Chanel Harris-Tavita on why he turned his back on pro sport || Runners Only! Podcast with Dom Harvey
Episode Description
EP36 Runners Only! with Dom Harvey & Chanel Harris-Tavita
Chanel Harris-Tavita is a 24-year-old rugby league player for the Warriors- he's bloody good, too! Last weekend (Saturday, September 3) he played his final game for the Warriors against the Gold Coast Titans at Mt Smart Stadium in Auckland.
He made a decision earlier this year to have a break from the sport that has brought him money and fame and is also the only career he has known.
He's not calling it retirement. He's not ruling out a future return. But he has no idea of what his 2023 will look like, other than it will include travelling and journaling. Check out his blog: https://www.simplelessons.com
It's scary...but also bloody exciting. He's a fascinating guy and I really hope you guys like this conversation.
