to describe Casey Pigge would be being like the Joker.

the kind of crazy that I seen on Casey Pigge.

people while he's in custody.

was born in January 1988.

city of Chillicothe, Ohio. JONA ISON: Chillicothe was
the original capital of Ohio.

Population's in the 20,000s. A lot of blue-collar
workers, factory work. Everybody kind
of knows everybody

Pigge was born to a 14-year-old young lady.

She did drugs and drank quite
a bit during the pregnancy. - If she used and drank
while he was in utero,

there could have
been implications on brain development,
intellectual disability,

potentially health
concerns, all sorts of psychiatric disorders. SAM DOUGLAS: Casey's
childhood was extremely

unstable and traumatic. JONA ISON: He encountered
a lot of abuse. His aunt recalled
that at one time

she had witnessed his mother
push him from a moving car. He was often locked
in his room alone,

had food slid to him
under the door, and would urinate
into a heat register. - That kind of isolation
is really not

good for anyone,
particularly a child, while their brain
is developing. LINA HAJI: There is one theory
called the McDonald's triad.

It talks about
three red flags when it comes to developing
psychopathy as an adult,

and those three red
flags are bedwetting, arson or fire setting,
and cruelty to animals.

So red flag. SAM DOUGLAS: Pigge's behavior
spiraled out of control. Eventually, he was taken
away from his grandma

and placed into foster care. JONA ISON: He had been in 100
different foster care homes.

One of his foster
care fathers testified that Casey was the most needy
child he had ever encountered,

and that nothing could
make Casey happy. - He was severely neglected. He didn't go to school.

He didn't have his
proper needs met. He was essentially homeless. He was abandoned.

Nobody wanted him. JONA ISON: I don't know that
there's another case of child

abuse that I'm aware
of in any of the stories I've covered to the extent
of Casey Pigge's.

his teenage years, Pigge alternated between
foster care and living

with his abusive mom. At 18, he discovered love for
the first time in his life when

he met 16-year-old Angelique. ANGELIQUE: I'm Angelique. I am the ex-girlfriend
of Casey Pigge.

I met Casey when I was 16 years
old through a friend of mine. I thought he was
very nice and sweet.

I'd never had a boyfriend
do things or treat me the way that he did-- coming to my work
and surprising me

and getting me flowers. He was just so kind and caring. I was just drawn to him,
like-- you know what I mean?

Like, I wanted to be
around him 24/7. SAM DOUGLAS: But just two
weeks into their romance,

Pigge was arrested
and sent to jail. JONA ISON: It was the first
time he was ever in prison.

He was charged with
receiving stolen property and breaking and entering
for taking a golf cart.

LINA HAJI: Pigge's
crime doesn't seem to have a function
other than committing
00:08:12
the crime in and for itself. It's not like he's stealing
food because he's hungry.

It seems to be engaging
in the criminal behavior to engage
in the criminal behavior.

It's also very
indicative of somebody who is stimulation-seeking. People who are
high on psychopathy

tend to have a need
for stimulation. SAM DOUGLAS: When
Pigge was released just over five
months later, prison

appeared to have changed him. ANGELIQUE: He just
became different. He started drinking a lot, and
that would make him very mean.

I would do just, like,
the smallest little things, and it would just make
him, like, super mad.

And I was definitely scared. SAM DOUGLAS: Fueled by alcohol,
Pigge's abusive tendencies

rapidly worsened. ANGELIQUE: He would
accuse me of things that I obviously didn't do
and being just rough with me.

SAM DOUGLAS: Despite
Pigge's abusive behavior, Angelique soon became pregnant.

- It seemed like
because I was pregnant, he was more abusive physically
and would make me do drugs.

He made me drink alcohol,
like, when I was pregnant. I would drink so much that
I would end up throwing up.

He would still make
me drink after that. I tried leaving a couple
of different times.

Each time-- like, it was always
the same thing each time. Like, he would
be good at first,

but he always end
up doing it again. - Forcing her to take drugs and
alcohol while she's pregnant

add another level of sadism,
because he's not just negatively affecting
her, he's also negatively

affecting his child. His ability to exert control
is about also the unborn child.

SAM DOUGLAS: Seven months
into her pregnancy, Pigge tried to strangle his girlfriend.

- I just remember him putting
his hands around my throat and me waking up on the floor.

I didn't know where
I was at first. That was scary. I went to the cops
and made a report about it.

And so he did go
to jail, but for 30 days. That wasn't very long. SAM DOUGLAS: Casey Pigge
lived with Angelique

and her mom, Rhonda Sommers. ANGELIQUE: Me
and my mom were close. I told her almost everything.

She loved dancing in her room. I'd catch her singing and
dancing to the Backstreet Boys.

She was my rock
and my best friend. She allowed Casey
to stay with us. She would give him
words of encouragement,

kind of like a mother figure. - This is her daughter,
and her daughter is pregnant with his child.

So there must have
been a sense of hope that he would see that there's
potential for a nurturing and
00:11:43
caring family that
maybe he could change, maybe he could be
a better human being.

SAM DOUGLAS: In February 2008,
Angelique and Pigge's baby was born. They moved
into their own place just

a few doors down from Rhonda. Angelique was feeling hopeful. - He was doing things to show
me that he had changed,

and he bought
our daughter a crib. He was working with his
uncle, and he seemed like he
00:12:11
was doing good for himself. SAM DOUGLAS: But just like
before, Pigge's good behavior
00:12:18
didn't last long. ANGELIQUE: He was wanting
to steal my mom's car, and he said something about
knocking her out to steal it.

And I was like, no,
don't touch my mom. Leave my mom alone. Every time I told
my mom the crazy things
00:12:36
he was saying
and wanting to do, she just reassured
me, like, don't worry. It's going to be OK.

He's not going to do that. - It adds a layer of complexity
when you realize that he wants

Angelique to commit crimes. The reason for that
is because that would have him exert even
more control over Angelique,

because he would be almost the
only one with this knowledge. It would have them
kind of in a Bonnie and
00:13:05
Clyde situation, where if I'm
guilty, you're guilty as well. SAM DOUGLAS: In September 2008,
Angelique left their six and
00:13:13
a half month old baby alone
with Pigge while she went a few doors down
to collect some bedding
00:13:19
from her 52-year-old mom. - I think I was gone maybe
at the most 10 minutes. When I came back, our daughter
was on the floor crying.

So I go over
to pick her up, and I noticed she had some blood
speckles or spots on her nose
00:13:39
and had a bruise. She wouldn't drink her milk. She would try to,
but she couldn't
00:13:43
because she couldn't breathe. That freaked me out. And I asked him,
like, what happened?

What did you do? And he said, nothing, nothing. That's when I was
like, I'm done.

- Pigge was abused,
was neglected, was deprived
of a lot of things, had a really
unstable home life,

and then started engaging
in criminal activity at a very young age. You put all of that
together, and
00:14:12
it would not be a far
stretch to believe that he was hurting his child. SAM DOUGLAS: Angelique rushed
her six and a half month
00:14:20
old daughter to the hospital. She was checked over
and given the all-clear, but kept in for observation
as a precaution.

The following day, in need of
a change of clothes but fearful of running into Pigge,
Angelique asked her mom
00:14:38
to bring some from
the family home while she took a shower at her aunt's. ANGELIQUE: If I could
just go to my aunt's house

and take a shower
and then my mom just bring me clean clothes. You know what I mean.

I was like, can
you please hurry? Because I want to get
back to the hospital to be with my daughter.

Said she didn't mind, and I was
like, Mom, please be careful. [phone line ringing]

SAM DOUGLAS: Rhonda was
taking an unusually long time, so Angelique tried calling her.
00:15:10
- It just kept
ringing and ringing and ringing and ringing,
and then she wouldn't answer.

So I'm like, OK,
she's on her way then. SAM DOUGLAS:
Meanwhile, a call had
00:15:18
come in to the emergency
services in Chillicothe reporting an apartment
building on fire.

arrived on the scene. JONA ISON: I remember being
in the parking lot out here

and watching
as firefighters went in. There was neighbors,
of course, out and about, standing and watching.
00:15:37
[phone rings] SAM DOUGLAS: Angelique's
phone began to ring. ANGELIQUE: The next
thing I know,
00:15:43
my brother is calling
me and telling me that my apartment
is on fire and they don't know where my mom is.

I ran. I ran non-stop. I didn't stop to take
a break to breathe. By the time I got there, they
had already put the fire out,
00:16:02
but they couldn't find my mom. - Coming on scene, of course,
firefighters and police
00:16:11
wouldn't have thought much had
happened other than a fire. Upon closer investigation,
though, they
00:16:19
discovered Rhonda's body behind
a couch inside the living room. Her throat had been
cut several times.

She had been murdered. ANGELIQUE: They came in and
told us they found her body. I just kept telling
myself, this can't be real.

I immediately knew. I just knew it had
to have been him. SAM DOUGLAS: Angelique
informed the police

that her ex-boyfriend, Casey
Pigge, was likely involved. They found him around
six hours later.

- He just asked some
random person for a ride, and they took him
to his cousin's house.

- He had a spot of blood on his
shorts and a box cutter on him. That blood on his
shorts was a mixture
00:17:11
of Casey's and Rhonda's. SAM DOUGLAS: Pigge was
immediately arrested and taken to Ross County Jail.

An autopsy on Rhonda's body
showed that she had been killed with the box cutter.

JONA ISON: Casey had cut
Rhonda's throat at least five times and killed her, put
her body behind the couch,
00:17:37
and then set
the apartment on fire. - This is something
you do up close, and it really
indicates a suspect
00:17:48
attempting to exert control
or power over their victim. When you have
multiple wounds like
00:17:54
that as well, not two,
not three, but five, that typically is
consistent with somebody
00:18:00
who has absolute rage
inside towards their victim. - He had a history
of fire setting,
00:18:06
so this was something
he was used to. This was something
that he enjoyed. This was something that
fulfilled some need in him.

Of course, there was
the utility of potentially covering up evidence. - When we discovered
from the police
00:18:24
later that this,
in fact, had been a murder that was then
covered up by a fire, it was quite a surprise.

Chillicothe is
a pretty small town. The community is
always kind of taken aback when someone is
murdered, because it
00:18:41
doesn't happen that often. ANGELIQUE: I
wanted to kill him. I wanted to do to him
what he did to my mom.

Not only did I lose
my mom, but I lost my home. My mom was a good
person, so sweet and
00:19:00
kind and caring and giving. And I blame myself. If I would have been home, then
maybe she'd still be alive.

SAM DOUGLAS:
Investigators spoke with Pigge, who revealed
his motive for the murder
00:19:20
of his ex-girlfriend's mom. - Casey had felt that
Rhonda was preventing him from having a happy
life with Angelique
00:19:30
and their daughter. His plan was to murder
Rhonda, and then they could be a happy family together.
00:19:38
And his thought process was
that they could go off to Texas where his mother
was living, and
00:19:45
then they could kill his mom. LINA HAJI: I believe
that he saw Rhonda as a potential threat
to his relationship,
00:19:55
to his ability to control,
to his abuse, to his sadism. He wanted to engage
in evil, and Rhonda
00:20:03
was just the perfect victim. SAM DOUGLAS: Three days
later, 21-year-old Casey Pigge was charged
with aggravated
00:20:10
murder and aggravated arson. - There were
circumstances which would have made him
eligible for the death
00:20:17
penalty in the state of Ohio. However, somebody who is
possibly going to receive
00:20:24
or could receive the death
penalty has to take an IQ test. DAVID P. FORNSHELL: There
are many federal judges
00:20:29
that are unwilling. To impose the death penalty
against a defendant who has an IQ below 70,
and Casey Pigge was
00:20:37
2 to 3 points lower than that. ANGELIQUE: It's so easy for
anybody to fake their IQ test.

And he's already faked
so many other times, like to get Social Security and
to get things that he wants.

SAM DOUGLAS: The prosecution
instead pursued a sentence of life without parole. After pleading guilty,
Pigge's sentencing hearing

began just over a year
later, in November 2009. - In court, he was just
sitting there facing,
00:21:11
you know, straight. I don't think he seemed
remorseful at all. I just had nothing
but hate, nothing
00:21:22
but pure hatred for him. SAM DOUGLAS: Pigge's
attorney's line of defense

focused on his childhood. JONA ISON: The sentencing
hearing was very disturbing,

hearing all
the things that Casey had been through growing up. JONA ISON: The judge
said that it
00:21:55
was the most egregious
case of child abuse he had heard in his
16 years as a judge.

That doesn't mean that you
can just murder somebody. SAM DOUGLAS: After
a four-hour hearing.

Casey was sentenced
to 41 years in prison. He was sent to Lebanon
Correctional Facility in Ohio.

- Lebanon Correctional
institution is an old-school, 1960s, traditional prison. It is what you would
envision as a typical prison

that you might see depicted
in TVs or in movies. It holds some of the most
dangerous prisoners
00:22:46
that we have
in the state, people that have committed murder,
rape, robbery, kidnapping.

SAM DOUGLAS: Once inside, Pigge
quickly gained a reputation as a frequent troublemaker.

- The first three years
he was in prison, there were multiple instances
of him getting into trouble.
00:23:08
He had gotten into some fights. He had some contraband,
some razor blades, maybe some homemade alcohol.
00:23:16
SAM DOUGLAS: This
behavior continued for the next three years. Eventually, he was
sent to segregation.

JONA ISON: The segregation
cells at Lebanon were made of cinder blocks and
had a couple of bunks in them.

There are just too
many inmates to be able to house very many
in segregation alone,
00:23:42
so usually segregation cells
have two people in them. SAM DOUGLAS: After
a month alone, Pigge was
00:23:50
given a cellmate, Luther Wade. JONA ISON: Luther
Wade was 26 years old and serving
a 10 year sentence

for aggravated burglary. DAVID P. FORNSHELL: There
was a fairly sizable hole in the wall of Casey Pigge
and Luther Wade's cell that
00:24:10
led into an adjacent cell. The cinder block
had been pulled out of the wall that actually
allowed Casey Pigge to travel
00:24:20
back and forth to play
cards with the inmates that were in the adjacent cell. The hole in the wall where
the cinder block was missing

was covered by a scrapbook
of magazine pages that Casey Pigge
had pulled out. SAM DOUGLAS: Pigge
and Wade were cellmates

for just a single day. DAVID P. FORNSHELL: Casey
Pigge told Luther Wade that he wanted
to show him some type
00:24:50
of a card game magic trick. He wanted him to be
blindfolded with a sheet that they had in the cell,
and that he should count to 15.

Luther Wade began to count, and
once he got to the number five, Casey Pigge retrieved
the cinder block which
00:25:15
had been underneath the bed. And he began to smash Luther
Wade in the side of the head.

PAUL LOPEZ: This went
on for several minutes, and Pigge would actually
pause in between segments

of the assault to look
for signs of life. If he felt that Luther
was still alive,

he just continued beating
him with the cinder block in the head. After he was convinced
Luther was gone,

he placed his body
in the lower bunk of the cell. JONA ISON: There was
a correctional officer

who was doing rounds when
Casey hollered out to him and said he had
killed his cellmate.

At first, the corrections
officer didn't believe him, but then looked
in and saw a pool of blood

under Luther Wade's bed. LINA HAJI: To murder
this person by pretending we're
going to do a magic trick

and then kill you with a cinder
block, that takes a lot of planning and calculation.

So it makes you wonder
how somebody with a low IQ was that criminally savvy. SAM DOUGLAS: Pigge
was secured and

immediately taken
to an interview room to be questioned. Luther Wade was rushed
to the hospital,

where he was pronounced dead. DAVID P. FORNSHELL: I
was the county prosecutor responsible for investigating
and prosecuting the murder

of Mr. Wade by Casey Pigge. Prison officials
escorted us to the cell. As I looked in, the two things
that quickly stood out to me

were the blood all over the
cell as well as this large hole in the wall. I had never seen this
level of brutality

in one of our prison murders. The only type of person
that can do that is somebody that has zero
regard for human life.

The best evidence that we
have of why Casey Pigge wanted to murder Luther Wade
was the statement that he gave

to the prison investigator
right afterwards, which is, how
many people do you have to kill to be considered
to be a serial killer?

And the hair
on the back of my neck stood up because that told
me that this was intentional,

this was done with prior
calculation and design. Casey Pigge is

On January 30, 2017, 29-year-old Casey Pigge pled
guilty to the aggravated

murder of Luther Wade. Although the murder qualified
as a death penalty case, Pigge's low IQ made him
exempt for a second time.

DAVID P. FORNSHELL: We made
the decision reluctantly to go ahead and agree
to a plea agreement
00:28:44
whereby he would agree
to plead guilty to the aggravated murder, we
would dismiss the death penalty

specifications, and he would
be sentenced to a term of life without parole. SAM DOUGLAS: Just two days
after his plea hearing,

Pigge was being
transported back to prison from court when his
insatiable lust for killing
00:29:11
overcame him once again. TERRY STEELE: My name
is Terry Steele. I had been incarcerated
for a drugstore robbery.

My day started at North
Central Correctional Facility, and it was a really
cold morning.

We loaded up about 5:30
in the morning, and we went to Franklin Medical Center. Franklin Medical Center is the
hub where they transport all
00:29:41
the prisoners from the state. SAM DOUGLAS: Terry
was being transferred to another prison because
of a disciplinary violation.

Whilst at the medical center,
he was loaded onto a prison bus with Casey Pigge, someone he'd
never come across until now.

TERRY STEELE: I
think there was about 12 or 13 people
on that bus that day until the bus was full.

They loaded us all in a quick
manner up on the bus, putting level 1, 2,
3, and 4 inmates all
00:30:11
together in a manner that
they'd never do typically. It was obvious that
they were in a hurry

to get back because we
were probably two hours late leaving the hub that day. JONA ISON: The inmates
were not told where
00:30:27
to sit on the transport bus. They just got to sit wherever. Casey, he was the highest
security risk,

and he was seated
the furthest away from the correction officers. SAM DOUGLAS: Terry has
returned to the road the bus

was driving along that day. TERRY STEELE: I was
loaded in about four seats from the back
of the bus, and Pigge was

located right across from me. PAUL LOPEZ: He loosened
his belly chain, was able to step out
of his handcuffs,

and now his hands
are in front of him and they're no longer
secured to his waist.

What he ended up having is
a ligature, a steel ligature. Now, the waist chain now is in
a loop attached to the center

chain of his handcuffs. TERRY STEELE: From the second
he took those chains off, the atmosphere was electric
because everybody on the bus

was aware something
was about to happen. SAM DOUGLAS: A few
rows in front of Pigge

was 61-year-old David Johnson. He was serving an eight-year
sentence for sexual battery.

TERRY STEELE: He would
let him get a breath and then just put
more pressure on. It was like he
was torturing him.

He wasn't just trying
to hurry up and kill him. He deliberately took his time.

I've never seen
the look of glee like he had on his
face that day. It looked like
a look of ecstasy,

like he was having sex. This is the evilest
person I've ever seen. - He's starting to realize
that this is something

that he enjoys, that
he takes pleasure in, that he takes
sexual pleasure in. Not only is it
escalating, it's likely

that it's not going to stop. - The guards never
heard a sound because it was
reported by the inmates

that they had the radio
in the bus on, listening to music
at a very high volume.

TERRY STEELE: Eventually,
15 minutes in, he took his hands, held his hands
over his nose and his mouth

until he was dead. LINA HAJI: It's a cold, badly
humored joke in his eyes. It's a very detached
statement from the fact

that he just took
somebody's life. He's, in a way, sending
a message to the other inmates.

This is who I am. This is what I'm capable of. Don't mess with me because I
don't have remorse,

and I'll do it again. TERRY STEELE: He put him back
in his seat and set him up.

He told everybody just

nothing else was said.

went unnoticed by prison transport officers as the bus
continued on its journey.

there was a reason he was doing what he was doing. I didn't find out
until we got to the hub

arrived at Ross Correctional Institution, the officers on
the bus discovered 61-year-old

David Johnson dead. SAM DOUGLAS: Terry informed
a correctional officer that it was Pigge who killed Johnson.

acts of violence in prison. I've never seen evil
of that magnitude.

Even after having

pled guilty to Luther
Wade's murder, knowing that he was about
ready to be sentenced

to life without parole
for that murder, he is able to carry
out yet another murder

while incarcerated. It just made me

was placed into ad

seg, or solitary confinement,
this time completely alone. Now with a third brutal
murder to his name,

when he appeared in court
for killing his cellmate, the security was unprecedented.

level of a showing of force, that level of a showing

sentenced to life

months later, Pigge

was sentenced for the bus
murder of David Johnson following a guilty plea. Again, security was tight.

- The prosecutor was
concerned he would kill again, so she had requested that he
be brought in by a SWAT team.

He was smiling, laughing,
very much seemed to be enjoying all this attention. SAM DOUGLAS: Pigge
was given another 25

years to serve on top
of his existing sentences. - Adding 25 years
to somebody who's already

going to die in prison
with a life sentence is completely inconsequential,
so you even

wonder, what is the point? Why does the Justice
system go through with it? Maybe it's to get
justice for the victims.

You know, that's
very important, but it's inconsequential
to Pigge. SAM DOUGLAS: Casey
Pigge was to carry out

his sentence at Southern
Ohio Correctional Institute in Lucasville. He was placed into permanent
administrative segregation.

But even that would not be
enough to stop this killer. - At this point, he cannot
be in general population

because he's displayed,
time and time again, that he's a murderer. He's now a serial killer.

- There was a letter that he
had written another inmate that indicated he was going
to catch him another one,

you'll see, and signed
the letter, "Love, Boxcutter." SAM DOUGLAS: On February
20, 2018, Pigge, now age 30,

requested to see
a nurse on the same day as another inmate
called Greg Reinke. - Greg Reinke was in prison for
life on an aggravated

murder charge. He had a prior history
of attacks in prison. HECTOR BRAVO: Any inmate
could ask to go to the nurse.

They usually fill out a slip,
and once the nurse receives it, it'll be a scheduled
appointment, kind

of like out in the streets. SAM DOUGLAS: Correctional
Officer Matthew Mathias accompanied both
Pigge and Reinke

to the infirmary that day. - The officer first escorted
Mr. Reinke into the infirmary

and then shut the door. He left Mr. Pigge
in the hallway. After approximately
four minutes,

Mr. Reinke is finished
with the nurse, and him and Officer
Mathias are walking back

towards the infirmary
door, likely so he could swap Reinke with Pigge. At this point, you see Mr.
Pigge take the handcuffs,

lower them underneath
his body, step out of them so now he
has his hands for use

in the front of his body. - Matthew Mathias
went to open the door. Casey rushed the door
and slammed Matthew Matthias,

pinning him behind
the door against the wall. And in less than a minute,
Casey and Greg Reinke

stabbed Matthew Matthias over
30 times with two shanks. HECTOR BRAVO: He was able
to make two shanks out

of the metal in his
cell bunk and ultimately carried out his
attack on officer Matthias.

JONA ISON: So the nurse
hit the red alert button, which notified
others at the prison

that there was a serious
incident happening. About 20 correction officers
rushed to that mini-infirmary

and latched on to Casey
Pigge and Greg Reinke and broke it up. HECTOR BRAVO: It brings
back memories of incidents

that I have been involved
in where inmates did stab correctional officers. It's a horrible
scene, often filled

with blood, loud
noises, the alarm blaring, the smell
of pepper spray in the air, people screaming.

SAM DOUGLAS:
Matthew Mathias was rushed to the hospital
via helicopter, where he was treated
for multiple stab wounds,

including internal bleeding. Miraculously, he
survived the attack. Pigge was immediately
secured and questioned.

- He said that the officer
had broke his CD player and was talking smack to him
on a whole other level.

He also stated that you can
only push a dog to its limits, and that is the reason
that he chose to assault

the officer, per his words. Violence should always be the
last option, and in this case,

it was the first option. SAM DOUGLAS: Pigge
was transferred to Ohio State Penitentiary, the
state's only supermax prison.

- I think he's absolutely
committed to doing as much harm to people as he
possibly can, and

he won't be stopped unless
he is completely isolated. There is nothing that you can
do from a security standpoint

and have him around other
inmates at any point in time, or else he's going
to try to kill them.

SAM DOUGLAS: Pigge's
sentencing for the attack on Matthew Matthias took
place on April 17, 2019.

pleaded guilty in court and tried to allege that there
are two sides to every coin,

and that he tried to claim
that he previously had been egged on to attack inmates.

Officials looked into that
and said that there was no evidence of that. SAM DOUGLAS: Avoiding
execution yet again,

Pigge was sentenced
to 32 years. DAVID P. FORNSHELL: I was
angry on so many levels

and for so many
different reasons, because from my perspective,
Casey Pigge should have been

strapped down and executed. TERRY STEELE:
Pigge's actions that day changed my life forever.

It changed the way I
looked at the world. I never knew that somebody
could be that evil.

my everything, absolutely everything. I always imagined her
growing older with me

and it's just not right. Like, I'm just not whole. - Casey Pigge was able
to kill someone in his cell

while incarcerated. He was able to kill somebody
on a bus while incarcerated. And he was able to almost kill,
well, a corrections officer

Pigge will remain incarcerated in isolation
for the rest of his life.

heart, and he's soulless. I think he's a weak,
cowardly monstrosity that

only kills the defenseless. We need to put
him in a jail cell so long that time
forgets he ever existed.

to be one of the world's

best serial killers. He wants to kill. He wants a high body count. He doesn't care what
