pitched it to production companies and they said it couldn't be done and would cost over kind of what didn't feem and

andir do that exactly it's he he did all three rooms of The Comedy Store he did three this is four so it's more I like

trying to get to the root well I have I have a history though with uh with I have a there was a kid in my high school

what you have a history of what with Chinese people we all do buddy run pretty deep um I uh there was

a kid that we grew up with in my neighborhood he moved there in high school and uh we called him Mexican Tony

but he was he was incredibly Chinese that's what made itun that's what made it fun uh but he was funny Mexican

tonyon so funny yeah he was uh he was from China he was like a transfer kid and his family was so rich they had the

biggest house in our neighborhood and he went to our high school and he wanted to ingratiate his friends into the uh you

know people make friends so he had all the people over over for a house party in uh 11th grade and we all went to his

house Long Island you know scumbags we all got very drunk there was probably 50 people there got way out of control

people like destroyed his house like punched holes in the walls people were fighting and brawling I lost my

virginity on his sister's bed after seven Mike's Hard lemonades and ever since then I felt bad about that so I

feel like I owe the Chinese people a little a little bit of gratitude he

opened his home to me and uh and we really ton now I don't honestly I know

he got in a ton of trouble for that his house was pristine beautiful impeccably he just he thought he would just have a

few friends over and then everyone text let me ask you a question he's in Trump's cabinet I heard he was he's

probably doing and Mexican Tony we all love Mexican

Tony not really Mexican yeah when his parents came back you mean what do you

think they would said to him accent please

so here you are set the I'm Mexican yo mom Dad what's up sorry Mom Dad why how

remember 2019 at The Comedy Store was like it was just I came out here it was the first time I came out to LA and I

was like oh [ __ ] this might be better than New York now like it's like it's like at that level every comic you guys

are all driving like Ferraris and like BMW what happening I was like how is everybody doing so and then I was like

you know what I'm I I did New Year's Eve at The Comedy Store and it was amazing and I was like I'm going to move out

here in this year in 2020 and then you know it all ended so and you know who

did that yeah Byron Allen oh he brought it with the with the

weather oh [ __ ] Chinese fog rolled in yeah yeah he's Unstoppable he really

is dude yeah hit TV shows controls the weather I think the combination of Co

and then Rogan and everyone moving out of La kind of [ __ ] up the scene a little bit I have to admit that I think

but I think we're the scene now yeah yeah but I don't like do you like being the scene you like being Top Dog I'm

having so much fun I'm having fun but I don't sometimes like I look at the lineup and I'll go oh I'm the the guy on

the lineup I don't like that I like seeing but you were always one of the guys in the lineup to be one of many but to be the

only one sometimes you know sometimes you look at the lineup and go oh [ __ ] I'm the only guy I think what a lot of times happens with us that also happens

in New York that I see and he can attest to this comedy seller lineups everyone's on [ __ ] Tour all the time yeah I

think more comics now are on tour than I've ever seen in my life every single comic is and also every single comic

seems to be in Australia and New Zealand we just got an offer to go down there it feels like Australia New Zealand have

every comedian in America well tell him where you're staying right now you care to talk about it or no yeah it do I'm saying at Tim's uh Tim's Mega Mansion

over in the Hollywood Hill you're like 5 minutes from me like 3 minutes from me yeah let's hang out dude I we leave tomorrow

for if you weren't leaving how long have you are you how long are you in town for uh I'm only in town till Sunday then I

go to Austin oh yeah yeah oops Yeah Yeah got back from Austin do

you have any words of wisdom for for uh for feny for for Austin give him give him one of the inside dips yeah get like

it's a great character he did on Mad TV bring up oh hot dog real fast

oh I mean two camera no less just a full right at the camera so we're open up of

a hot dog joint I mean that's for that that's how that that's how that sketch Ends by the way it just all the sketches

end with all hot dogs and then you just that's fun it was mad tv at the time and

we can move on I don't need to do this cuz he's goingon to not want to talk about it but it honestly it was the reason that I think it was so successful

up against SNL was that the sketches were way more like wacka do Insane I

think SNL tried and still does have kind of a cohesive like front middle end

right like it always has like a bow on it like a a very traditional well-written sketches sure but I like that that show was [ __ ] weird it was

like shooting at the sky sometimes and it didn't matter if it didn't really miss Swan

and [ __ ] weird what was the one that um what was the one that uh Michael MD

Mel mdal Stuart Stuart I not all of the amount of times that people yeah my

friend I used to just do that like look what I can do jump and just do the dumbest thing it was wonderful we're having dinner with Michael by the way

don't I know we are but but here's here's the one thing I want to say is when I auditioned there was like they

didn't want me they were like we want a white guy so they they the times have

changed and they wanted to Taran kill him oh and so you know at the end it was down to me and Taran killum and they

basically said we got to give this kid a shot I mean I know he's as Korean we they've never had I mean they've never

had anyone like that none of the sketch shows really had someone like me and you both got it and me and Taran both got it

and um so you know my hats off to them for hiring me hats off to them for hiring we actually met some of the Matt

TV people in Boston oh yeah yeah they came some of the old Executives came to the writers and stuff like that it was
