00:03:50
appeared to be a human hand was opened by staff at fals Creek Elementary School after 1: p.m. today another package
00:03:58
containing What appeared to be human foot was found by staff at St George's school later this afternoon I can't link
00:04:04
it to anything right now um as we progress in the investigation we will provide as much information as we
00:04:12
Canal we have Lia with Montreal and we Lia with any other police agencies that we need to in the course of the
00:04:19
investigation this is a really traumatic or difficult um situation for absolutely
00:04:25
everybody um and that you know we're we're doing our best to try and uh make sure it's is uh that our students are
00:04:31
not um negatively impacted as as best as we can uh it's obviously a very tricky thing to do uh but we want to try and
00:04:40
try and really um hammer home a cal for for people to have a calm uh perspective
00:04:46
on this where possible and that uh take take um I think we're hoping that people
00:04:52
understand that we're doing our best in a very difficult situation I just wanted to uh break a little news
00:05:09
that I just handed from my colleagues at The Sun News Network in that The Vancouver Police have just uh indicated
00:05:16
that they're investigating finding two body parts I repeat two body parts sent to two schools in Vancouver it's just
00:05:23
breaking now and so I you know interesting you mentioned about the head earlier we don't know what they are but
00:05:29
there's Street pieces missing and there may be two have shown up Jane you said that to schools these body parts were
00:05:36
sent to schools yeah uh that's right um they were sent uh to two schools and they received them today Vancouver
00:05:45
Police on the west coast here in Canada uh have just uh they're investigating now it's breaking just seconds ago and
00:05:53
um it's uh so you know the the clues uh I don't know what they are Jane we'll have to find out but this puts it to
00:05:59
five and so it'll be interesting to see that your previous guest mentioned the head because uh you know it could be
00:06:05
there or maybe that is the trophy and uh that's the one piece that we don't know
00:06:10
where it is and it does remind us a lot of Jeffrey dmer there's no question about it particularly you know you deal
00:06:16
with this Asian victim uh which there was Jeffrey dber case and the fact there was just this Brazen right in the middle
00:06:23
of Milwaukee here right in the middle of Montreal and also Berlin very crazy stuff Jane it's very crazy it's very
00:06:30
disturbing well let's listen to the news conference that ended literally moments
00:06:34
ago out of Vancouver law enforcement describing two body parts that showed up at
00:06:41
schools The Vancouver Police are investigating two disturbing incidents in which human remains were discovered
00:06:47
in separate packages mailed to two local area schools this afternoon the first package containing What appeared to be a
00:06:53
human hand was opened by staff at fals Creek Elementary School after 1: p.m. today another package containing What
00:07:01
appeared to be human foot was found by staff at St George's school later this afternoon unbelievable Robin wilinsky
00:07:09
acre reporter The Blaze do you think this is the tip of the iceberg from your many years covering
00:07:14
[Music] grme Jane I I think there's going to be more I think he started with the animals
00:07:28
he didn't get high enough and then he moved on to humans I listened to that news conference live with you here and
00:07:35
what strikes me about it is is that from a CSI perspective this is a treasure those two boxes that were sent to the
00:07:42
school Jane they have the wrapping they have the tape they have possible fingerprints the material possibly in
00:07:50
plastic if he put the body parts in there they will take those two boxes and compare them to the one box that was
00:07:57
sent to the Canadian Prime Minister to Steven Harper's conservative party and then to the fourth box that was sent to
00:08:03
the liberal party they will look at all four of those boxes and compare and contrast the 29-year-old suspect we're
00:08:18
looking for is Roa Luca manota you get a picture of the suspect you get his name
00:08:23
also he's also known with the second name which is Eric Clinton Newman this is the 29y old suspect were looking for
00:08:31
uh involv in this 11th homicide on the Montreal auor this year um you get a picture of the suspect were looking for
00:08:37
him uh a warrant that been issue uh this is a coast to coast warrant we're looking for the suspect and if anyone
00:08:42
got information for us uh they will have to die 911 this is a priority for us we
00:08:47
really need to get a touch of that suspect as soon as possible we know that suspect and victim they know each other
00:08:53
so it's not a random attack they knew each other um the victim that we found uh the identity is not confirmed yet but
00:09:00
we know something for a fact this is a male uh a white male this is what we get uh we're waiting for confirmation of his
00:09:06
identity as you know part of the body was just this mental so for us it's hard to establish his identity we had all the
00:09:12
reasons to believe this is connected um although we don't have any 100% confirmation why that is because we do
00:09:18
need a DNA match to confirm that 100% we got all the reasons to believe this is the same body that have been said we're
00:09:26
still missing a few part of the puzzle uh in term of body parts and so yes this is a a special crime scene the crime was
00:09:34
horrible but suspect and uh victim they know each other I'm not going to tell you I'm happy to say you that but at
00:09:39
least it wasn't a random attack this is horrible no one deserved that but at least suspect and victim they know each
00:09:46
other so it wasn't a random attack and that I can confirm you as a [Music] fact [Music]

May 26 2012 Roger Renville a lawyer in Montana He is enjoying his day off from work he will spend part of his Saturday
00:10:18
surfing the internet Roger starts off by checking his email messaging some friends and then looking for a new funny
00:10:25
video posted Roger sees a bizarre internet video titled One Lunatic one ice pick he clicks on the video to view
00:10:34
it the video shows a man tied to a bed and then the camera shuts off when it continues the man on the Bed is Dead
00:10:43
then a man comes into frame and goes over to the lifeless body on the bed and begins stabbing the corpse repeatedly
00:10:49
with an ice pick over and over again then with a knife the suspect is going to dismantle the victim the following
00:10:56
day Roger can't get the video out of of his head a lot of stuff on the internet is fake but Roger couldn't help but
00:11:03
believe that the video was real it looked awfully real to him so Roger believes that he had seen a genuine
00:11:10
snuff film he alerted the US and the Canadian police and reported the internet video both Count's authorities
00:11:18
dismissed the video as a fake so we have this situation here Captain we have somebody that spotted a very gruesome
00:11:25
video and I didn't go into a ton of detail that's not our thing exactly well the thing here is Captain you know
00:11:32
people upload these shocking videos to different websites and then what what boggles my mind is that then people
00:11:39
record themselves watching those videos and and getting their reaction yeah called reaction videos the thing here is
00:11:46
I never saw this video thankfully never saw this video One Lunatic and one ice pick and even when we you know decided
00:11:54
to cover this case I know that it's been taken down from the the bestgore.com website where it was originally uploaded
00:12:02
to it was about a 10 or 11 minute video um I'm sure it's probably hidden somewhere in the dark corners or dark
00:12:10
attics and basements and crawl spaces of the internet you can still find it in the Deep Web yeah okay well I'm glad I
00:12:17
didn't go looking for it because I didn't want to see it uh the thing here is like I said it's 10 or 11 minutes not
00:12:23
seeing it myself trying to describe the video is tough for me to do but but the thing here is you know there were other
00:12:30
things in that video that that we didn't get to there there there were acts of necrofilia there was the dismemberment
00:12:37
there's also a portion of the video where where a dog is involved in in chewing on the body and what we were
00:12:44
talking about earlier is that it kind of seems like uh this video was staged I mean there's music playing we have new
00:12:50
order uh the song was true Faith this was a a release from 1987 yeah I've not seen the video but
00:12:58
but but the way it's been described to me Captain is it somebody didn't just willy-nilly set up a camera and decide
00:13:05
to record this like you said it appears to be staged it also appears to be planned out thought out like you said
00:13:12
putting together a soundtrack for the future video yeah so at this point in the timeline we have some people that we
00:13:19
have an audience for this video that have seen the video but we have no confirmation if this is actually real or
00:13:25
if this is just a false video on the morning of May 29th 2012 around 10:00 a.m. a janitor working at an apartment
00:13:34
building in the Snowden District of Montreal makes a Grizzly Discovery amongst bags of garbage and old
00:13:41
discarded Furniture he finds a suitcase and he decides to open it up inside the suitcase the janitor finds a human torso
00:13:50
the authorities are called upon arrival the janitor tells the police that he first saw the suitcase 4 days earlier M
00:13:59
but there was so much trash and he had so much to do that this was the first he could get around to collecting
00:14:05
everything police started searching the trash in the alleyway for remaining body
00:14:11
parts right and this is not going to be the only body part that we find that day
00:14:16
no because just about an hour later this is 200 kmet away at the national headquarters for the Conservative Party
00:14:23
of Canada Lo located in Ottawa M the office received their mail just like any other business day typically the office
00:14:30
would receive the usual stuff you know bills letters packages big and small on this day there was one particular
00:14:38
package that stood out from the rest this was not a particularly large package smaller than average size but
00:14:44
the box is labeled with a red heart symbol all right maybe we shouldn't opened that one well according to the
00:14:52
return address that package was mailed from a Renee Borday the office assistant in charge of receiving receiving and
00:14:59
distributing the mail started to open the box inside she could see something wrapped up but what was more alarming
00:15:06
was that the the package it it stunk uh there was an extremely foul odor coming from this package she noticed what she
00:15:15
thought to be blood stains on the bottom of the Box the assistant stopped what she was doing she was too Disturbed and
00:15:23
upset to open the package any further she took the small box to her boss her boss opened up the box inside there were
00:15:33
uh pieces of bright pink tissue paper stuffed inside the box to protect the contents from being damaged the contents
00:15:41
well there was something soft and mushy wrapped in a black garbage bag um she asked the assistant to bring her a pair
00:15:50
of scissors and as she cut open the bag she noted that strong rotting smell just
00:15:56
kind of blowing out at her there from she she she now knew for certain that there was something very not right about
00:16:05
this situation right but that's when you stop you call the police you have them open it you shouldn't opened packages
00:16:12
like that and you're you are exactly right Captain that's exactly what she did they called the Ottawa Police they
00:16:18
came quickly um and it would be their job to finish opening up this package inside the officers found a severed left
00:16:27
foot and they found a note and the note read Steven Harper and Loren tesy will know who this is oh and I kind of forgot
00:16:36
this was in here Captain so I I do apologize in advance but I'm just reading somebody else's words the note
00:16:42
from what I could find read stepen Harper and Lauren tesy will know who this is they [ __ ] up big
00:16:49
time um like I said I believe there's more to that note uh but the people that are named here who was Steven Harper and
00:16:57
Lauren tesky well I I got to I got to throw in my ignorance here I didn't know who these people were uh Steven Harper
00:17:04
at the time was the Prime Minister and Lauren is his wife so it appears to me that this might be some kind of tease or
00:17:14
taunting you know when you throw in a big name like the prime minister right into into an awful package like this we
00:17:21
clearly have a victim but but the mention of Harper and tesky likely think well but I'm saying the the mention of
00:17:30
these two people these important people likely has no bearing on the case or its
00:17:35
investigation these crime packages being delivered won't stop there for that day
00:17:40
right so we have the horrible package that was received at the headquarters for the conservative party the police
00:17:47
the investigators have a full-blown you know what one would assume will easily turn into a homicide case they are on
00:17:55
high alert they are going to go to the Canada Post post that's the country's primary postal operator uh there they
00:18:03
find a similar package this one is addressed to the Liberal Party of Canada and again it is from Renee bordet does
00:18:12
it have a heart shape on the box I you know I was looking for that I I found in one article that it said that there was
00:18:19
a heart-shaped Bo heart-shaped symbol on this second package but most of the Articles never mention that so I don't
00:18:27
know if they just got confir it I don't know yeah I don't know if they just confused the two packages or if it in
00:18:32
fact had the same thing but the the important thing here is you'll see the same name on the return address that
00:18:38
that Renee Borday inside the um investigators uncovered more gruesome findings this is a severed left hand
00:18:48
again along with a note and this note said you need to speak to Lauren tesy and her family lots to hide all right so
00:18:59
that's the prime minister's wife but we actually don't think that she's involved
00:19:03
or he's involved in this crime at all or would even know anything about possibly
00:19:08
the victim or the perpetrator of whoever is mailing these these horrible packages
00:19:13
but one could assume maybe that this is some kind of political act you know like
00:19:18
uh I murdered uh for the reasons of some political action mhm yeah that somebody
00:19:24
that wants to speak out or speak up for something uh the investig ators are able
00:19:29
to trace the origin of these two packages to a post office near Montreal now there they are sifting
00:19:37
through the surveillance footage MH police find who they believe is the man that they will be looking for they have
00:19:46
video of a Young Man the video shows a Caucasian male possibly in his late 20s or early 30s dropping off several
00:19:54
packages matching the two packages that were previously found but but now they have to put a name to
00:20:02
this face the the face of the man mailing the body parts well big mistake right away from you have identifiers on
00:20:11
the box that you're mailing that's a big mistake well the name Renee Borday is going to have no ties to the person
00:20:18
mailing out these packages mhm meanwhile back at the apartment building remember
00:20:23
the janitor found the Torso there after searching through the trash police list their findings as such the Torso was
00:20:32
found in the suitcase but they also found bloody clothing they found several sharp blunt objects and papers which
00:20:41
they believe might identify a possible suspect and just like the police did at the post office they're going to want to
00:20:47
look at this surveillance footage of the apartment complex very closely on it they see who they believe to be their
00:20:54
suspect a 29-year-old Man by the name of Luca uh the footage from the surveillance
00:21:01
camera showed Luca bringing NuMe numerous garbage bags outside police learned that MCN had lived in the
00:21:09
apartment building at 5720 Deary Boulevard in apartment 208 and all the surveillance footage that
00:21:16
we're talking about of the apartment scenes of him throwing away the trash and stuff like that M you can see online
00:21:22
if you are interested in looking at that the apartment 208 apartment is Loc Lo ated on the building's second floor
00:21:31
around 11:30 p.m. the police go to the apartment letting themselves in and they find an apartment that is covered in
00:21:39
blood the apartment quickly becomes the central focus in the investigation M inside they find pink bed sheets soaked
00:21:48
in blood a purple blood streak shower curtain and they find more blood in the refrigerator on the table and lots in
00:21:57
the bath tub um I had read one report that said that when they picked up the mattress because they they believed
00:22:05
because of the amount of blood that they found over on the mattress that the The
00:22:10
Killing had started there right that when they lifted up the mattress itself there was so much blood absorbed by that
00:22:17
mattress that it had soaked through to the bottom so pretty quickly law enforcement they have the apartment they
00:22:22
have the location they have now receiving these packages with severed limbs from a victim we don't have the
00:22:28
identity of the victim yet and we also have surveillance footage of what we possibly believe is the suspect we also
00:22:36
believe that he lived in this apartment so now we're getting some identity here mhm and what else do they find in the
00:22:43
apartment as evidence well for the most part the apartment itself it looked like
00:22:48
it had been emptied out like somebody was in the process of moving out of the apartment um but they also find a
00:22:55
cryptic message left on the wall somebody had wrote If you don't like the reflection don't look in the mirror I
00:23:03
don't care uh it was obvious to investigators that this Luca MCN who had lived at the apartment had left the
00:23:10
apartment and most likely left the area them believing that he is their suspect at the same time police are discovering
00:23:19
additional footage from the building surveillance system this is of Luca with a man of about the same age uh and he
00:23:28
looks like like the likely victim here now we've seen this video Captain right they're walking into the apartment
00:23:36
building together and it almost looks yeah it looks like they're walking in and and Luca has some things in his hand
00:23:42
I don't know if it's you know take out carry out something like that but he's he's fumbling trying to get the keys in
00:23:49
the door he's got to unlock the door and the there's really kind of a a sad interaction that you see in that video
00:23:57
because because you know we know the outcome of this situation but even viewing that video for the first time
00:24:04
you're seeing what what appears to be the suspect and the victim and where Luca he he looks like he's even wearing
00:24:12
a wig to me he holds the door open for his victim for the for the guy that he's going to kill here shortly he holds the
00:24:21
door for him in like a a sweet Manner and then the victim steps inside and and stands there turns and waits for Luca to
00:24:29
come into the hallway with him if you didn't know the outcome of this situation you would think that you were
00:24:36
looking at two friends walking together into a building yeah or or possibly um romantically involved yeah you know so
00:24:45
yeah I don't know it's it's those things are just as hard you know as far as the gruesome videos those
00:24:52
are you know something I don't you know seek out to watch uh but even these surveillance films especially when once
00:25:00
you know that this this guy is going to end up being a victim those are almost to me as as hard to watch mhm well with
00:25:08
all of this this uh surveillance footage that the police have collected they agree that the footage from the
00:25:16
apartment it looks a lot like the same guy that they have from the footage from the post office mailing the packages so
00:25:22
now that's that's basically their confirmation we've seen both it it looks identical and then you found the Torso
00:25:29
at the apartment we we know what's going on here at one point in the surveillance
00:25:33
video you know like we talked about you know that we have the suspect and we have the victim walking in together the
00:25:38
victim's actually wearing like a yellow t-shirt of some kind and then when Luca comes back out and he's you know taking
00:25:46
out the trash and stuff he's wearing the victim's shirt yeah certain parts of that surveillance footage video really
00:25:53
really bothered me and really tug at the old heartstrings there there's a lot more to get to two about this case right

00:28:30
big shout out to Amber hook yeah we got a message from your brother Todd on Instagram so cheers to everybody out
00:28:36
there this brings us to May 30th 2012 this is just the day after those two packages are received and then the Torso
00:28:44
is found in the suitcase at the apartment complex we have an international Manhunt that is underway
00:28:52
this is this is after Montreal police named Luca magnata as their suspect effect and accused him of killing a man
00:29:00
and mailing the body parts to various locations well I'm looking into Old puka uh he's he travels the world you know
00:29:09
he's been known to travel to different locations so this makes it you know we have our suspect but now we have a guy
00:29:16
that is a known traveler to even other countries so we got to catch this individual before this happens again
00:29:23
police identify Luca Roco magnata age 29 as the suspect he is also known by the names Eric Clinton Newman and Vladimir
00:29:34
Romanov uh there are profiles circulating online describing him as a male model and a bisexual porn actor now
00:29:43
when I say that there are profiles circulating there are a lot of profiles circulating and furthermore there are
00:29:50
many many photos of him online and some of the photos aren't actually real they're photoshopped he he kind of
00:29:57
creates his own image he's even known to you know somebody be in Miami and he finds somebody that kind of looks like
00:30:04
him and he photoshops his head onto them so it makes it look like he's traveling
00:30:09
to Miami yeah and you'll see a lot of photos that look like he's posing for maybe a magazine uh or you'll see
00:30:18
pictures of him in fancy sports cars or in front of expensive properties um and like like the captain said we don't know
00:30:27
how many of these photos are photoshopped um where right but some are some of them are so clear that you know
00:30:34
so clearly photoshopped that you know they're pretty ridiculous um he's just a very odd guy well and the thing that you
00:30:43
learn there is that he's he's almost creating a personality he's creating a lifestyle for you to see of him someone
00:30:52
that's traveling the world he he's riding around an expensive cars going to expensive places creating a Persona
00:31:00
online for all of us to view and admire well and on top of that he's creating fictitious profiles so then therefore
00:31:07
those fictitious profiles could interact with the real profiles so what he' do he
00:31:12
he'd post a picture of something and then he' go onto his fake profiles and like you know the picture or comment on
00:31:18
the picture and he would like make up ridiculous claims like ah Luca is a big huge celebrity here in Canada he is you
00:31:27
know he is God in Canada M well every morning Captain when I wake up and I'm eating my lucky charm cereal the first
00:31:34
thing I do is I go onto the Facebook page for True Crime garage and I like us you mean I wake up and after I eat my
00:31:44
Lucky Charms I I take off my diapers and my mommy powder my butt uh okay yeah just for stop liking us I can see it
00:31:54
just for that tomorrow I'm going to like me and dislike you the on the following
00:31:58
day May 31st 2012 the Montreal police they tell the global news that they have information suggesting MCN had left the
00:32:08
country and they're pretty sure he's in Europe somewhere now media reports suggest that he may have traveled to
00:32:16
France but at this time I mean still really anywhere is a possibility in my opinion he he could be anywhere he he
00:32:25
could still be in Canada or maybe even Russia you know we see from his online profiles his online Persona that he
00:32:32
talks about having Russian ties that he might the ties are to the Russian mafia not only says that but he also says that
00:32:40
he is Russian you know or that he's of Russian and Italian descent so really he could be anywhere now on June 1st the
00:32:51
Montreal police identify the victim in Montreal's Grizzly murder and dis mment case as missing Concordia University
00:33:00
student Jun Lynn yeah now some people will say that his name is Jun Lin and sometimes you'll say hear Lyn June Lynn
00:33:08
was a 33-year-old student from China he was actually reported missing on May 30th this is just one day after a
00:33:16
janitor in Montreal found the Torso of the man locked in a suitcase police are now saying it is possible that Jun Lynn
00:33:25
the victim in magnata had some sort of relationship well the thing here is Captain with with Mr Lynn he his his
00:33:33
family suspected something was going on before he was actually reported missing his his boss reported that he had not
00:33:40
shown up for work on a particular day and this was very unlike him we also have his friends they say that they
00:33:48
hadn't seen him in days so they reach out to his family and this is where he's officially reported as missing now how
00:33:54
does he come in contact with uh old PCA well the thing here is at first the police state that they had they believed
00:34:02
that the two might have had some kind of relationship um and I think maybe part of that is from what they could witness
00:34:08
from that apartment from the apartment surveillance footage like I said it was almost like two friends walking in
00:34:15
together or like you said maybe somebody in a relationship together walking in together uh but the situation was not
00:34:21
that the situation was that he had responded to some kind of ad that Luca MCN had placed looking for uh
00:34:30
companionship yeah it's not that simple the ad was more wasn't it to make a video he was looking for somebody to
00:34:37
join him in making a video and I believe it was like a sexual video well either way we have the student Lynn responding
00:34:46
to an ad um there apparently there was no long-term relationship as far as I could find Jun Lyn had not even been in
00:34:53
Canada for that long or in the area for that long for there to be a long-term relationship and at this point law
00:35:00
enforcement is not releasing all the information on the notes that they found with the body parts they're also not
00:35:06
releasing a lot of the information or like some of the writings and stuff that they found in um magna's apartment and
00:35:14
the reason for this and why the public is calling it into question so much is because I apologize but but there's no
00:35:23
nice way of saying this there are still pieces of the victim missing at this point in the investigation You Know Not
00:35:30
only was Luca magn seen mailing several packages but it was also communicated somewhere in those notes that six body
00:35:39
parts had been distributed and Luca was claiming that the perpetrator of this crime would most certainly kill again so
00:35:48
we have a threat with him being on the run and we also have um you know evidence and portions of the victim that
00:35:56
still need to be found we do have a threat on certain people receiving these body parts I mean like we said before
00:36:03
some of the body parts were sent to school and luckily those were intercepted and you know no kid opened
00:36:11
up those uh packages it's around this time in the investigation captain that the police now believe that the video
00:36:18
published on May 25th titled One Lunatic one ice pick uh again that this is a video depicting the murder of jun Lynn
00:36:27
committed on camera by Luca magnata and there was actually a lot of reaction videos posted on this again a lot of
00:36:35
people not knowing that if if was real or it was hoax uh you can actually find the footage of that of the reaction
00:36:43
videos uh I think playing any of that material would be out of distaste they suspected him so much that at this point
00:36:51
with interpole uh in the search for Luca mnat they were listing what charg Luca would face if apprehended and these
00:36:59
charges included first-degree murder committing an indignity to a dead body publishing obscene material mailing
00:37:07
obscene IND indecent and immoral material well and not only that but also threatening criminally uh the the Prime
00:37:15
Minister Steven Harper yeah along with several members of parliament now interpool issued a red notice uh for
00:37:24
Luca magnata what's a red notice I don't I don't but I'm guessing that that's a pretty I I'm guessing the red notice is
00:37:30
like the highest alert notice okay you know find this guy pretty pretty please find this guy with the cherry on top uh
00:37:37
this is at the request of the Canadian authorities magnata is he is to be tracked down apprehended and he's going
00:37:45
to be extradited back to Canada if they can find this guy now the international police are learning quite a bit about
00:37:53
MC's movements after the murder they learned that MCN had booked a roundtrip flight from Montreal to France using a
00:38:02
passport with his name on it on May 25th this is just 4 days before they discovered the remains now magnata would
00:38:11
be a noow of course for the return flight after arriving in France mcnada used a different passport to check into
00:38:20
a hotel the passport name was Kirk traml uh after the manh hunt for MCN got underway authorities were able to trace
00:38:30
his cell phone you know mnat even even even though he's on the Run he's still using his phone you know many times on
00:38:38
the show we've talked about my theory that some serial killers are addicted to hunting or addicted to killing people
00:38:47
and of course magnata he's a different breed of monster to me he is someone that is addicted to his phone and
00:38:54
addicted to checking the internet so much so that he can't stop himself from logging on well and I think some of it
00:39:01
too was he's trying to figure out what uh law enforcement knew about the murders and did they have him as a
00:39:08
suspect M yeah so they they trace his phone to the hotel but unfortunately magnata had left before they could track
00:39:16
him down so they they go to this hotel looking for Luca they get there he's no longer there but they are on his Trail
00:39:23
now and on June 4th Luca MCN is apprehended by Berlin Police at an internet cafe yeah and what is old
00:39:31
self-obsessed [ __ ] stain puka doing he's in the internet cafe Googling himself
00:39:39
you know and I heard if you Google yourself too much you go blind but so he's sitting there looking up uh I think
00:39:46
not only stuff about the case that's happening you know he's searching himself on Google Images yeah and and
00:39:52
like you said earlier he's reading news stories about himself as well well looking up pictures of himself now when
00:39:59
he's first approached by the Berlin Police he you know he says no you got the wrong guy he gives a fake name he
00:40:08
tries this several times and finally he ends up saying you know he ends up admitting who he is and later
00:40:15
fingerprints would confirm this um and he essentially leaves his without incident you know he he gets apprehended
00:40:22
and he leaves without incident now on June 5th that same year a package containing a
00:40:29
right foot was delivered to the St George's School uh another package containing a right hand was delivered to
00:40:38
false Creek Elementary School in Vancouver uh both schools opened as normal the following morning uh it was
00:40:46
confirmed that both packages were sent from Montreal and like the captain said these things these things were sent to
00:40:53
schools and and luckily children didn't and end up finding them or or seeing them right and then what they're looking
00:41:00
for now is they're they want to know you know we got LCA and custody they're talking with him they they're trying to
00:41:08
figure out where Jun Lyn's head is MH and that's because they want to give him a a proper burial yeah his family would
00:41:16
like to return him to China now the other thing that we have to be concerned with here is that are all of these
00:41:24
packages belonging to the the same victim and it wasn't until June 13 that the four limbs in the Torso were matched
00:41:33
to the victim Jun Lyn using DNA samples from his family and it wasn't until July
00:41:40
1st that the head was recovered at the edge of a small Lake in a Montreal Park after police received an anonymous tip a
00:41:49
lot of people suspect that that tip came from Luca himself but I haven't been able to confirm that myself it's quite
00:41:55
possible you you know they they do their investigations a little bit differently
00:41:59
than we do they up in Canada they handle their news a little more discretly when
00:42:04
it comes to these types of situations I'm just going over my notes Here captain and I wanted to talk about Jun
00:42:11
Lynn real quick here our our victim and I misspoke earlier I have in my notes that he arrived in Canada in July of
00:42:19
2011 so he would have been there long enough for some potential uh long-term relationship but that was not the case
00:42:25
he did not have a long-term relationship with Luca magnata as we said you know he
00:42:30
was he was from China he was going to go to college he was seeking a degree in computer science um from the Concordia
00:42:38
University I'm not certain but I I believe that I read that you know this was like a uh he was going to be one of
00:42:46
the first you know he was certainly the first in his family to travel abroad and
00:42:50
go to college this was kind of not just his dream but also the family dream and you know one one piece of footage that I
00:42:59
saw re you know that really kind of really kind of affected me was you know when we talk about these victims they're
00:43:06
kind of we only get a screenshot you know just a very brief glimpse into their life because unfortunately and and
00:43:13
I hate that it's this way but unfortunately the victims end up being the smaller part of the story which is
00:43:20
which is terrible because that's the worst part of the story that's the part that lasts forever the hurt that lasts
00:43:26
forever now the thing with with Mr Lynn here Not only was he young and outgoing but there was a a video that I saw of
00:43:34
him he's singing karaoke and you just get this vibe that this is this is a a really good guy an
00:43:41
outgoing person that's full of life and full of excitement uh you know and I saw
00:43:46
some of his other posts where they were um text messages and and pictures that he was sending back to his family and a
00:43:54
lot of it was nature or Ed and a lot of it was very um positive stuff you know look how beautiful it is out today
00:44:02
things like that so truly a good person that that that came across just a monster and and we've lost him because
00:44:09
of that yeah very uh tragic story yeah on June 18th Luca magnata was flown aboard a Royal Canadian Air Force plane
00:44:19
back to Canada uh they deemed that there were too many safety concerns to use uh
00:44:24
commercial flight back to to transport him back to Canada now soon after he arrives in Canada his trial is going to
00:44:33
begin well before the trial happens they're going to be looking into Old PCA notada and as they're looking into this
00:44:40
visual they're going to realize this guy's a sicko right and be long before the body parts long before the murder
00:44:48
long before the the vide tape being posted he he was doing some stuff that should have had them on the radar if you
00:44:56
know to me he should have already been locked up and put behind bars are you going to call him PCA the whole time you
00:45:03
got me laughing the first time I'll call him whatever the hell I want to call him
00:45:07
um it doesn't bother me one bit captain no I agree with you there were things going on and there were red flags going
00:45:14
up that this whole tragedy might have been may have never have happened had they picked him up for some of these
00:45:22
other crimes so once they start diving into this we're want to ask who is Luca [Music]
00:45:40
mcnada hi my name is LC Luca magot is my last name m a g n o TTA hi LCA how are you today good how
00:45:50
are you to cover so right the away you know this is underwear comp I'm going ask you to this Ro
00:45:56
right away all right definitely John how come when his voice was lower yours lower I have a very deep voice a lot of
00:46:03
people tell me that actually so how do you get your voice so deep how do I get my voice so deep
00:46:10
practice makes perfect right you got kind of a r f Vibe going on a lot of people tell me that like
00:46:17
they remind me of like 54 that the movie you know yeah he happens to be one of my
00:46:21
favorites too yeah I think you look good I think that that your body is a little
00:46:25
bit slim I used to be really overweight to be honest uh I used to be really overweight and I lost like weight really
00:46:32
how did you do that I just like got every morning at like 4:00 and like ran constantly and people would tell me oh
00:46:38
stop running stop running and I just kept doing it basically what's your idea of overweight oh God I was I was I was a
00:46:45
lot of overweight actually so like you know CU your hair color is that natural uh no actually I just got to highlight
00:46:53
it to change things up a bit yeah all right little biten I know that when you go swimming a lot I noticed the blondes
00:46:59
tend to go in corated water a little bit on the greeny yellow side yeah that's what happened to me yeah for sure a
00:47:05
little bit healthier yeah definitely dry that happens sometimes right you know I
00:47:11
think I think he looks good I think he has a chest I'm going to give him a yes thank
00:47:16
you I think this found you got be a little bit built up you know like I think I have no problem gaining weight
00:47:23
like I can gain weight if I need to gain weight I'm actually thinking more muscle
00:47:26
definition I think I think you do have a very nice Le that could happen really quickly I can gain weight really quickly
00:47:33
I'm going to say potentially I think you do have potential but I'm going to ask you to come back
00:47:38
next all right um Luka I'm I'm surprised to see how you love cuz I think you look better in person in front
00:47:53
of me than you look in your moding portfolio I think your photos are Overexposed and
00:47:58
blown out your bone structure and I think you have some interesting bone structure um I think those photos look
00:48:04
good I I do I think that they look very good I think they look that's what attracted to I think he looks better in
00:48:12
the photo a lot of people tell me I'm really devastating legal looking so that I me a picture like that is kind of a
00:48:18
yeah but I think the problem is that what is good for covered eye isn't always what you're attracted to in your
00:48:23
personal life and know that he's very well everyone has their personal point of view like who who they like and who
00:48:29
they don't like basically I just don't think he's Bey enough forover I don't think you have the muscul yet I can I
00:48:36
definitely can gain weight I know you say can gain weight but you you don't think I can how much weight can you gain
00:48:41
in two weeks I can gain muscle everybody can do it you know I can gain muscle I can work out I'm very determined and
00:48:47
every goal that I put my uh mind to I surpass all right so we uh we learn what Luca is
00:49:02
I mean Luca is determined and whatever he puts his mind to he accomplishes he also comes off as somebody that's
00:49:08
willing to be whatever you want him to be M to fit in I mean there he is trying out for I believe that's his try out for
00:49:16
a thing called cover guy right um now he had done several of these tryouts he's ultimately turned down for this this TV
00:49:25
show or for the cover of a magazine whatever this cover guy thing is but uh you hear him you know any any thing that
00:49:32
they point out that they might be looking for that's different he's willing to fit the mold he's willing to
00:49:38
adapt himself physically and mentally to whatever they need which is definitely I
00:49:44
mean you know part of you feels for him you know part of you is you know saded that there's an individual out there
00:49:51
that is willing just be like hey whatever you want me to be I'll be yeah but he was doing this well before his
00:49:57
tryouts you know and this is what we talked about with his Persona online that he's creating of himself well he
00:50:02
definitely has some you know self-loathing he definitely has some kind of you know body
00:50:09
dysmorphia uh he he has a lot of mental issues going on here and we also learned
00:50:14
that not only is he constantly changing his appearance with the use of makeup or
00:50:20
dying his hair changing his clothing um you know he he's always creating he's always changing and adapting but we also
00:50:29
learned that he's had some cosmetic surgeries done as well and we realize this because he does an interview he's
00:50:35
trying to become a contestant on a show and if you win the show you get cosmetic
00:50:41
surgery so let's go to this little clip of uh Luca magnata talking about his plastic surgery and and his viewpoints
00:50:48
on [Music] that all right my name is Luca magn and I'm 25 and what do you do for a living I'm a
00:50:59
model okay do you want to talk about the other stuff that you do yeah definitely
00:51:03
is that okay with yeah that's all totally fine basically um I do a lot of uh adult modeling and um I do adult
00:51:12
films as well and I'm pretty comfortable in front of the camera so I'm doing it for a while and it's been working pretty
00:51:21
good for me so and you do it full time it's I do it's full-time whether it's doing the films or doing magazines or
00:51:30
Internet uh shows what have you um it's all very consistent so it's been really good for
00:51:37
me it's great how long you been doing it on and off for about 2 years now you know I travel then I come back to
00:51:43
Toronto and do it I go to Montreal and do it go to La so whenever right yeah wh the paychecks come from definitely so
00:51:51
what is the surgery you're thinking about having done or the procedure um well it's going to be a the back of my
00:51:56
uh uh head I've uh had three done sorry two done already can you tell me what it
00:52:01
is you're having done it's a hair transplant and basically so me just go on the bed I'll yeah tell me a little
00:52:08
bit about the procedure yeah okay so basically uh back of my head here is going to be uh Frozen I'm awake through
00:52:16
the entire procedure and there's like no uh uh what do you call that anesthetic there's no like you don't get put under
00:52:24
your sleep right so basically uh they cut open the back of my head and they take a strip flesh off and they they cut
00:52:35
it off and they take it uh to the side and nurses work on it for a few hours by taking each uh individual hair out uh of
00:52:43
the graph and then they sew the back of my head up and that takes about an hour uh so they pull the skin down or yeah
00:52:51
they pull it they pull it down and tighten it and sew it back up then while the nurses are working on taking the
00:52:57
hairs out uh the doctor puts me back and he tries to decide where exactly all of
00:53:03
them are going to be needing to be placed so it looks very natural okay and uh as you can tell here in the front of
00:53:10
my head I'll the hair is grown in pretty nice cuz I used to be receding so it's it's grown in and um so basically they
00:53:18
take all the individual hairs and one by one they put it transplant it into my scalp and um wherever they feel it needs
00:53:26
to be yeah definitely so it's all filled in and there's no I guess basically uh at the back of my head here it's I cover
00:53:35
it well with my hair but uh it's uh it's going not bald but I don't have denial here you know what I mean I guess you
00:53:46
can say it is kind of going bald then but I I just every time I look in the mirror it seems to be getting worse I
00:53:52
want to like completely yeah eliminate it and stuff stop it you know before obviously because I can have my hair
00:54:00
looking uh like I'm 50 years old when I'm 25 right so I want it to look pretty good yeah and um I've had cosmetic
00:54:08
surgeries done in the past so I'm pretty used to them and what have you had done
00:54:12
in the past I had my eyes done here cuz I used to have dark circles underneath my eyes and was completely making me
00:54:21
look like I was tired all the time um I've had my nose done I've had uh two hair transplants like I said before and
00:54:31
I'm planning on doing muscle implants in my pecs and my arms so that just remains
00:54:38
to be seen by because that's pretty you think you're a bit of an addict yeah my name is Luca and I'm a
00:54:45
cosmetic surgery addict but yeah I I would say to be out to be blatantly honest I I think that I I am because
00:54:53
just the profession that that I'm in it makes me more aware of my looks because I'm constantly seeing other people you
00:55:02
know that are trly goodl looking how they look and I'm comparing myself so I need to um step up my game basically and
00:55:09
that's why I'm having all these procedures done do you feel it's more a modeling thing or more of an adult
00:55:15
entertainment thing you feel the pressure I would say it has to be both because both Industries are so
00:55:22
competitive uh that they they they both need you to look your best all the time and there's just a lot of stress and a
00:55:29
lot of anxiety uh in both Industries you know so I have to say B both definitely there's pressure to look
00:55:40
good there is so much pressure look cuz you're you're on set with these other people and you know you see how they
00:55:46
look and then after you all your little flaws start coming out you're like oh well you know this person looks that way
00:55:51
and they have this sort of body this sort of face and hair and now I compare myself this person so he has like Fuller
00:55:57
hair so now I want Fuller hair he has a better nose so I want a better nose and this person's face doesn't have those so
00:56:03
why should I have it if I can just pay for it to have uh taken away and corrected why not I don't see any
00:56:11
problem with it you look like you're I mean you're a handsome guy I can't imagine you weren't that handsome before
00:56:17
you know what a lot of people tell me that they say you know what oh you don't need it
00:56:21
you don't need it but before I was uh I was good-look but it was starting to fade and I was starting to get very
00:56:30
self-conscious with that and I I couldn't I could not deal with having my looks go you knowz before it was
00:56:39
receding like I was saying and my nose was a bit different and my you know now I just take very good care of myself by
00:56:45
going to the gym all the time working out you know eating properly so I don't want to it would kind of defeat the
00:56:51
purpose if I was doing all that exercise and then you know looking kind of ugly like when
00:56:58
I'm in the when seriously when I'm in the uh the chair and they're doing like s my hair or something or they can say
00:57:04
oh well we better it really gets to me because they say to me we better cut it uh a bit longer at the back because we
00:57:10
can see that's starting to and I'm like don't even tell me that do not even tell
00:57:15
me that it's starting to get uh thin at the back I don't want to hear I'm in denial like I said about it so I'm like
00:57:20
okay I've been hearing it so much lately and the other act like the actress who I
00:57:25
work with they're like um yeah it's kind of they like pointed out I'm like you know what that is not nice okay I don't
00:57:33
want to hear it so but they do tell me it and you know I guess uh I have to hear it because you know just reality so
00:57:42
how how important are your looks to you oh my God if that's number one okay number one is looks number two would
00:57:49
have to be intelligent and I don't know what the rest are all I do all I care about is number one basically all I do
00:57:55
is care about how I look um by getting clothes basically cuz you know what when you're going out the parties when you're
00:58:04
going to events when you're going traveling everywhere you don't you have to constantly wear something new all the
00:58:11
time you know you can't keep you know it's very it's very it's a very strange industry but a lot of people can
00:58:18
understand unless you're in it you know so do you think um I enjoy it though yeah have you always been obsessed with
00:58:25
your looks like I mean I have like seriously people say to me all the time even when I was a teenager they're like
00:58:31
oh you're completely vain all you do is like stare in the mirror you walk by a mirror all you do is like glance and and
00:58:37
look at it you know when you're in a restaurant you just like take like a your spoon just like do a little like
00:58:42
look in it and you know try to like check and see if you're okay and a lot of my friends and family have been
00:58:48
saying you know what you're obsessed with it you're just so obsessed with how how you look and so obsessed with your
00:58:54
cosmetic surgeries that we don't understand this you know we don't don't understand you're becoming somebody
00:58:59
completely different and then going into an an industry where it's all about your
00:59:03
looks it is you know so when you go from you know when you're in high school or something your looks you know they're
00:59:11
they're informed and not like everything then you just go into an industry like people on their day-to-day jobs like who
00:59:17
not even in this industry they really don't have to look their best look presentable they don't have to like look
00:59:22
perfect but when you're doing this and you're in front of the camera basically it's a whole different story you know
00:59:27
what I mean people judge you so much and it's it's not really nice but you know it's the way things are if you don't
00:59:33
look you don't look this way you can't get that job you can't get do this have you ever heard of uh body dysmorphic
00:59:40
disorder have you heard of that term I've heard of it uh briefly I know that it's people who look
00:59:48
good and they think that they look completely hideous so I I I don't have too much knowledge to the whole thing so
00:59:55
you think I mean you don't think you look hideous you think you look good you just want to look even better I think
01:00:00
that I used to look hideous and after that after when I got all of my procedures done I'm starting to look
01:00:06
better and better but I still feel as though I can look even more uh handsome you know if I I finish my
01:00:17
journey into getting the surgeries done yeah you know what I mean do you um do you think it'll help you like in the
01:00:23
adult entertainment industry do you think this is going to get you more work or make you more money I have to say
01:00:29
that um it would get me a lot more work if I do get the uh hair transplant done because I noticed a difference when I
01:00:39
didn't have it as opposed to now because before it was as though um I noticed that the jobs were going more and more
01:00:49
to the other people and after I got the procedures done I noticed that I was the
01:00:55
one who was getting more and more of the work so now I'm like okay what happens if I get um more and more work done then
01:01:03
that means I'm going to get more and more work obviously and I think that once I get the whoops once I get the
01:01:11
implants and pack implants and stuff because a lot of the guys I noticed I work out like a nut so other guys who
01:01:17
are getting uh the jobs are like getting bigger bodies so I'm like you know what
01:01:24
I'm just going to follow whatever they do because they're getting bigger bodies and Better Bodies so that's going to
01:01:29
make me more money I have to do that and they're getting more job so I wonder why
01:01:35
so I look at what they're doing and it just makes logical sense to me that I would do it too yeah so do you think
01:01:42
that having the surgery is going to make a big change in your life it's going to
01:01:46
make a drastically uh different change in my life and it's just going to give me more
01:01:55
self-esteem and like make me feel amazing about myself CU it's very important for people to have high
01:02:05
self-esteem and to feel good about themselves and if going under the knife can help somebody achieve that then I
01:02:15
think that it's a great thing yeah you know um people just kind of people look at it as like a magical new experience
01:02:24
but just it's not really that um different it's not really that bad you know when you go under your you
01:02:34
know even though I'm awake you know I can still feel them cutting open my head but it's not like you feel the pain you
01:02:41
know what I mean but you just have to stay there for like hours and hours and feel them cutting open your head and
01:02:45
putting it in and you can actually feel like the blood dripping down the back of
01:02:49
your neck and and it's kind of graphic me like gross everybody out here but it's like seriously graphic um what do
01:02:57
you see when you look in the mirror now like what oh god when I look in the mirror now I just saw the little flaws
01:03:03
just come out and I'm just like you know what I can notice that I can just if I just I want to fix that I want to fix
01:03:10
this and what other what other things I mean other than like there other stuff that you're looking to fix other than
01:03:16
your hair and your packs sound really weird but I've seen this other guy on a cosmetic surgery show and he had on his
01:03:23
forehead he had like two little bumps in his skull and they protrude out of his forehead like
01:03:30
just's two bumps here in my head um cuz my bone sticks a little bit on my forehead like just two little bumps yeah
01:03:37
and he had his grinded down but he couldn't do it all the way cuz if he did his forehead would collapse he they had
01:03:43
to stop but cuz he thought it looked like devil horns and I noticed when I look in the mirror that I have the same
01:03:51
thing too like one here one here so I want I want to takeen off my forehead and I'm look there I'm like damn it's
01:03:59
getting bigger and bigger on my forehead so I just I want that done and I like is
01:04:06
do you see an end to the Cosmetic Surgery like will you ever be perfect in your own eyes you know what I just I
01:04:13
don't think I I I know that there's so much things I'm going to do and I don't care whether or not I have to work every
01:04:18
single day every hour I will do it and get all my Cosmic surgeries done maybe there might not be an end Maybe will be
01:04:24
an end but I just know that I'm just going to keep doing it until I'm personally T even if anybody else says
