other than the items listed above the Orlando Police Department has never made this public or addressed it one thing

that we do know though because Rob observed this remember he's near the vehicle or on the scene at the time Rob

says that Jennifer's driver seat was pushed way back further back in his opinion more so than what Jennifer would

have left it this could imply that whomever last operated the vehicle was taller than Jennifer who was listed at
00:19:12
5'7 Or 58 there was no evidence of any disturbance inside the car however as Joyce told CNN quote there was no sign

of trauma in the vehicle whatsoever end quote the Orlando Police Department believes that the was wiped down wiped

clean M crime scene text scoured the Huntington on the green area and picked through a trash container at one point

they are seen photographing a gym bag and some other items it is not known whether these items are even related to

Jennifer or Jennifer's case contrary to online rumors her keychain was never found there there were some reports out

there that eventually I think this was quite some time later that like a keychain and or a key fob belonging to

Jennifer was later found and that is just not true but it's pretty clear that the vehicle was processed yes everything
00:20:15
from the car this includes whatever was in the trunk was sent to Crime Labs operated by the FBI and the Florida
00:20:24
Department of Law Enforcement so how did Jen's car get to Huntington on the green Jen yeah or
00:20:34
Huntington on the poop Jen never activated the satellite GPS system in the vehicle this is because it cost a
00:20:44
monthly fee police surveyed the area to see if there were any surveillance cameras and sure enough on the roof
00:20:52
overlooking the pool area of this apartment complex were some ancient is like 30y old cameras which still took
00:21:03
shots of the pool and parking lot area this is every 2 to 3 seconds so just to be clear here this is not
00:21:12
like a a constant motion recording video recording this is more or less every couple of seconds snap a photo snap a
00:21:21
photo snap a photo this would make somewhat you know Herky jerky video when you try to watch
00:21:29
it later the time stamp on the surveillance cameras was off by an hour and as you and I know that it's always
00:21:36
off well we we discussed that and I have some I have some background in this being a Security administrator for years

at expert at a condo complex yeah the thing that that often takes place and this is usually just by smaller
00:21:54
operations we had a larger operation and and we were you know these were that's what she said
00:22:02
these were higher skill leveled positions than what you find at most areas in most areas what you have is you
00:22:08
have some third-party um Boy Scout looking well that's giving them too much credit
00:22:13
because the Boy Scouts would have been fantastic at at security work they're always prepared the but this is some
00:22:19
kind of Rinky Dink operation that's usually hired off some third party operation that
00:22:26
comes in They Don't Really Care actually called Rinky Dink security company they're not they're not invested in
00:22:33
caring about the actual job these are guys and women that come in there they make slightly above minimum wage they're
00:22:41
just there to sit in a seat and provide the Optics of actual security what takes
00:22:47
place then is the people in charge of these cameras regardless if they're 30 years old or 30 months old right when we
00:22:56
fall ahead or spring forward forward no one bothers to update the time on the cameras so when you have to go back
00:23:03
later and try to find something that creates another obstacle for trying to locate whatever it is that you may or
00:23:10
may not be uh what you believe you're looking for right so despite all of this there was some useful material found on
00:23:20
the footage stored in the cameras Jennifer's Malibu drove into the parking lot at Huntington on the green around
00:23:29
11:59 a.m. on Tuesday January 24th this is right around the time that the kessis were mobilizing for their
00:23:38
Drive North they they've already been made aware of something's going on they are in route to get to Jennifer's place
00:23:46
to see and find out what's going on the car drove front end into a parking spot with its rear facing the camera whoever
00:23:55
was driving stayed inside the car for 32 seconds before exiting the vehicle then
00:24:02
another camera captured the same person walking on the sidewalk along the fence line surrounding the pool the pool area
00:24:12
walking out of view never looking back this was big police had footage of the driver of the car of an abducted
00:24:22
Jennifer cessie surely this was going to be the break that the family and the det

Ives needed but sadly the black and white video footage does not help us find the killer or the abductor yeah the

person who walked away from the car it's been released they are estimated to be this is by the FBI

estimated to be between 5' 3 in and 5' 5 in tall whoever this person is got the luckiest of all Lucky breaks yeah when

you hear this hold on to your seats right now when you hear this you're not going to believe it despite the fact

that he or she is not in any way attempting at all to hide their face his or her face is obscured by the fence

post in every one of the shots taken by the camera yeah there's three pictures I

believe right yeah and each time and there's two thicker poles and twice person's face is blocked

by the thicker pole yeah you know how when you have a fence and you you know you got all the little but then you have

the post it's almost like this person got lucky enough that there they happened the picture was taken at an
00:25:43
angle and their face their what I can only only guess would be an hideous ugly face it's completely covered by the
00:25:53
fence post like you said the thicker portions I mean you can't get any luckier than that yeah even if you paid

somebody to try to recreate this they probably couldn't do it so Drew kessie has stated publicly that even NASA tried

to enhance these snapshots or the video but what we can see online is the best that they say they could do the only
00:26:20
thing that we can tell for certain from the video is that the person of interest
00:26:26
for that what is what he or she was declared to be by law enforcement right it's believed to be
00:26:33
wearing or shows wearing light colored clothing that appears white black shoes and has his or her hair in possibly a
00:26:42
bun or has some kind of hat on people who have seen this video usually believe that the person of interest is wearing
00:26:49
some kind of uniform like a painters or drywallers clothing or even maybe a lme cook yeah uniform but the Orlando Police
00:26:59
Department has announced that the person of interest clothing was likely darker than it appeared and was not white so

unconcluded was able to clarify that the video footage taken by that camera washed out everyone's clothing color
00:27:18
right this comes from Jennifer's mother Joyce so what appears to be white clothes seemingly worn by the person of
00:27:26
interest May in fact not be so white right shockingly even though the Orlando Police Department finally released this
00:27:35
video to the public after a year of keeping it under wraps releasing it only they only released the still shots taken

from the video no one has been able to identify the person who we know to have been driving Jennifer's car so just to
00:27:52
be clear we have those three shots that I was talking about but you're claiming that there's also actual video I can't

say that for certain because if there was video we'd be able to stop that video at different points to get get us

some kind of better look at this individual's hideous face well no because look at me Jerry the way that

the camera itself operated it's not operating every second it's not a complete consistent smooth motion uh

it's just a yeah it's just getting a little bit here and there there is a lot of debate

that there is portions of the video that has not been released and I think that's

because we are only seeing um you know some snapshots that's what came out a year into this case and so there there's

been debate on what we're not seeing look the whole purpose of releasing what they could see on there

was to identify this guy so if if there is any footage be it snapshot or otherwise that shows this individ ual's

face there's no reason to not release that you see what I mean it's not like it's not like we're there's some missing

released and we'll get into that in a little bit but really these Stills show you as much of the person as as you're

going to see at any other point right so I think especially for people that are unfamiliar with this case they probably

if they're right now listening and they don't have the opportunity to look this up probably want to know what we think

we're seeing or what we're looking at I will say this like like we already mentioned the

first thing I noticed there appears to be no the person is in no way trying to hide or conceal their face right it's

just happen stance that we can't see this individual's face and then to take that a step
00:32:53
further I believe that that the person has no idea or maybe does not care that they could
00:33:02
be seen on camera or yeah seen on camera um the other thing here too is with this fence and with this post these
00:33:13
this is where I have a little bit of an issue with what the statements are from the police department saying that you

know even though the the the person of interest even though their clothing may appear to be white or lighter in color

we've run some test and it tends to White out or white wash a lot of what the camera is picking up do we know if

it does anything with the darker colors because if you look at the individual shoes they're there's no detail it looks

like a shadow basically well and I think a lot of that is because of the distance

between this person and the camera mhm the where I call this into question and I'm not saying they're wrong and I'm not

saying that they're lying to us I just when I look at this I'm seeing different varying colors of of dark and light

right and I I just it doesn't make sense to me it seems to me like if it was going to whitewash or or white
00:34:10
out it it should be doing that to everything right or or at least in some form or fashion now I do know that they
00:34:18
according to their statements they came up with this by placing officers and FBI
00:34:24
agents and such in front of these cameras and filming them uhhuh and then looking at it afterwards and they're
00:34:29
like oh your maybe your brown jacket appeared to be gray or appeared to be almost white so I agree with what
00:34:37
they're saying where it's not reliable information what our eyes are telling us here regarding the clothing color of the
00:34:45
person of interest however we can clearly see a dark colored fence it it appears to me like I feel I could
00:34:52
confidently say this individual is wearing lighter CL colored clothing the other thing that I want to throw out
00:34:59
there too is I can't say this with 100% certainty but everything I'm seeing tells me that this individual is
00:35:08
male um again what was the height of the individual well that's the other issue they stated that the person that is in
00:35:17
the video is either between 5 FO 3 in tall and 5' 5 in tall yeah that's pretty small the problem with that according to
00:35:26
to Jennifer's father is that the family was told that several agencies different
00:35:32
law enforcement agencies tried to determine what the approximate height would be of the person seen in these
00:35:39
photos right and it doesn't take Sherlock Holmes or Albert Einstein to really try to figure this out because we
00:35:48
have these fence post and there's these height markers along the way if you were
00:35:52
to throw in the angle of the camera and so on and so forth you could get it a general sense for what the height would
00:35:58
be however the three different agencies came up with varying Heights each one of
00:36:04
them came up with something different what they later told the family was well even though we had different thoughts on
00:36:12
what the height of the individual could be we just decided to go with what the FBI came up with so I don't know that
00:36:19
