Dom Harvey

Episode Description

EP71 Runners Only! with Dom Harvey & Leigh Hart If you say you don't know who Leigh Hart is, I'd probably raise an eyebrow. He has been part of the New Zealand comedy and TV landscape for two decades now.

He is also the face of Hellers sausages, the creator of Wakachangi beer, and, more recently, the insanely good Snackachangi chips THE best Salt n Vinegar chips in the world).

BUT whether you know him or not, I think you’ll be a fan of Leigh after this. It’s a fascinating insight into the mind of a creative genius.

We get real deep and talk about his childhood which included a whole year without seeing his parents.

His entire TV career and which of his old work he regrets now, and how the famous snackachangi chips came about.

Lee also reflects on his marriage breakup, the resilience needed to get through it, and how he has become more emotionally vulnerable with age. This was my favorite part of the conversation. His honesty and vulnerability were profound.
