Kara and Scott Warn Voters About This Elon-Backed Website
Episode Description
“This is a data harvesting operation wearing a civic costume.”
Scott Galloway and Kara Swisher warn voters about Elon Musk’s VoteSafe.org and the personal data his America PAC can collect through the site.
Brief Summary
Votesafe.org, linked to Elon Musk, is criticized for data harvesting under the guise of civic service.
Key points
- Data Harvesting Disguised as Civic Duty. The site collects personal information under the guise of helping voters. 'It's basically a fake ATM that skims your card.'
- Official Voting Resources. For reliable voting information, visit vote.gov or vote.org instead of Musk's site.
