My name is Tim Blevens. I am the director of bands here at Boil County High School. Danielle played the
00:00:06
saxophone. She played it in concert band, in the marching band, and also in in pep band. She was always faithful to
00:00:13
be there and never had to worry if she said she was coming, she was coming. She was going to do it and be a part of it.
00:00:20
We give it on a yearly basis to a student that will be a music major and go on to uh want to hopefully teach uh
00:00:28
in the in the school systems. I will uh on a yearly basis remind the students of the tree and what it
00:00:37
represents and and Danielle and she just made everything work better and come together. She was in that regard a
00:00:45
one-of-a-kind uh type student that um that I won't forget. Danielle was one of those people who was
00:00:53
always kind of there to root for the underdog. I had a really hard time in high school and Danielle was the type of
00:00:59
friend who could kind of get you through any kind of scrape that you had. We always knew that she uh was going to
00:01:04
move out of Boil County and um do something cool with her life. And she really did. Um she jumped out of planes,
00:01:10
she swam with sharks. um anything that she could get a rush from doing, she would try. What I've tried to take away
00:01:16
from Danielle's story and Danielle's life um is just to try new things and uh live life on the edge a little bit more
00:01:23
because you're really living when you're doing that. And I think in the short time that we had her, she lived life to
00:01:28
the fullest.
