Mike King goes deep in this episode! || Runners Only! Podcast with Dom Harvey
Episode Description
EP23 Runners Only! with Dom Harvey & Mike King (Part 1 of 2)
He was named New Zealander of the year in 2019 for his work as a mental health advocate.
This is one hell of a conversation. I would say it’s the whole Mike King story but, truth be told, I feel like we just scratched the surface.
In this wide-ranging chat, Mike gives us the exclusive details of a run-based fundraiser he is embarking on in 2023.
We talk about his life- the early years, his life as a chef, and how he became NZs most popular comedian. In the last quarter, we get into the mental health stuff, and we go really deep on that stuff in part 2.
Mike's a guy that knows his stuff, just from talking to so many thousands of New Zealanders. So I really hope there are some takeaways in here that all of us can use.
